The current feasibility of nanocatalysts in clinical anti-infection therapy,especially for drug-resistant bacteria infection is extremely restrained because of the insufficient reactive oxygen ***,a novel Ag/Bi2MoO6(Ag/BMO)nanozyme optimized by charge separation engineering with photoactivated sustainable peroxidase-mimicking activities and NIR-II photodynamic performance was synthesized by solvothermal reaction and *** Ag/BMO nanozyme held satisfactory bactericidal performance against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)(~99.9%).The excellent antibacterial performance of Ag/BMO NPs was ascribed to the corporation of peroxidase-like activity,NIR-II photodynamic behavior,and acidity-enhanced release of Ag^(+).As revealed by theoretical calculations,the introduction of Ag to BMO made it easier to separate photo-triggered electronhole pairs for ROS *** the conduction and valence band potentials of Ag/BMO NPs were favorable for the reduction of O_(2) to·O_(2)^(−).Under 1064 nm laser irradiation,the electron transfer to BMO was beneficial to the reversible change of Mo^(5+)/Mo^(6+),further improving the peroxidase-like catalytic activity and NIR-II photodynamic performance based on the Russell *** vivo,the Ag/BMO NPs exhibited promising therapeutic effects towards MRSA-infected *** study enriches the nanozyme research and proves that nanozymes can be rationally optimized by charge separation engineering strategy.

Inferring the potential risks of H7N9 infection by spatiotemporally characterizing bird migration and poultry distribution in eastern China

Background:In view of the rapid geographic spread and the increasing number of confirmed cases of novel influenza A(H7N9)virus infections in eastern China,we developed a diffusion model to spatiotemporally characterize the impacts of bird migration and poultry distribution on the geographic spread of H7N9 ***:Three types of infection risks were estimated for 12 weeks,from February 4 to April 28,2013,including(i)the risk caused by bird migration,(ii)the risk caused by poultry distribution,and(iii)the integrated risk caused by both bird migration and poultry *** achieve this,we first developed a method for estimating the likelihood of bird migration based on available environmental and meteorological ***,we adopted a computational mobility model to estimate poultry distribution based on annual poultry production and consumption of each province/***,the spatiotemporal risk maps were created based on the integrated impacts of both bird migration and poultry ***:In the study of risk estimation caused by bird migration,the likelihood matrix was estimated based on the 7-day temperature,from February 4 to April 28,*** was found the estimated migrant birds mainly appear in the southeastern provinces of Zhejiang,Shanghai and Jiangsu during Weeks 1 to 4,and Week 6,followed by appearing in central eastern provinces of shandong,Hebei,Beijing,and Tianjin during Weeks 7 to 9,and finally in northeastern provinces of Liaoning,Jilin,and Heilongjiang during Weeks 10 to *** the study of risk caused by poultry distribution,poultry distribution matrix was created to show the probability of poultry *** spite of the fact that the majority of the initial infections were reported in Shanghai and Jiangsu,the relative risk of H7N9 infection estimated based on the poultry distribution model predicted that Jiangsu may have a slightly higher likelihood of H7N9 infection than those in Zhejiang and Shanghai,if we on

由于污染程度较重和其所携带的大量毒性成分,大气颗粒物对人体健康具有重要影响。根据济南市51个道路颗粒物监测点PM_(10)数据,讨论了采暖季和非采暖季道路PM_(10)的浓度水平和健康风险。结果表明:(1)道路PM_(10)的平均浓度是城市背景站点的1.5倍,道路PM_(10)浓度水平主要受车流量和道路施工活动的影响。由于燃煤量的增加,采暖季的PM_(10)平均浓度是非采暖季的1.3倍。(2)从空间变化来看,这些道路站点可以分为三类,其中第二类由于受建筑活动和交通源影响,PM_(10)浓度最高,第一类由于具有绿化带和好的周围环境,PM_(10)浓度最低。(3)从时间变化来看,在非采暖季,周六浓度最高,周二浓度最低;在采暖季,周四浓度最高,周六和周二浓度最低。PM_(10)较高浓度出现在早晚,与交通源密切相关。(4)除了非采暖季PM_(10)对成年人没有健康风险,其他情况下,PM_(10)均有健康风险。

