In this paper, based on 5 GHz indoor multi-user measurements, linear precoding schemes such as zero-forcing (ZF), minimum mean square error (MMSE) and successive interference cancelation (SIC) are applied in the base station in order to investigate the performance of virtual multi-input multi-output (MIMO) over single-user MIMO system. However, to form a virtual MIMO multi-user system, the resources of two users are brought together. In order to achieve a low spatial correlation, two spaced antennas in the MS have been chosen and four spaced antennas elements in BS have been selected. Therefore, the resources of two users (U1 and U2) are brought together to form a 4 × 4 virtual MIMO multi-user system with the BS. The properties of the user_1 (U1) and user_2 (U2) will be analyzed and compared to those properties of virtual MIMO multi-user system formed by U1 and U2. In most cases, the maximum achievable rate is seen with virtual MIMO multi-user compared to single-user MIMO. So virtual MIMO multi-user is desirable for boosting system capacity than single-user MIMO. .

Anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of the aqueous extract of the stem bark of Ceiba pentandra Gaertn (Bombacaceae) were recorded in rat and mice. Inflammation was induced by carrageenan and cotton pellet. The pain was studied using analgesymeter, Koster and hot plate Methods. Aqueous extract (400 and 800 mg/kg) of Ceiba pentandra presents a significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. Flavono?ds present in the extract seem to be responsible for the activity.

Catfishes belonging to the genus Chrysichthys are generally important fish species in inland water bodies of Africa because of their high commercial value. Among them, C. nigrodigitatus could represent, at certain periods of the year the highest biomass of the littoral ichthyofauna, accounting for 17 to 43.8% of total catches. In this paper, its diet in the hydrosystem Lake Togo-Lagoon of Aného was investigated focusing on how differences in diet and food consumption are related to size, season and sexual maturity. A total of 195 males and 137 females were sampled from January to december 2017. The digestive tract of each individual was dissected and its content was analyzed, using indexes of stomach contents analysis method. Diet variability in relation to season and biometric parameters was also studied. About 99 stomachs were empty with an overall vacuity index of 29.82%. However, vacuity index was found to vary in relation to fish size and months. The fish has been found to be omnivorous with a carnivorous tendency consuming a wide range of prey items (H = 3.34). Juvenile and adult freshwater clams (Galatea paradoxa) were the numerical dominant preys (%N = 44%) while the penaeid shrimps (Farfantepenaeus notialis) with an annual frequency of occurrence (Fo) of 49.36% and all species confused of fish (33.91%) were the most preferred preys. The index of relative importance (IRI) reveals that freshwater clam (40.49%), penaeid shrimps (35.85%) and all species confused of fish (14.58%) were the most important preys of C. nigrodigitatus. The dominance of Malacostraca and Mollusca in the diet of C. nigrodigitatus in the hydrosystem Lake Togo-Lagoon of Aného is likely one of the more important considerations for future management plans.

In this paper, we propose a determinist mathematical model for the co-circulating into two circulating recombinants forms (CRFs) Of HIV-disease in Mali. We divide the sexually active population within three compartments (susceptible, CRF-1 infected and CRF-2 or CRF-12 infected) and study the dynamical behavior of this model. Then, we define a basic reproduction number of the CRF-2 or CRF-12 infected individuals R0 and shown that the CRF-2 or CRF-12 infected-free equilibrium is locally-asymptotically stable if R0 1 (thus the CRF-2 or CRF-12 infected invade in the population). Fur-thermore, we prove that under certain conditions on the parameters of the model the controllability of CRF-2 or CRF-12 infected with regard to the CRF-1 infected. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate the results.

The purpose of this paper is to understand the valorization of gold showings in the Seribaya deposit, western Mali. Samples taken from Air Core (AC) boreholes were subjected respectively to the magnetic susceptibility test and the X-ray fluorescence analysis. These results lead to the development of a simple methodology, based on signatures/indicators geochemical to identify lithology or to locate mineralization. We note that, compared to other chemical elements, Arsenic remains the most correlated with gold in the study area. Since this correlation remains weak (r = 0.16), it shows that Arsenic does not always accompany gold. There would be a generation of Arsenic related to mineralization, and other generations that would not be. The observation of the strip logs led to the identification of the lithologies (focusing on the immobile elements, Ti, V, Cr, Y, Zr) and the establishment of the alteration profile. Highly altered levels (Saprolite ± Saprock) are characterized by the disappearance of most mobile elements. A medium to strong correlation between gold mineralization and magnetic susceptibility measurements has been observed, in some places, and at depths. These mineralized intervals typically consist of quartz veins, suggesting that they have structural control over the mineralization. Gold mineralization is believed to be related to quartz veins. In addition, gold would be in paragenesis with a generation of Arsenic hosted in coarse sediments.

