In the medical profession,recent technological advancements play an essential role in the early detection and categorization of many diseases that cause *** technique rising on daily basis for detecting illness in magnetic resonance through pictures is the inspection of ***(computerized)illness detection in medical imaging has found you the emergent region in several medical diagnostic *** diseases that cause death need to be identiﬁed through such techniques and technologies to overcome the mortality *** brain tumor is one of the most common causes of *** have already proposed various models for the classiﬁcation and detection of tumors,each with its strengths and weaknesses,but there is still a need to improve the classiﬁcation process with improved efﬁ***,in this study,we give an in-depth analysis of six distinct machine learning(ML)algorithms,including Random Forest(RF),Naïve Bayes(NB),Neural Networks(NN),CN2 Rule Induction(CN2),Support Vector Machine(SVM),and Decision Tree(Tree),to address this gap in improving *** the Kaggle dataset,these strategies are tested using classiﬁcation accuracy,the area under the Receiver Operating Characteristic(ROC)curve,precision,recall,and F1 Score(F1).The training and testing process is strengthened by using a 10-fold cross-validation *** results show that SVM outperforms other algorithms,with 95.3%accuracy.

BACKGROUND:Computed tomography(CT)is a noninvasive imaging approach to assist the early diagnosis of ***,coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)shares similar imaging features with other types of pneumonia,which makes differential diagnosis *** intelligence(AI)has been proven successful in the medical imaging field,which has helped disease ***,whether AI can be used to identify the severity of COVID-19 is still ***:Data were extracted from 140 patients with confirmed *** severity of COVID-19 patients(severe ***-severe)was defined at admission,according to American Thoracic Society(ATS)guidelines for community-acquired pneumonia(CAP).The AI-CT rating system constructed by Hangzhou YITU Healthcare Technology Co.,*** used as the analysis tool to analyze chest CT ***:A total of 117 diagnosed cases were enrolled,with 40 severe cases and 77 non-severe *** patients had more dyspnea symptoms on admission(12 vs.3),higher acute physiology and chronic health evaluation(APACHE)II(9 vs.4)and sequential organ failure assessment(SOFA)(3 vs.1)scores,as well as higher CT semiquantitative rating scores(4 vs.1)and AI-CT rating scores than non-severe patients(P<0.001).The AI-CT score was more predictive of the severity of COVID-19(AUC=0.929),and ground-glass opacity(GGO)was more predictive of further intubation and mechanical ventilation(AUC=0.836).Furthermore,the CT semiquantitative score was linearly associated with the AI-CT rating system(Adj R2=75.5%,P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS:AI technology could be used to evaluate disease severity in COVID-19 *** it could not be considered an independent factor,there was no doubt that GGOs displayed more predictive value for further mechanical ventilation.

High Resolution SAR Image Algorithm with Sample Length Constraints for the Range Direction

The traditional Range Doppler(RD)algorithm is unable to meet practical needs owing to the limit of *** order of fractional Fourier Transform(FrFT)and the length of sampling signals affect SAR imaging performance when FrFT is applied to RD *** overcome the above shortcomings,the purpose of this paper is to propose a high-resolution SAR image algorithm by using the optimal order of FrFT and the sample length constraints for the range *** expression of the optimal order of SAR range signals via FrFT is deduced in *** initial sample length and its constraints are proposed to obtain the best sample length of SAR range *** results demonstrate that,when the range sampling-length changes in a certain interval,the best sampling-length will be obtained,which the best values of the range resolution,PSLR and ISLR,will be derived *** with traditional RD algorithm,the main-lobe width of the peak-point target of the proposed algorithm is narrow in the range *** the peak amplitude of the first side-lobe is reduced significantly,those of other side-lobes also drop in various degrees.

The propagation of magnetoacoustic waves in the solar atmosphere consisting of the photosphere, chromosphere and corona has been studied numerically by time-dependent multi-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulation. Pressure disturbances are introduced at the bottom of the chromosphere and at the bottom of the corona, respectively. The computational results show that incurred fast and slow MHD waves propagate away from the source of the disturbances. The fast MHD wave propagates as an expansive wave in the radial direction, while the slow one steepens and it may evolve into a slow shock. We suggest that the extreme ultraviolet imaging telescope wave observed by the SOHO and Moreton wave are a fast MHD wave propagating in the corona and in the chromosphere, respectively.

