Link Prediction Method Fusion with Local structural Entropy for Directed Network

Link prediction utilizes accessible network information to complement or predict the network *** is an important prerequisite for link prediction which means links more likely occurs between two similar nodes. Existing methods utilize the similarity of nodes but neglect of network structure. However the link direction leads to a far more complex structure and contains more information useful than the undirected networks. Most classic methods are difficult to depict the distribution of the network structure with incidental direction so the similarity characteristics of the network structure itself are lost. In this respect, a new method of local structure entropy is proposed to depict the directed structural distribution characteristics, which can be used to evaluate the degree of local structural similarity of nodes and then applied to link prediction methods. Experimental results on 8 real directed networks show that this method is effective for both area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)and ranking-score measures, and improved predictive capacity of the baseline methodology.

Modeling and analysis of pointing error for non-landing vehicle-mounted photoelectric theodolite

In order to achieve high accuracy measurement for non-landing vehicle-mounted photoelectric theodolite(NVPT) with continuous zoom optical system, a theoretical model of pointing error is presented. starting with the working mode, the error source of the whole closed loop which affects the pointing error is analyzed. The measurement equation is derived using a coordinate transformation. The pointing error model is then obtained with the help of Monte Carlo method. The error of an NVPT prototype is measured, showing that the pointing error can be predicted accurately. A high precision NVPT with continuous zoom optical system is successfully designed and analyzed, with an accuracy of 11.9″ at azimuth and 10.9″ at elevation, when the optical focal length is set between 1 000 mm and 4 000 mm.

BACKGROUND:Heatstroke has become a common emergency event in ***(PCT)is used as a biomarker of infection in the emergency department(ED),but its role in rhabdomyolysis(RM)following exertional heatstroke(EHs)remains ***:A retrospective cohort study enrolled patients with EHs from the intensive care unit(ICU).We collected RM biomarkers,inflammation markers,critical disease scores at admission,24 h,48 h,and discharge,and 90-day *** analysis,linear regression and curve fi tting were used to identify the relationship between PCT and ***:A total of 162 patients were recruited and divided into RM(n=56)and non-RM(n=106)*** was positively correlated with myoglobin(Mb),acute hepatic injury,disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC),sequential Organ Failure Assessment(sOFA)score,and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE II)score,with correlation coefficients of 0.214,0.237,0.285,0.454,and 0.368,respectively(all Pstingly,the results of curve fi tting revealed a nonlinear relationship between PCT and RM,and a two-piecewise linear regression model showed that PCT was related to RM with an odds ratio of 1.3 and a cut-off ofsis revealed that RM was associated with higher mortality compared to non-RM cases(P=0.0093).CONCLUsION:High serum PCT concentrations are associated with RM after EHs in critically ill *** PCT concentrations should be interpreted cautiously in patients with EHs in the ED.

As the search for effective treatments for COVID-19 continues,the high mortality rate among critically ill patients in Intensive Care units(ICU)presents a profound *** study explores the potential benefits of traditional chinese medicine(TCM)as a supplementary treatment for severe COVID-19.A total of 110 critically ill COVID-19 patients at the Intensive Care unit(ICU)of Vulcan Hill Hospital between Feb.,2020,and April,2020(Wuhan,China)participated in this observational *** patients received standard supportive care protocols,with a subset of 81 also receiving TCM as an adjunct *** characteristics during the treatment period and the clinical outcome of each patient were closely monitored and *** findings indicated that the TCM group exhibited a significantly lower mortality rate compared with the non-TCM group(16 of 81 vs 24 of 29;0.3 vs 2.3 person/month).In the adjusted Cox proportional hazards models,TCM treatment was associated with improved survival odds(Psis also revealed that TCM treatment could partially mitigate inflammatory responses,as evidenced by the reduced levels of proinflammatory cytokines,and contribute to the recovery of multiple organic functions,thereby potentially increasing the survival rate of critically ill COVID-19 patients.
