The temperature difference between the exposed surface of an underground silo and the surrounding soil surface is significant,which means a silo can be easily found by infrared *** designed an infrared camouflage cloak consisting of an imitative layer and an insulation layer for the *** imitative layer is used to imitate the thermal response of the soil to the surrounding *** insulation layer is used to weaken the impact of the internal temperature field of the silo on the lower boundary of the imitative layer.A silo model including surrounding soil and a soil model without silo were established,and the influences of the material and thickness of each layer on the infrared camouflage effect were *** results show that when using a silicone rubber containing alumina powder with a volume fraction of 3.18% as the imitative material,its thermal inertia is in consistent with that of the ***,it was found that the thickness of the imitative layer doesn't need to be greater than its thermal penetration depth to achieve the infrared camouflage,and the absence of the insulation layer will cause hot spots on the silo surface in winter to weaken the camouflage *** optimized thicknesses of the imitative layer and the insulation layer are 22 cm and 4 cm re *** simulations indicate that with the application of the cloak,the maximum value of the absolute values of the temperature differences between the average temperatures of the silo surface and the surrounding soil surface temperatures drops from 1,59℃ to 0.31℃ in summer and from 1.92℃ to 0.21℃ in *** designed cloak can achieve an all-weather and full-time passive infrared camouflage.

Mountain forests are managed for various purposes. Of these, recreation, leisure, and ecotourism are increasingly gaining prominence. Yet, with the development of new techniques for creating and managing urban forests, the perception of the public with regard to mountain forests and such urban forests is narrowing. For the purpose of this study, eight mountain forests and urban forests located in Zurich(Switzerland), Vienna(Austria) and Freiburg(Germany) were shortlisted. These places are renowned for their well-functioning management of mountain forests and creation of urban forests. As the study was to focus on the comparison of the perceptions of visitors in terms of their satisfaction in urban and mountain forests, the interview covered the following questions:(i) how satisfactory was the nature experience;(ii) how satisfactory were the outdoor recreational activities;(iii) whether the nature experiences influenced the mental and physical health of visitors. Responses thus received for each of the mountain forests and urban forests were assessed, with the total number of respondents being 247. Tourists visiting the selected areas were randomly chosen for a one-on-one interview survey. Results of the survey show that there is a clear perceptions of visitors differed between urban and mountain forests. However, the gap is insignificant or almost nonexistent with respect to satisfaction level of outdoor recreational activities and health benefits. These results are contrary to the findings of previous studies, which argued that the natural landscape of mountain areas is superior to other artificially built green spaces. Visitors did not perceive significant differences in outdoor recreational activities and health effects between the two spaces.

Microstructural Evolution of Nb–V–Mo and V Containing TRIP-assisted Steels during Thermomechanical Processing

The microstructural evolution and precipitation behaviour of Nb–V–Mo and single V containing transformation induced plasticity assisted steels were investigated during thermomechanical processing. A plane strain compression testing machine was used to simulate the thermomechanical processing. Microstructures were characterised by optical microscopy, scanning-transmission electron microscopy and microanalysis, and X-ray diffraction analysis, and Vickers hardness was obtained from the deformed specimens. The resulting microstructure of both Nb–V–Mo and V steels at room temperature primarily consisted of an acicular/bainitic ferrite, retained austenite and martensite surrounded by allotriomorphic *** TEM analysis showed that a significant number of Nb（V,Mo）（C,N） precipitates were formed in the microstructure down to the finishing stage in Nb–V–Mo steel（i.e. 830℃）. It was also found that the V（C,N）precipitation primarily occurred in both ferrite and deformed austenite below the finishing stage. The results suggested that Nb–Mo additions considerably increased the temperature stability of microalloy precipitates and controlled the microstructural evolution of austenite. However, the microalloy precipitation did not cause a significant precipitation strengthening in both Nb–V–Mo and V steels at room temperature.

AIM:The effects of cobalt,copper,cadmium and barium ions on the cysts of Entamoeba histolyt/ca (E,histolytica), an amebic dysentery agent,cultured in Robinson medium were investigated. METHODS:*** cysts and trophozoites isolated from a patient with amebiasis were cultivated in the medium, incubated at 37℃ for a period of 4 days and 40×10~4/ml amebic cysts were then transferred to a fresh *** the second stage,0.05,0.1 and 0.2 mM of selected metal ions were added to the medium,and the effects of these ions on parasitic reproduction compared with the control group were observed. RESULTS:It was determined that the number of living parasites in all the groups containing metal ions decreased significantly starting from 30 minutes (P<0.01).CuCl_2 showed the highest lethal effect on *** cysts,whereas the lowest lethal effect was observed with CoCl_*** was also seen that the number of living cells was decreased as the ion concentration and exposure time were increased,and that there were no living parasites in the medium at the end of 24 h (P<0.01). CONCLUSION:It may be stated that the effect of ever- increasing contamination of the environment with metal waste materials on parasites should be investigated further.

In social tagging systems such as Delicious and Flickr,users collaboratively manage tags to annotate ***,a social tagging system can be modeled as a （user,tag,resource） hypernetwork,where there are three different types of nodes,namely users,resources and tags,and each hyperedge has three end nodes,connecting a user,a resource and a tag that the user employs to annotate the *** how can we automatically cluster related users,resources and tags,respectively？ This is a problem of community detection in a 3-partite,3-uniform *** generally,given a K-partite K-uniform （hyper）network,where each （hyper）edge is a K-tuple composed of nodes of K different types,how can we automatically detect communities for nodes of different types？ In this paper,by turning this problem into a problem of finding an efficient compression of the （hyper）network＇s structure,we propose a quality function for measuring the goodness of partitions of a K-partite K-uniform （hyper）network into communities,and develop a fast community detection method based on *** method overcomes the limitations of state of the art techniques and has several desired properties such as comprehensive,parameter-free,and *** compare our method with existing methods in both synthetic and real-world datasets.

Prussian blue (PB) modified carbon felt electrodes were prepared. The electrochemical behavior was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and charge-discharge experiments. In order to distinguish the mechanism of the PB modified carbon felt electrode, the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) was employed. The results of cyclic voltammetry show that the modification can improve the reversibility and the suitable PB deposition is the amount of 10 circles deposition. PB modified carbon felt electrode can effectively decrease the charge transfer resistance. The voltage efficiency of VRB employing PB modified carbon felt electrode can be increased by 12%. The mass change of the PB modified Pt crystal electrode in the process of the potential scan is obvious. The reaction of substitution of VO2+ for high-spin Fe ion in PB is probable to happen and the possible reaction equation is given. The preliminary exploration shows that PB modified carbon felt is electrochemically promising for redox flow battery.

Propagation of Gauss-Bessel beams in turbulent atmosphere

This paper studies the propagation properties of Gauss-Bessel beams in a turbulent atmosphere. Based on the extended Huygens-Fresnel principle, it derives the intensity distribution expression for such beams propagating in a turbulent atmosphere. Then the influence of turbulence and source beam parameters on the beam propagation is studied in great detail. It finds that the intensity distribution of Gauss-Bessel beams will change into Gaussian profile in a turbulent atmosphere, and that stronger turbulence and smaller topological charges will lead to a faster changing.
