Introduction:Over the last 12 years,there has been a consistent decline in the cases of typhoid/paratyphoid fever in *** the epidemiological patterns of these diseases in various provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)and examining potential influencing factors can provide crucial information for implementing successful control ***:In this study,we analyzed the cases and incidence rates of typhoid/paratyphoid fever reported in various PLADs of China from 2011 to 2022,along with exploring potential influencing *** initially studied spatial shifts in the incidence rates through centroid shift *** variations in typhoid/paratyphoid fever onset were examined using *** autocorrelation analysis was utilized to understand the spatial correlations among different *** assess potential factors,we utilized a generalized estimating equations model that integrated spatial lag effects and sequence comparison ***:The study identified significant geographical clustering of typhoid/paratyphoid fever cases in southwestern China.A decrease in incidence rates in the west resulted in a movement of the disease center towards the *** incidence occurred during warmer seasons,highlighting the seasonal pattern of the *** such as meteorological conditions and socioeconomic status were probable influencers of typhoid/paratyphoid ***:The geographical and temporal spread of typhoid/paratyphoid fever can be impacted by meteorological and socioeconomic *** economic conditions,particularly in regions with high disease prevalence,could aid in the prevention and management of these fevers.

Real-world study(RWS)gained prominence starting with a significant investigation on ramipril’s impact on hypertension in 1993(1).A key advancement for the Food and Drug Administration(FDA)occurred with the enactment of the 21st Century Cures Act in 2016,emphasizing RWS(2).The FDA’s Real-world Evidence Program establishes real-world data(RWD)as“data relating to patient health status and/or the delivery of health care routinely collected from a variety of sources”,while real-world evidence(RWE)is“clinical evidence about the usage and potential benefits or risks of a medical product derived from analysis of RWD”(3).The proliferation of big data,electronic medical records(EMR),electronic health records(EHR),and medical claims data offers vast information resources facilitating *** access to RWD allows for worldwide monitoring of the impacts of various public health initiatives like vaccination *** randomized clinical trials(RCTs)traditionally gauge vaccine efficacy and shortterm safety,RWS can assess vaccine performance and safety across larger,more diverse populations and are adept at identifying rare events not easily discernible in RCTs due to their infrequency.

Objective Genotypes(G)1,3,and 5 of the Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)have been isolated in China,but the dominant genotype circulating in Chinese coastal areas remains *** searched for G5 JEV-infected cases and attempted to elucidate which JEV genotype was most closely related to human Japanese encephalitis(JE)in the coastal provinces of *** In this study,we collected serum specimens from patients with JE in three coastal provinces of China(Guangdong,Zhejiang,and Shandong)from 2018 to 2020 and conducted JEV cross-neutralization tests against G1,G3,and *** Acute serum specimens from clinically reported JE cases were obtained for laboratory confirmation from hospitals in Shandong(92 patients),Zhejiang(192 patients),and Guangdong(77 patients),China,from 2018 to *** of the 361 serum specimens were laboratory-confirmed to be infected with *** cases were confirmed to be infected with G1 JEV,32 with G3 JEV,and two with G5 *** G3 was the primary infection genotype among JE cases with a definite infection genotype,and the infection caused by G5 JEV was confirmed serologically in China.

In 2022,a global outbreak of Mpox(formerly monkeypox)occurred in various countries across Europe and America and rapidly spread to more than 100 countries and *** World Health Organization declared the outbreak to be a public health emergency of international concern due to the rapid spread of the Mpox ***,nations intensified their efforts to explore treatment strategies aimed at combating the infection and its ***,the available therapeutic options for Mpox virus infection remain *** far,only a few numbers of antiviral compounds have been approved by regulatory *** the high mutability of the Mpox virus,certain mutant strains have shown resistance to existing pharmaceutical *** highlights the urgent need to develop novel antiviral drugs that can combat both drug resistance and the potential threat of ***,there is a lack of comprehensive literature on the pathophysiology and treatment of *** address this issue,we conducted a review covering the physiological and pathological processes of Mpox infection,summarizing the latest progress of anti-Mpox *** analysis encompasses approved drugs currently employed in clinical settings,as well as newly identified small-molecule compounds and antibody drugs displaying potential antiviral efficacy against ***,we have gained valuable insights from the process of Mpox drug development,including strategies for repurposing drugs,the discovery of drug targets driven by artificial intelligence,and preclinical drug *** purpose of this review is to provide readers with a comprehensive overview of the current knowledge on Mpox.

Hirschsprung's disease(HsCR)is the most common type of developmental gastrointestinal malformation causing intestinal obstruction in children,with an incidence of 1/5000 in live births.1 it is characterized by the absence of intrinsic ganglion cells in the myenteric and submucosal plexuses of the distal gastrointestinal tract,leading to the dysregulation of smooth muscle contraction/relaxation and resulting in intestinal *** on the length of the aganglionic intestine,HSCR can be categorized into short-segmental HSCR(S-HSCR),which affects up to the sigmoid colon from the anus,and long-segmental HSCR(LHSCR),which affects beyond the sigmoid colon.1 In some rare conditions,aganglionic lesions can affect the full length of the colon or even the whole intestine.
