Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)and antibiotic resistant bacteria(ARB)in the environment pose serious threats to environmental security and public *** is an urgent need for methods to specifically and effectively control environmental pollution or pathogen infection associated with ARGs and *** review aims to provide an overview of methods abating the prevalence and spread of ARGs and ARB from species to community *** the species level,species-specific technologies,such as nanoparticle-,photosensitizer-,CRISPR-Cas-,and phage-related technology can be utilized to clear a particular class of ARGs or ARB,and in combination with low-dose antibiotics,a higher removal efficiency can be ***,the combination of antibiotics can be used to reverse microbial resistance and treat recurrent antibiotic resistant pathogen *** the community level,community-specific strategies,such as biochar,hyperthermophilic compost,and fecal microbiota transplantation can eradicate most types of ARGs or ARB in one shot,reducing the probability of resistance *** some progress has been made to eliminate ARGs and ARB in disease treatment or decontamination scenarios,further research is still needed to elucidate their mechanisms of action and scopes of application,and efforts should be made to explore novel strategies to counter the prevalence of antibiotic resistance.

Geothermal energy extraction often results in the release of naturally occurring carbon dioxide(CO_(2))as a *** on carbon storage using volcanic rock types other than basalt under both acidic and elevated temperature conditions has been limited so *** study uses batch reactor experiments at 100℃ to investigate the dissolution of andesite rock samples obtained from an active geothermal reservoir in Sumatra(Indonesia).The samples are subjected to reactions with neutral-pH fluids and acidic fluids,mimicking the geochemical responses upon reinjection of geothermal fluids,either without or with dissolved acidic gases,*** elemental analysis reveals the release of Ca^(2+)ions into the fluids through the dissolution of *** overall dissolution rate of the rock samples is 2.4×10^(–11)to 4.2×10^(–11)mol/(m^(2)·s),based on the Si release during the initial 7 h of the *** dissolution rates are about two orders of magnitude lower than those reported for basaltic rocks under similar reaction *** study offers valuable insights into the potential utilization of andesite reservoirs for effective CO_(2) storage via mineralization.

Today’s explosion of data urgently requires memory technologies capable of storing large volumes of data in shorter time frames,a feat unattain-able with Flash or *** Optane,commonly referred to as three-dimensional phase change memory,stands out as one of the most promising *** Optane with cross-point architecture is constructed through layering a storage element and a selector known as the ovonic threshold switch(OTS).The OTS device,which employs chalcogenide film,has thereby gathered increased attention in recent *** this paper,we begin by providing a brief introduction to the discovery process of the OTS ***,we summarize the key elec-trical parameters of OTS devices and delve into recent explorations of OTS materials,which are categorized as Se-based,Te-based,and S-based material ***,we discuss various models for the OTS switching mechanism,including field-induced nucleation model,as well as several carrier injection ***,we review the progress and innovations in OTS mechanism ***,we highlight the successful application of OTS devices in three-dimensional high-density memory and offer insights into their promising performance and extensive prospects in emerging applications,such as self-selecting memory and neuromorphic computing.

煤矸石作为煤矿开采过程中产生的工业固废，将其作为凝胶材料用于制备地聚合物灌浆材料，是充分利用煤矸石，实现绿色低碳发展的有效途径。本文将球磨后的煤矸石粉和矿渣作为胶凝材料，并利用不同掺量的钢纤维（SF）(0%、0.5%、1.0%、1.5%、2.0%)和纳米Al2O3（1.0%、2.0%、3.0%）对其改性，通过宏观力学与微观测试相结合的方法，研究了钢纤维单独作用和钢纤维在最优掺量下复合纳米Al2O3时地聚物灌浆材料的力学性能、流变性能及微观分析。结果表明，单掺SF时最优掺量为1.5%，SF和纳米Al2O3复掺，掺量分别为1.5%、2.0%时，砂浆性能最优。28d时，复掺抗压强度、抗折强度、断裂能分别增加了23.08%、34.55%、12.10%。塑性粘度和屈服应力均随着SF和纳米Al2O3掺量增加而增加。微观结构分析表明，相较于基准组，产生了更多的C-（A）-S-H凝胶，孔隙率降低，基体变得更加致密。

This paper covers the entire lifetime of an underground coal mine,including the start-up of the mining operations and the period after the closure and sealing of the underground *** of the vertical surface movement are presented for three neighbouring mines in the Belgian Campine coal basin,where the longwall mining method was ***,the monitoring of the initial phase showed that the impact of the first panel was smaller than the impacts of the following two neighbouring *** the second panel was mined,a change in the induced surface tilt was observed in the immediate proximity of the ***,data for a transect with a length of about 2.5 km were presented,covering a total time of 54 years,of which the first 31 years were during the active life of the *** subsidence rates of up to-0.3 m/year were *** the mine was closed and the pumping facilities were stopped,the average uplift rate was situated mostly between 4 and 16 mm/year,but a value of 141 mm/year also was *** years after closure,the upward movements are still ***,the phase of uplift is analyzed in more detail over a full north–south transect.A clear narrow maximum was observed for the uplift,corresponding to a total vertical movement of 0.2 m over approximately an 18-year *** these phases are relevant,for example when analysing damage to buildings and *** becomes visible when the cumulative movement and loading exceed critical limits and not necessarily when the largest rate of movement is observed,for example.

Objective: To analyze the feasibility of detecting Ph1 in leukemia patients in the Kinshasa University Clinics in the Democratic Republic of Congo, at ku leuven, ***: Bone marrow and peripheral blood samples with chronic myeloid leukemia,acute myeloid leukemia or acute leukocytes leukemia were obtained from 32 patients in Kinshasa University clinics in the Democratic Republic of Congo and transferred to ku leuven in Belgium for i FISH feasibility. Ph^1 was detected by using a remote analysis of interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization(i FISH).Results: Out of the 32 patients involved in this study, 65.6%(n = 21) of the cases were successfully tested, of which 52.4%(n = 11) were i FISH positives for the variant t(9;22)(presence of Ph^1) in chronic myeloid leukemia samples and 47.6%(n = 10) negatives in all subtypes of hematological malignancies. However, there was a female predominance in chronic myeloid leukemia samples Ph^1-positives by i FISH, whereas no sexual influence was observed on acute subtypes of ***: i FISH analysis is feasible on samples obtained from remote sites in the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, the optimization of the sample storage is necessary to further improve i FISH's performance.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a late-onset neurodegenerative disease selectively affecting motor neurons, leading to pro-gressive paralysis. Although most cases are sporadic,-10% are familial. Similar proteins are found in aggregates in sporadicand familial ALS, and over the last decade, research has been focused on the underlying nature of this common ***, TDP-43 inclusions are found in almost all ALS patients, while Fus inclusions have been reported in some familial ALSpatients. Both TDP-43 and FUS possess ‘low-complexity domains' (LCDs) and are considered as ‘intrinsically disordered proteins',which form liquid droplets in vitro due to the weak interactions caused by the LCDs. Dysfunctional ‘liquid-lquid phase separa-tion'(LLPS) emerged as a new mechanism linking AlS-related proteins to pathogenesis. Here, we review the current state ofknowledge on ALS-related gene products associated with a proteinopathy and discuss their status as lLPS proteins. n addition,we highlight the therapeutic potential of targeting LLPS for treating ALS.