Primary liver cancer is the fifth most common malignancy in men and the eighth in women worldwide. The liver is also the second most common site for metastatic spread of cancer. To assist in the diagnosis of these liver lesions non-invasive advanced imaging techniques are desirable. Magnetic resonance (MR) is commonly used to identify anatomical lesions, but it is a very versatile technique and also can provide specific information on tumor pathophysiology and metabolism, in particular with the application of MR spectroscopy (MRS). This may include data on the type, grade and stage of tumors, and thus assist in further management of the disease. The purpose of this review is to summarize and discuss the available literature on proton, phosphorus and carbon-13-MRS as performed on primary liver tumors and metastases, with human applications as the main perspective. Upcoming MRSapproaches with potential applications to liver tumors are also included. Since knowledge of some technical background is indispensable to understand the results, a basic introduction of MRS and some technical issues of MRS as applied to tumors and metastases in the liver are described as well. In vivo MR spectroscopy of tumors in a metabolically active organ such as the liver has been demonstrated to provide important information on tumor metabolism, but it also is challenging as compared to applications on some other tissues, in particular in humans, mostly because of its abdominal location where movement may be a disturbing factor.

Arthrodesis of the sacroiliac joint（SIJ） for surgical treatment of SIJ dysfunction has regained interest among spine *** techniques described in the literature most often utilize intraoperative fluoroscopy to aid in implant placement;however,image guidance for SIJ fusion may allow for minimally invasive percutaneous instrumentation with more precise implant *** the following cases,we performed percutaneous stereotactic navigated sacroiliac instrumentation using O-arm^（？）multidimensional surgical imaging with StealthStation^（？）navigation（Medtronic,***,MN）.Patients were positioned prone and an image-guidance reference frame was placed contralateral to the surgical site.O-arm^（？） integrated with StealthStation^（？） allowed immediate *** skin incision was planned with an image-guidance *** image-guided awl,drill and tap were utilized to choose a starting point and *** titanium cage（s） packed with autograft and/or allograft were then placed.O-arm^（？） image-guidance allowed for implant placement in the SIJ with a small skin ***,we could not track the cage depth position with our current system,and in one patient,the SIJ cage had to be revised secondary to the anterior breach of sacrum.

CT features of exophthalmos in Chinese subjects with thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy

AIM: To investigate computed tomography (CT) features of exophthalmos in Chinese subjects with thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO). METHODS: A total of 605 eyes of 325 patients with exophthalmos due to TAO were classified as grade Ⅰ (mild exophthalmos) or Ⅱ (severe exophthalmos) based on orbital CT imaging. The increased orbital volume features, such as changes from extraocular muscles, orbital fat, or both, were analyzed. RESULTS: A total of 605 eyes were analyzed, among them 62.98% presented grade Ⅰ exophthalmos, while 36.02% showed grade Ⅱ exophthalmos. In grade Ⅰ, 56.69% showed orbital fat change, and in grade Ⅱ, 89.29% exhibited extraocular muscle enlargement. CONCLUSION: Orbital fat and extraocular muscle enlargement are likely to be observed on CTs of subjects with mild and severe exophthalmos, respectively. Our results suggest that CT findings may guide TAO clinical therapy recommendations and prognosis.

Segmental liver incarceration through a recurrent incisional lumbar hernia

BACKGROUND:Lumbar hernia is a rare congenital or acquired defect of the posterior abdominal wall. The acquired type is more common and occurs mainly as an incisional defect after flank surgery. Incarceration or strangulation of hernia contents is uncommon. METHOD:Segmental liver incarceration through a recurrent incisional lumbar defect was diagnosed in a 58 years old woman by magnetic resonance imaging. RESULTS:The patient underwent an open repair of the com-plicated hernia. An expanded polytetraflouoroethylene(e-PTFE) mesh was fashioned as a sublay prosthesis. She had an uncomplicated postoperative course. Follow-up examinations revealed no evidence of recurrence. CONCLUSIONS:Although lumbar hernia rarely results in incarceration or strangulation,early repair is necessary because of the risks of complications and the increasing difficulty in repairment as it enlarges. Surgical repair is often difficult and challenging.
