Incredible progress has been made in human action recognition(HAR),significantly impacting computer vision applications in sports ***,identifying dynamic and complex movements in sports like badminton remains challenging due to the need for precise recognition accuracy and better management of complex motion *** learning techniques like convolutional neural networks(CNNs),long short-term memory(LSTM),and graph convolutional networks(GCNs)improve recognition in large datasets,while the traditional machine learning methods like SVM(support vector machines),RF(random forest),and LR(logistic regression),combined with handcrafted features and ensemble approaches,perform well but struggle with the complexity of fast-paced sports like *** proposed an ensemble learning model combining support vector machines(SVM),logistic regression(LR),random forest(RF),and adaptive boosting(AdaBoost)for badminton action *** data in this study consist of video recordings of badminton stroke techniques,which have been extracted into spatiotemporal *** three-dimensional distance between each skeleton point and the right hip represents the spatial *** temporal features are the results of Fast Dynamic Time Warping(FDTW)calculations applied to 15 frames of each video *** weighted ensemble model employs soft voting classifiers from SVM,LR,RF,and AdaBoost to enhance the accuracy of badminton action *** E2 ensemble model,which combines SVM,LR,and AdaBoost,achieves the highest accuracy of 95.38%.

Objective: The prevalence of complementary and alternative medicine(CAM) usage among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) in Indonesia is high. However, to date, little is known about why Indonesian T2DM patients choose CAM therapies, how their knowledge, attitude and practice(KAP) of CAM affects their choices, or how demographics correlate with patient choices. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the KAP and predictors of CAM usage in T2DM patients in ***: This was an observational, cross-sectional study. Patients were interviewed using a questionnaire. Chi-square tests or Fisher’s exact tests were used to compare demographic and clinical data, as well as KAP assessments, between T2DM patients who use and do not use CAM. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to investigate predictors of CAM ***: A total of 628 T2DM patients were enrolled in the study. CAM therapies were used by 341 patients(54.3%). The most common therapies were herbs and spiritual healing, used by 100.0% and 68.3% of CAM-using patients, respectively. CAM therapies were frequently recommended by family members(91.5%), and CAM users had significantly more knowledge and more positive attitudes toward CAM therapies than nonusers. Among users, 66% said they would not follow their healthcare providers’ instructions to not use CAM therapies, and 69.5% said they would not disclose their plan to use CAM therapies with their healthcare provider. Neither demographic nor clinical characteristics were associated with CAM use. The factors that best predicted the use of CAM therapies were their availability and low cost(odds ratio [OR] = 4.59;95% confidence interval [CI]: 3.01–7.01), the belief that CAM therapies were safe(OR = 2.04;95% CI: 1.40–2.95), the belief that CAM therapies could help with diabetes control(OR = 1.75;95% CI: 1.15–2.66), and the belief that CAM therapies could help maintain physical health(OR = 1.68;95% CI: 1.13–2.49).Conclusion: CAM the

The Southwest Maluku region in eastern Indonesia is considered a frontier,outermost and underdeveloped *** inhabitants live on isolated islands,including the residents of Mahaleta Village,where only 9.4%of the community have limited access to *** study aimed to design an economically feasible hybrid renewable energy(RE)system based on solar and wind energy to integrate with the productive activities of the *** study developed conceptual schemes to meet the demand for electricity from the resi-dential,community,commercial and productive sectors of the *** analysis was performed using a techno-economic *** hybrid system was designed using the HOMER Pro optimization function,and cold-storage and dryer systems were designed to support related productive *** optimized design of the hybrid RE system comprised 271.62 kW of solar photovoltaics,80 kW of wind turbines and a 1-MWh lead-acid *** found that the hybrid RE system would only be economically feasible with a full-grant incentive and an electricity tariff of$0.0808/***,the productive activity schemes were all economically feasible,with a cold-storage cost of$0.035/kg and a drying cost of$0.082/*** the hybrid RE system with productive activities can improve the economic feasibility of the energy system and create more jobs as well as increase income for the local community.