The omnivorous fish species, C. nigrodigitatus feeds mainly on benthic organisms and may therefore consume contaminated food throughout its food web. This can lead to the bioaccumulation of contaminants such as trace elements in their tissues. However, fish consumption is a major pathway of human exposure to contaminants which may cause public health problems. The aim of the present study is to assess trace elements contamination in some species from the food web of C. nigrodigitatus. For this, 10 main food items of the silver catfish were collected at two sites from February to July 2017 and analyzed using an Atomic Absorption Spectrometer coupled with a hydride and cold vapour generator. The concentrations of trace elements varied greatly from one species to another and within each species. These values ranged from 0.007 mg/kg for Hg in C hippos to 354.84 mg/kg for Mn in P. fusca. The most contaminated species by trace elements were benthic organisms: M. perna (Cd, Pb, Hg), Pagurus sp. (Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn), G. paradoxa (As) and P. fusca (Mn). The average concentrations of trace elements found in species were, for the most part, above WHO standards except Hg in M. perna and G. paradoxa. The water-based bioconcentration factors (BCFw) reach 92.58 for Cd, 44.72 for Pb, 382.49 for Hg and 1514.34 for As in M. perna. It is therefore necessary to pay particular attention to this ecosystem and to put in place a better management plan.

Preliminary Research Study for Antibiotics in Eggs Produced and Sold in bamako, Mali

The quality of agri-food products, in particular those of poultry origin, has now become an imperative. Because of the antibiotics used in poultry production, we are seeing the presence of antibiotic residues in products from poultry farming, especially eggs. Residues in eggs do not always comply with regulatory requirements, which can have harmful consequences for consumers such as: risk of allergies or risk of antibiotic resistance. This study was carried out with the aim of evaluating the presence of residues of veterinary antibiotics in eggs produced and marketed in the district of bamako and surroundings. All samples were analyzed using the Premi ®Test which is a rapid detection kit for antibiotic residues in different materials. We collected 900 eggs from 10 farms and 10 markets in bamako. Out of 900 eggs, 228 were tested. One hundred and eighty-nine (189) eggs tested negative for the presence of antibiotic residues, i.e. 82.9%;on the other hand, 39 were positive, i.e. 17.1%. This study clearly shows the presence of antibiotic residues in eggs from farms and various markets in bamako and the surrounding area. This will allow us to continue our study at a later date to identify the types of antibiotic and to dose them.

Objective:To investigate the antioxidant and the antibacterial activities of crude extract from aerial part of Polygonum maritimumL.(Polygonaceae)(***)and to find new actives ***:The whole plant was collected from the Rechgoune coast(West of Algeria),and methanolic crude extract of aerial parts ***(PMCE)was *** extract was tested against different bacterial strain and tested for his ability to neutralize free radical(DPPH)and to scavenge the ***:PMCE had a very high content of total phenol,which was(352.49依18.03)mg/g dry weight,expressed as gallic acid *** exhibited excellent antioxidant activity,as measured using DPPH and H2O2 scavenging *** also showed a high antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacterial strains:Bacillus cereus,Bacillus subtilisandStaphylococcus aureus with an highest MIC of 120μg/***:The antioxidant and antibacterial activity of the PMCE is probably due to phenolic compounds present in the *** contemporary presence of antioxidant and antibacterialactivities in the PMCE suggests that this plant may be a source of bioactive substances with multifaceted activity.

Wolbachia Infection in Populations of Ostrinia furnacalis: Diversity, Prevalence, Phylogeny and Evidence for Horizontal Transmission

Wolbachia are maternally inherited endosymbiotic bacteria infecting a wide range of arthropods and filarial nematodes. They can induce various reproduction alterations in their hosts, including thelytokous parthenogenesis, cytoplasmic incompatibility （CI）, feminization of genetic males and male killing. Here we investigated diversity and prevalence patterns of Wolbachia infection in 43 geographical populations of the Asian corn borer, Ostriniafurnacalis, in China and one population in North Korea. Based on Wolbachia surface protein gene （wsp） sequences, nine strains of Wolbachia （wFurl-wFur9）, belonging to supergroups A and B, were identified in populations of O. furnacalis with an average infection rate of 10.5%. Superinfection commonly appeared in individuals of O. furnacalis and coinfection patterns were very complex. There was no specific pattern for the prevalence and distribution of the nine Wolbachia strains suggesting an intricate evolutionary history of Wolbachia infection in this species. The genetic similarity of the wFurl-wFur9 strains with those detected in two parasitoids of O. furnacalis, Macrocentrus cingulum and Lydella grisescens, strongly suggests host-parasitoid horizontal transmission.
