水土流失是当今我国乃至世界性的头号土地生态环境问题,它已成为广大山区可持续土地利用的最大障碍和主导性制约因素。未来土地利用的主要方向是可持续土地利用,水土流失山区可持续土地利用有着特殊的内涵。本文以水土流失极其严重的全国生态建设重点区域——云南金沙江流域为研究区域,对水土保持型可持续土地利用规划的基本内涵、原则和重点内容进行了初步探讨,并制定了该流域水土保持型可持续土地利用规划的战略指导思想、基本方针、主要目标、规划方案和实施措施。

The primary challenge of the contemporary world is to meet accelerating requirements for *** land,competition between crop and livestock farming and climate change are major *** offer a form of sustainable agriculture through the direct provision of food by raising farmers’incomes and through various ecosystem *** first essential step in adopting agroforestry is the selection of appropriate tree species that fit local *** this paper,we mapped 20 fodder trees and important crops in China using the multi-model ensemble and Ecocrop modelling *** on the intersectional concept of set theory,the fuzzy logic technique was applied to identify regions where candidate trees could be grown with appropriate crops and *** resulting models provide important insights into the climatic suitability of trees and crops and offer knowledge critical to the proper integration of trees with crops and livestock at specific *** results offer support for developing appropriate strategies regarding potential land-use within agroforestry systems in order to maximize ecosystem services and the benefits of sustainable *** outputs could easily convert into conventional maps with clearly defined boundaries for site-specific planning for tree-crop-livestock *** next step for actualizing an integrated system is to investigate specifically what these different species may contribute to the existing farming systems,quantify the benefits and estimate any possible tradeoffs.

Objective To explore the prescribing patterns of outpatients receiving antibiotics for upper respiratory tract infections(URTIs)in rural Western China and to identify the correlation in terms of doctors and patients *** Totally 7 678 prescriptions for URTIs were collected from 680 primary health village clinics of 40 counties across 10 provinces of Western *** outcome variables were used in the analysis:the occurrence of prescribing at least one antibiotic drug for an URTI and the occurrence of prescribing two or more antibiotics for an *** logistic regression models were used to examine the socioeconomic and demographic determinants of the above two outcome *** The percentage of prescribing at least one antibiotic for URTIs was 48.6% while the percentage of prescribing antibiotic combination(two or more antibiotics)was 4.6%.The two measurements of antibiotic utilization differed remarkably among the 10 *** diagnosed with tonsillitis and faucitis had higher odds(OR=8.86 for tonsillitis and OR=4.64 for faucitis)of antibiotic prescription than patients with other diagnosis of *** with tonsillitis and faucitis also had higher odds(OR=3.82 for tonsillitis and OR=2.71 for faucitis)of multiple antibiotic prescription than those with other diagnosis of *** number of drugs per prescription and injection in prescriptions were also significant predictors of antibiotic and multiple antibiotic utilization for *** It is concluded that the percentage of antibiotic prescription for URTIs is higher in rural Western China than in most of other countries with available data and that prescriptions of antibiotics for URTIs are associated with residence regions of patients,URTI diagnosis and background information on drug prescription.

Does Hepatitis E Virus Need to Be Considered as a Re-Emerging Problem in Both Industrialized and Developing Countries?

Hepatitis E caused by the Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) is a liver disease resulting in over 20 million cases every year. Hepatitis E is now considered by some scientists as an emerging issue as HEV is not only prevalent in developing countries but is increasingly detected in industrialized nations. In this paper, we try to provide evidence for this notion and what actions may need to be implemented to prevent further spreading of HEV. The prevalence of HEV, including its distinct genotype distribution in different geographic regions (including both developing countries and industrialized countries) will be discussed;further discussions of HEV treatments will include the availability and the mechanism of HEV vaccines and antiviral treatments used to treat and contain the disease. Additionally, the prevention and spreading of Hepatitis E disease will be discussed in the later section of the paper. With the presentation of HEV transmission route, infection regions, and treatment, we aim to raise the awareness of the general public toward this liver disease and discuss whether the high prevalence disease is an emerging disease worldwide. According to the data we collected, the rate of HEV infection is high and shows a trend of increasing, which leads to our conclusion and proves our hypothesis that Hepatitis E is a re-emerging disease.

The united nations Millennium Development Goals(MDGs)of 2015 sought to eradicate major problems facing the *** states ratifying these goals were tasked to formulate and institute policies aimed at addressing the global economic,political,social,and environmental *** major goals sought to address fundamental issues on poverty,universal education,and gender *** MDGs were succeeded by the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)which are targeted to be achieved by *** intersectionality of the development goals and education cannot be *** has been identified as a key strategy for addressing poverty,hunger,and gender *** several countries ratified the MDGs,most did not achieve the goals by 2015.A shift in policy is necessary to close the achievement gap and to help the eff orts for achieving the 2030 *** paper addresses Zimbabwe’s progress towards the *** on key indicators of quality education,poverty,and inequality of opportunities is ***,the paper suggests a rights-based education programming framework to help accelerate achievement of the SDGs.
