The Sichuan Basin(SCB),China has a high incidence of extremely persistent heavy rainfall(EPHR)*** EPHR events from 2009 to 2019 in the SCB were mainly concentrated over the northern and northwestern windward slopes and the central *** occurred from June to September,but especially in July,and peaked at 0300 ***5 reanalysis data and objective classification were used to investigate the synoptic patterns and their *** were three synoptic patterns during EPHR events,all accompanied by a Southwest *** location and intensity of the Southwest Vortex,thermal forcing of the Tibetan plateau(TP),and low-level winds can greatly affect the intensity and spatial distribution of *** the Southwest Vortex was located in the western SCB and there were southerly low-level jets(LLJs),convergence and upslope wind would lead to EPHR over the northwestern or northern windward *** there was no LLJ and the whole SCB was under the center of the Southwest Vortex,nocturnal EPHR was controlled by the internal circulation of the Southwest Vortex and the updraft generated by the thermal forcing of the TP,and the rainfall was *** southeastern entrance of the SCB was a key area where the low-level wind dominated the nocturnal peak of *** nocturnal strengthened southeasterly wind in the key area is attributable to inertial oscillation,and the topographic friction plays an essential role in transporting momentum and moisture into the basin by generating easterly and northeasterly ageostrophic winds.

The Sichuan Basin(SCB), China has a high incidence of extremely persistent heavy rainfall(EPHR) events. The EPHR events from 2009 to 2019 in the SCB were mainly concentrated over the northern and northwestern windward slopes and the central basin. They occurred from June to September, but especially in July, and peaked at 0300 LST. ERA5 reanalysis data and objective classification were used to investigate the synoptic patterns and their effects. There were three synoptic patterns during EPHR events, all accompanied by a Southwest Vortex. The location and intensity of the Southwest Vortex, thermal forcing of the Tibetan plateau(TP), and low-level winds can greatly affect the intensity and spatial distribution of EPHR. When the Southwest Vortex was located in the western SCB and there were southerly low-level jets(LLJs), convergence and upslope wind would lead to EPHR over the northwestern or northern windward slopes. If there was no LLJ and the whole SCB was under the center of the Southwest Vortex, nocturnal EPHR was controlled by the internal circulation of the Southwest Vortex and the updraft generated by the thermal forcing of the TP, and the rainfall was weaker. The southeastern entrance of the SCB was a key area where the low-level wind dominated the nocturnal peak of EPHR. The nocturnal strengthened southeasterly wind in the key area is attributable to inertial oscillation, and the topographic friction plays an essential role in transporting momentum and moisture into the basin by generating easterly and northeasterly ageostrophic winds.

Characterization of combined blast-and fragments-induced synergetic damage in polyurea coated liquid-filled container

Electrospraying Si/SiO_(x)/C and Sn/C nanosphere arrays on carbon cloth for high-performance flexible lithium-ion batteries

Exploring electrode materials with larger capacity,higher power density and longer cycle life was critical for developing advanced flexible lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Herein,we used a controlled two-step method including electrospraying followed with calcination treatment by CVD furnace to design novel electrodes of Si/Si_(x)/C and Sn/C microrods array consisting of nanospheres on flexible carbon cloth substrate(denoted as Si/Si_(x)/C@CC,Sn/C@CC).Microrods composed of cumulated nanospheres(the diameter was approximately 120 nm)had a mean diameter of approximately 1.5μm and a length of around 4.0μm,distributing uniformly along the entire woven carbon *** of Si/Si/Si_(x)/C@CC and Sn/C@CC products were synthesized as binder-free anodes for Li-ion battery with the features of high reversible capacity and excellent *** Si/Six/C electrode exhibited high specific capacity of about 1750 mA∙h∙g^(−1)at 0.5 A∙g^(−1)and excellent cycling ability even after 1050 cycles with a capacity of 1388 mA∙h∙g^(−1).Highly flexible Si/Si_(x)/C@CC//LiCoO_(2)batteries based on liquid and solid electrolytes were also fabricated,exhibiting high flexibility,excellent electrical stability and potential applications in flexible wearable electronics.