Resource utilization of typical biomass wastes as biochars in removing plasticizer diethyl phthalate from water: characterization and adsorption mechanisms

Plastic pollution as a global environmental issue has become a research hotspot,among which the removal of inherent plasticizer(e.g.,phthalic acid esters,PAEs)received increasing ***,the effects of biochars derived from different feedstocks on the adsorption of PAEs are poorly ***,the characteristics of biochars derived from six largely produced biomass wastes in China at 400°C,as well as their performance in adsorption of diethyl phthalate(DEP),one of frequently detected PAEs in aqueous environment,were *** results indicated that the variation in feedstock type showed significant changes in the properties(e.g.,porosity,specific surface area,surface functional groups)of biochars,which affected DEP adsorption and *** order and Freundlich models fitted the adsorption data well,and adsorption mechanisms mainly included hydrophobic effect,followed by micropore filling,hydrogen bonding,andπ-πEDA *** thermodynamics revealed that the adsorption was a spontaneous and exothermic the adsorption capacities of DEP on these biochars slightly decreased with the increasing pH but increased with the increasing ionic *** these biochars,the giant reed biochar with relatively higher DEP adsorption and low desorption exhibited the great efficiency for DEP removal as an environment-friendly *** results highlighted the significant roles of micropore filling and hydrogen bond in determining adsorption capacity of designed biochars prepared from selecting suitable agricultural straws and wetland plant waste to typical *** findings are useful for producing designed biochars from different biomass wastes for plasticizer pollution control.

With the continuous deepening of Artificial Neural Network(ANN)research,ANN model structure and function are improving towards diversification and ***,the model is more evaluated from the pros and cons of the problem-solving results and the lack of evaluation from the biomimetic aspect of imitating neural networks is not inclusive ***,a new ANN models evaluation strategy is proposed from the perspective of bionics in response to this problem in the ***,four classical neural network models are illustrated:Back Propagation(BP)network,Deep Belief Network(DBN),LeNet5 network,and olfactory bionic model(KIII model),and the neuron transmission mode and equation,network structure,and weight updating principle of the models are analyzed *** analysis results show that the KIII model comes closer to the actual biological nervous system compared with other models,and the LeNet5 network simulates the nervous system in ***,evaluation indexes of ANN are constructed from the perspective of bionics in this paper:small-world,synchronous,and chaotic ***,the network model is quantitatively analyzed by evaluation indexes from the perspective of *** experimental results show that the DBN network,LeNet5 network,and BP network have synchronous *** the DBN network and LeNet5 network have certain chaotic characteristics,but there is still a certain distance between the three classical neural networks and actual biological neural *** KIII model has certain small-world characteristics in structure,and its network also exhibits synchronization characteristics and chaotic *** with the DBN network,LeNet5 network,and the BP network,the KIII model is closer to the real biological neural network.

In-Vessel Melt Retention of Pressurized Water Reactors: Historical Review and Future research Needs

After the first concrete was poured on December 9, 2012 at the Shidao Bay site in Rongcheng, shandong province, China, the construction of the reactor building for the world＇s first high-temperature gas- cooled reactor pebble-bed module （HTR-PM） demonstration power plant was completed in June, 2015. Installation of the main equipment then began, and the power plant is currently progressing well to- ward connecting to the grid at the end of 2017. The thermal power of a single HTR-PM reactor module is 250 MW,h, the helium temperatures at the reactor core inlet/outlet are 250/750 ℃, and a steam of 13.25 MPa/567 ~C is produced at the steam generator outlet. Two HTR-PM reactor modules are connect- ed to a steam turbine to form a 210 MW nuclear power plant. Due to China＇s industrial capability, we were able to overcome great difficulties, manufacture first-of-a-kind equipment, and realize series ma- jor technological innovations. We have achieved successful results in many aspects, including planning and implementing R＆D, establishing an industrial partnership, manufacturing equipment, fuel produc- tion, licensing, site preparation, and balancing safety and economics; these obtained experiences may also be referenced by the global nuclear community.
