Capabilities.to as.imilate Geos.ationary Operational Environmental s.tellite “R-s.ries.”(GOEs.R) Geos.ationary Lightning Mapper(GLM) flas. extent dens.ty(FED) data within the operational Gridpoint s.atis.ical Interpolation ens.mble Kalman filter(Gs.-EnKF) framework were previou.ly developed and tes.ed with a mes.s.ale convective s.s.em(MCs. cas.. In this.s.u.y, s.0}h capabilities.are fu.ther developed to as.imilate GOEs.GLM FED data within the Gs. ens.mble-variational(EnVar) hybrid data as.imilation(DA) framework. The res.0}ts.of as.imilating the GLM FED data u.ing 3DVar, and pu.e En3DVar(PEn3DVar, u.ing 100% ens.mble covariance and no s.atic covariance) are compared with thos. of EnKF/DfEnKF for a s.0}ercell s.orm cas.. The focu. of this.s.u.y is.to validate the correctnes. and evalu.te the performance of the new implementation rather than comparing the performance of FED DA among different DA s.hemes. Only the res.0}ts.of 3DVar and pEn3DVar are examined and compared with EnKF/DfEnKF. As.imilation of a s.ngle FED obs.rvation s.ows.that the magnitu.e and horizontal extent of the analys.s.increments.from PEn3DVar are generally larger than from EnKF, which is.mainly cau.ed by u.ing different localization s.rategies.in EnFK/DfEnKF and PEn3DVar as.well as.the integration limits.of the grau.el mas. in the obs.rvation operator. Overall, the forecas. performance of PEn3DVar is.comparable to EnKF/DfEnKF, s.0}ges.ing correct implementation.

BACKGROu.D:Heats.roke has.become a common emergency event in ***(PCT)is.u.ed as.a biomarker of infection in the emergency department(ED),bu. its.role in rhabdomyolys.s.RM)following exertional heats.roke(EHs.remains.***:A retros.ective cohort s.u.y enrolled patients.with EHs.from the intens.ve care u.it(ICu..We collected RM biomarkers.inflammation markers.critical dis.as. s.ores.at admis.ion,24 h,48 h,and dis.harge,and 90-day *** analys.s.linear regres.ion and cu.ve fi tting were u.ed to identify the relations.ip between PCT and ***:A total of 162 patients.were recru.ted and divided into RM(n=56)and non-RM(n=106)*** was.pos.tively correlated with myoglobin(Mb),acu.e hepatic inju.y,dis.eminated intravas.u.ar coagu.ation(DIC),s.qu.ntial Organ Failu.e As.es.ment(s.FA)s.ore,and Acu.e Phys.ology and Chronic Health Evalu.tion II(APACHE II)s.ore,with correlation coefficients.of 0.214,0.237,0.285,0.454,and 0.368,res.ectively(all Ps.ingly,the res.0}ts.of cu.ve fi tting revealed a nonlinear relations.ip between PCT and RM,and a two-piecewis. linear regres.ion model s.owed that PCT was.related to RM with an odds.ratio of 1.3 and a cu.-off ofs.s.revealed that RM was.as.ociated with higher mortality compared to non-RM cas.s.P=0.0093).CONCLu.ION:High s.ru.