Macronutrient deficiency inhibits the growth and development of chili *** of the non-destructive methods that plays a role in processing plant image data based on specific characteristics is computer *** study uses 5166 image data after augmentation process for six plant health *** the analysis of one feature cannot represent plant health ***,a careful combination of features is *** study combines three types of features with HSV and RGB for color,GLCM and LBP for texture,and Hu moments and centroid distance for *** feature and its combination are trained and tested using the same MLP *** combination of RGB,GLCM,Hu moments,and Distance of centroid features results the best *** addition,this study compares the MLP architecture used with previous studies such as SVM,Random Forest Technique,Naive Bayes,and *** produced the best performance,followed by SVM and MLP,with accuracy reaching 97.76%,90.55%and 89.70%,*** MLP has lower accuracy than CNN,the model for identifying plant health conditions has a reasonably good success rate to be applied in a simple agricultural environment.

AIM:To find a new concept to show whether or not apoptosis of retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)canbe determined in the histology of acute hyperglycemia in the role of expressed Brn3b gene related to nitric oxide(NO),caspase-3,nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)as an early predictor of primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)eyes and their ***:Experimental in vivo study was carried out using adult male,white Sprague-Dawley rats aged≥2 mo,weighing 150-200 *** animals were divided into two groups,one group receiving intraperitoneal injection of streptozotociz 50 mg/kg in 0.01 mol/L citricbuffer and p H 4.5 and a comparison made with the control *** tissue was divided into two parts(both experimental and control groups respectively):a)right retina for immunohistochemistry(IHC;caspase-3 and TNF-α);b)left retina was divided into two parts for the purpose of real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR)test(RNA extraction for Brn3b gene expression analysis)and ELISA test(NO and NF-κB).RESULTS:The experimental group showed a decrease in Brn3b gene expression compared to the control group(1.3-fold lower in 2nd month;1.1-fold lower in 4th month and 2.5-fold lower in 6th month).However,there was a decrease of NO,caspase-3,and an increase of NF-κB and TNF-α***:The expression of m RNA Brn3b gene is inversely proportional to apoptosis in *** quantity of NO,caspase-3,NF-κB and TNF-αis influential in expression of Brn3b in RGCs caused by hyperglycemia in diabetic rats.

This study proposes a conceptual design of green hydrogen production via proton exchange membrane electrolysis powered by a floating solar photovoltaic *** system contributes to industrial decarbonization in which hydrogen blending with natural gas is proposed as an approach to smooth the energy *** proposed design addresses the challenge of supplying a continuous flow-rate of green hydrogen,which is typically demanded by industrial end *** study particularly considers a realistic area required for the installation of a floating solar photovoltaic *** enable the green hydrogen production of 7.5 million standard cubic feet per day,the required structure includes the floating solar photovoltaic system and Li-ion batteries with the nominal capacities of 518.4 megawatts and 780.8 *** is equivalent to the requirement for 1524765 photovoltaic modules and 3718 Li-ion *** assessment confirms the technical viability of the proposed concept of green hydrogen production,transportation and *** the present commercialization is hindered by economics due to a high green hydrogen production cost of USD 26.95 per kg,this green hydrogen pathway is expected to be competitive with grey hydrogen produced via coal gasification and via natural gas steam reforming by 2043 and 2047,respectively.

Abundant potential of renewable energy(RE)in Indonesia is predicted to replace conventional energy which continues to experience depletion year by ***,until now,the use of RE has only reached 2%of the existing potential of 441.7 *** main overview of this work is to investigate the availability of RE that can be utilized for electricity generation in *** energy demand and targets in the long run during the 2017-2050 period are also ***,government policies in supporting RE development are considered in this *** results show that the potential of RE in Indonesia can be utilized and might replace conventional energy for *** use of RE for electricity generation can be achieved by employing a government policy that supports the investor as the executor of RE *** selling price of electricity generated from RE is cheaper than electricity generated from fossils;this makes economy is more affordable for ***,the target set by the government for utilizing RE as the main energy in Indonesia can be done by implementing several policies for the RE ***,greenhouse gas emissions and the use of petroleum fuels can be reduced.
