A large-scale high-pressure granulite belt (HPGB), more than 700 km long, is recognized within the metamorphic basement of the North China craton. In the regional tectonic framework, the Hengshan-Chengde HPGB is located in the central collision belt between the western block and eastern block, and represents the deep crustal structural level. The typical high-pressure granulite (HPG) outcrops are distributed in the Hengshan and Chengde areas. HPGs commonly occur as mafic xenoliths within ductile shear zones, and underwent multipile deformations. To the south, the Hengshan-Chengde HPGB is juxtaposed with the Wutai greenstone belt by several strike-slip shear zones. Preliminary isotopic age dating indicates that HPGs from North China were mainly generated at the end of the Neoarchaean, assocaited with tectonic assembly of the western and eastern blocks.

N-doped carbons as one of the most prominent anode materials to replace standard graphite exhibit outstanding Li+storage ***,N-doped carbon anodes still suffer from low N-doping levels and low initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE).In this study,high N-doped and low graphitic-N carbons(LGNCs)with enhanced ICE were synthesized by taking advantage of a denitrification strategy for graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)).In brief,more than 14.5 at%of N from g-C_(3)N_(4)(55.1 at%N)was retained by reacting graphitic-N with lithium,which was subsequently *** graphitic-N is largely responsible for the irreversible capacity,the anode's performance was significantly *** to general N-doped carbons with high graphitic-N proportion(>50%)and low N content(<15 at%),LGNCs delivered a low proportion of 10.8%-17.2% within the high N-doping content of 14.5-42.7 at%,leading to an enhanced specific capacity of 1499.9mAh g^(-1) at an ICE of 93.7% for the optimal sample of LGNC(4:1).This study provides a facile strategy to control the N content and speciation,achieving both high Li+storage capacity and high ICE,and thus promoting research and application of N-doped carbon materials.

Sponges are open cellular materials with numerous interesting ***,the potential of compartmentalized sponges has not been explored although many new properties and applications could be *** found that compartmentalized fbrous ultraporous polymer sponges with superhydrophobic surfaces could be designed as virtually wall-less reaction *** this,for example,the efcient removal of CO_(2) from water and the controlled mineralization of calcium carbonate are *** high porosity(>99%)and superhydrophobicity make these sponges ideal candidates to hold alkanolamine solution for absorbing CO_(2) and exchange gas through the walls of the *** tubular sponge exhibits a much higher evaporation rate than a glass tube with the same diameter due to the much larger contact area between water and ***,the spongy reaction container also possesses a much faster adsorption rate,smaller equilibration time and higher efciency for CO_(2) adsorption than the glass tube *** addition,these tubular sponges are also utilized to precipitate calcium carbonate by ammonium carbonate decomposition,which can control the deposition rates and products by tailoring the porosity and surface chemistry in the *** new sponges provide an ideal basis for numerous new applications,for example,as breathable pipe lines for gas-liquid exchange,slag slurry carbonization,humidifer,and blood enricher.

A Schrodinger eigenvalue problem is solved for the 219 quantum simple harmonic oscillator using a finite element discretization of real space within which elements are adaptively spatially refined. We compare two competing methods of adaptively discretizing the real-space grid on which computations are performed without modifying the standard polynomial basis-set traditionally used in finite element interpolations; namely, （i） an application of the Kelly error estimator, and （ii） a refinement based on the local potential level. When the performance of these methods are compared to standard uniform global refinement, we find that they significantly improve the total time spent in the eigensolver.

Garnet is one of the most significant minerals in metamorphic rocks, that provides key information on prograde, peak-metamorphic and retrograde parts of the pressure-temperature （PT） path. Such results require a detailed knowledge of its different growth domains. For iron-poor compositions, the cathodoluminescence （CL） microscopy is an important and often overlooked method and allows to identify the internal structures of all garnet grains in one thin section within only a few seconds. The advantage of the CL-microscope is to deliver low magnification images in true color, not only of garnet but also, for instance, of other rock forming silicates, carbonates, sulfates, etc., of metamorphic, but also of sedimentary and magmatic origin, using polished thin sections. Internal structures of grossular from Mexico and pyrope from the Italian Alps were characterized and visualized by CL-microscopy. The different growth domains were additionally studied using CL-spectra and electron microprobe （EMP） analysis. Grossular shows a patchy zonation in its core while in mantle and rim zones oscillatory zoning is observed. It contains zones of anomalous birefringence, zones of orange and bluish luminescence and zones lacking luminescence. Different but low amounts of the activator elements Mn2＋ and Eu2＋ are responsible for the orange and bluish luminescent domains. Pyrope is also characterized by oscillatory growth zones, shows a dull luminescent core with a change of crystal morphology during growth, and displays an increase of brightness from core towards rim--the outermost rim, however, is lacking luminescence. The different luminescent zones are characterized by different amounts of Dy3＋, Tb3＋, Sm3＋ and Sm2＋ as activator elements. A series of random terpolymers P2-P5 were designed and synthesized by randomly embedding 5 mol%, 10 mol%, 15 mol% and 25 mol% feed ratios of low cost 2,2-bithiophene as the third monomer to the famous donor-acceptor （D-A） type copolymer PTBT-Th （P1）. All polymers showed similar molecular weight with number-average molecular weight （Mn） and weight-average molecular weight （Mw） in the range of （59-74） and （93-114） kg·mol-1, respectively, to ensure a fair comparison on the structure-property relationships. Compared with the control copolymer PTBT-Th, the random terpolymers exhibited enhanced absorption intensity in a wide range from 400 nm to 650 nm in both solution and film as well as in polymer/PC71BM blends. From grazing incident wide-angle X-ray diffraction （GIWAXS）, compared with the regularly alternated copolymer PTB7-Th, the random terpolymers demonstrated mild structural disorder with reduced （100） lamellar stacking and slightly weakened （010） π-π stacking for the polymers as well as slightly reduced PC71BM aggregation in polymer/PC71BM blends. However, the measured hole mobility for terpolymers （（1.20-3.73） × 10 -4 cm2·V-1·s-1） was evaluated to be comparable or even higher than 1.35 × 10 -4 cm2·V-1 ·s-1 of the alternative copolymer. Enhanced average power conversion efficiency （PCE） from 7.35% to 8.11% and 7.79% to 8.37% was observed in both conventional and inverted device architectures from copolymer P1 to terpolymers P4, while further increasing the 2,2-bithiophene feed ratio decreased the PCE.
