Objective: To explore the possibility of repairi ng long segmental bone defects and preventing infection with cefazolin loaded bo ne matrix gelatin (C-BMG).Methods: C-BMG was made from putting cefazolin into BMG by vac uum absorption and lyophilization techniques. The sustaining period of effective drug concentration in vitro and in vivo was detected. The time of inhibiting ba cteria,and the drug concentration in local tissues (bone and muscle) and plasma after implantation of C-BMG were examined by high performance liquid chromatog raphy. Results: The effective inhibition time to staphylococcus aureus of C-BMG was 22 days in vitro; while 14 days in vivo. The cefazolin concentrat ion in local tissues was higher in early stage,and later it kept a stable and l ow drug release. C-BMG showed an excellent ability to repair segmental long bon e ***: C-BMG can gradually release cefazolin with effect ive drug concentration and has excellent ability to repair segmental bone defect s. It can be used to repair segmental long bone defects and prevent infection af ter operation.

A novel Ce-Y/SBA-15 catalyst was prepared by modifying HY/SBA-15 microporous-mesoporous composite molecular sieve with cerium using the impregnation method. The characterization results from scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray dispersive spectroscopy（SEM/EDS）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, and X-ray fluorescence（XRF） studies indicated that the Ce-modified catalyst maintained the microporous-mesoporous structure of Y/SBA-15. The Ce ions were found to be uniformly dispersed in the pores of the molecular sieve without aggregation. The results from pyrolysis coupled-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（Pyridine-FTIR） and temperature programmed desorption of ammonia（NH3-TPD） showed that the loading of cerium caused the hydroxyl group in the catalyst to display stronger Bronsted acidity. The efficiency of the modified Ce-Y/SBA-15 catalyst was evaluated by using it to catalyze the synthesis of n-butyl acetate. The optimal synthesis conditions were determined by orthogonal experiments. The highest esterification yield of 94.4% was obtained when the reaction time was 2.0 h, with acid/alcohol molar ratio of 1：1.2, and catalyst loading of 10 wt.%. The results in this study demonstrated that the loading of cerium and the structure of Y/SBA-15 microporous-mesoporous composite molecular sieve helped in improving the catalytic activity of this acidic catalyst.

A daily distributed hydrological model was developed using routine hydro meteorological data on the basis of the raster DEM and land cover data. Then the model was used to model daily runoff of the Datong River Valley located in the upper catchment of the Yellow River Basin. The runoff comprises surface flow, subsurface flow and ground water flow. Evapotranspiration comprises canopy evaporation, snow sublimation and soil evapotranspiration. The infiltration to the soil was estimated with improved Green-Ampt model, and the potential evapotranspiration is estimated with Morton CRAE method, which only needs the routine meteorological data. Simulation results and the comparison with semi distributed SLURP hydrological model show that the structure of the model presented herein is reasonable.

A solar-blind multi-quantum well(MQW)structure wafer based on AlGaN materials is epitaxial growth by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD).The monolithically integrated photonic chips including light-emitting diodes(LEDs),waveguides,and photodetec-tors(PDs)are *** results of the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)simulation confirm the strong light constraint of the wave-guide designed with the triangular structure in the optical coupling ***,in virtue of predominant ultraviolet transverse mag-netic(TM)modes,the solar blind optical signal is more conducive to lateral transmission along the waveguide inside the integrated *** integrated PDs demonstrate sufficient photosensitivity to the optical signal from the integrated *** the LEDs are operated at 100 mA current,the photo-to-dark current ratio(PDCR)of the integrated PD is about seven orders of *** responsivity,specific detectivity,and external quantum efficiency of the integrated self-driven PD are 74.89 A/W,4.22×1013 Jones,and 3.38×104%,*** stable on-chip optical information transmission capability of the monolithically integrated photonic chips confirms the great potential for application in large-scale on-chip optical communication in the future.

The characteristics of the confined bubble and elongated bubble in subcooled flow boiling in a single horizontal rectangular microchannel with hydraulic diameter Dh=1mm are studied experimentally. The channel with 1 ×1mm cross section is fabricated in a thin copper plate whose confinement number is Co=2.8 and the degassed deionized water is used as the working fluid. Visualization on the confined and elongated bubbles inside the microchannel is carded out by employing a high-speed CCD camera with a rnicrolens. The recorded images are carefully analyzed to illustrate the behaviors of the confinement and elongation processes of the bubble. The boiling number is used as an adjustable parameter to regulate the operating conditions which is eventually found to take a vital role in the bubble elongation process. Two formation patterns of the confined and elongated bubble are identified and the interactions between the neighboring confined and elongated bubbles are elucidated.

AIM To investigate whether immune mediated diseases(IMD) are more frequent in patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).METHODS In this population based registry study,a total of 47325 patients with IBD were alive and registered in the Danish National Patient Registry on December 16,2013. Controls were randomly selected from the Danish Civil Registration System(CRS) and matched for sex,age,and municipality. We used ICD 10 codes to identify the diagnoses of the included patients. The IBD population was divided into three subgroups: Ulcerative colitis(UC),Crohn's disease(CD) and Both the latter referring to those registered with both diagnoses. Subsequently,odds-ratios(OR) and 95%CI were obtained separately for each group and their respective controls. The use of Bonferoni post-test correction adjusted the significance level to P < 0.00125. P-values were estimated using Fisher's exact *** There were significantly more women than men in the registry,and a greater percentage of comorbidity in the IBD groups(P < 0.05). Twenty different IMDs were all significantly more frequent in the IBD group. Sixteen were associated with UC versus twelve with CD. In both UC and CD ORs were significantly increased(P < 0.00125) for primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC),celiac disease,type 1 diabetes(T1D),sarcoidosis,asthma,iridocyclitis,psoriasis,pyoderma gangrenosum,rheumatoid arthritis,and ankylosing spondylitis. Restricted to UC(P < 0.00125) were autoimmune hepatitis,primary biliary cholangitis,Grave's disease,polymyalgia rheumatica,temporal arteritis,and atrophic gastritis. Restricted to CD(P < 0.00125) were psoriatic arthritis and episcleritis. Restricted to women with UC(P < 0.00125) were atrophic gastritis,rheumatoid arthritis,temporal arteritis,and polymyalgia rheumatica. Restricted to women with CD were episcleritis,rheumatoid arthritis,and psoriatic arthritis. The only disease restricted to men(P < 0.00125) was sarcoidosis. A hybrid control system is composed of three boxes which are analogous box, digital time box and decision maker box. A hierarchical structure of decision maker in hybrid control systems is presented in this paper, which is that decision maker consists of two components, i.e., policy decision and coordination. Policy decision can design coordination and digital time box. And policy decision consists of two parts, i.e., steady policy decision and transient policy decision. In general,steady policy decision corresponds to steady requirements and transient policy decision corresponds to transient requirements in systems. A chemical concentration control system severs an illustrative example to show the features of the hierarchical decision maker.