Linear Forgery Attacks on the Authenticated Encryption Cipher ACORN-Like

The authenticated encryption stream cipher ACORN is one of the finalists of the Competition for Authenticated Encryption: Security, Applicability, and Robustness（CAESAR） and is intended for lightweight applications. Because of structural weaknesses in the state update function of ACORN, we can introduce a linear function to analyze conditions and differential trails of the state collision and present a linear method to construct forgery messages under the condition that the key and initialization vector are known or the register state at a certain time is known. The attack method is suitable for three versions of ACORN and may be also extended to any ACORN-like,of which the linear feedback shift register（LFSR） can be replaced by other LFSRs and the feedback function can be replaced by other nonlinear functions. For continuous l（l > 293） bits of new input data, we can construct 2l-294forgery messages for any given message of ACORN. Using a standard personal computer, a concrete forgery message can be constructed almost instantly and the required central processing unit time and memory are equivalent to the required resources for solving a system of 293 linear equations over the binary field. These attacks in this paper make that the sender and receiver may easily cheat each other, which is not a desirable property for an ideal cipher and casts some doubt on the necessary authentication security requirements of ACORN.

It has been reported that the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway plays a key role in the pathogenesis of ischemic *** a result,the development of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway has attracted increasing attention from *** article reviews the pathological mechanisms and advancements in research related to the signaling pathways in ischemic stroke,with a focus on the PI3K/AKT signaling *** key findings include the following:(1)The complex pathological mechanisms of ischemic stroke can be categorized into five major types:excitatory amino acid toxicity,Ca^(2+)overload,inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and apoptosis.(2)The PI3K/AKT-mediated signaling pathway is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of ischemic stroke,which primarily involves the NF-κB,NRF2,BCL-2,mTOR,and endothelial NOS signaling pathways.(3)Natural products,including flavonoids,quinones,alkaloids,phenylpropanoids,phenols,terpenoids,and iridoids,show great potential as candidate substances for the development of innovative anti-stroke medications.(4)Recently,novel therapeutic techniques,such as electroacupuncture and mesenchymal stem cell therapy,have demonstrated the potential to improve stroke outcomes by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,providing new possibilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ischemic *** investigations should focus on the direct regulatory mechanisms of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and their clinical translation to develop innovative treatment strategies for ischemic stroke.

Objective:To investigate the protective effects of stir-fried Semen Armeniacae Amarum(SAA)against aristolochic acidⅠ(AAⅠ)-induced nephrotoxicity and DNA adducts and elucidate the underlying mechanism involved for ensuring the safe use of Asari Radix et ***:In vitro,HEK293T cells overexpressing Flag-tagged multidrug resistance-associated protein 3(MRP3)were constructed by Lentiviral transduction,and inhibitory effect of top 10 common pairs of medicinal herbs with Asari Radix et Rhizoma in clinic on MRP3 activity was verified using a self-constructed fluorescence screening *** m RNA,protein expressions,and enzyme activity levels of NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 1(NQO1)and cytochrome P4501A2(CYP1A2)were measured in differentiated Hepa RG *** toxicity after inhibition of AAⅠmetabolite transport was detected using cell counting kit-8 *** vivo,C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into 5 groups according to a random number table,including:control(1%sodium bicarbonate),AAⅠ(10 mg/kg),stir-fried SAA(1.75 g/kg)and AAⅠ+stir-fried SAA(1.75 and 8.75 g/kg)groups,6 mice in each *** 7 days of continuous gavage administration,liver and kidney damages were assessed,and the protein expressions and enzyme activity of liver metabolic enzymes NQO1 and CYP1A2 were determined ***:In vivo,combination of 1.75 g/kg SAA and 10 mg/kg AAⅠsuppressed AAⅠ-induced nephrotoxicity and reduced d A-ALI formation by 26.7%,and these detoxification effects in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.01).Mechanistically,SAA inhibited MRP3 transport in vitro,downregulated NQO1 expression in vivo,increased CYP1A2 expression and enzymatic activity in vitro and in vivo,respectively(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Notably,SAA also reduced AAⅠ-induced hepatotoxicity throughout the detoxification process,as indicated by a 41.3%reduction in the number of liver adducts(P<0.01).Conclusions:Stirfried SAA is a novel drug candidate for the suppression of AAⅠ-induced liver and kidney dam
