Non-aromatic fluorescent and multi-responsive materials,exhibiting inherent fluorescence emission and controlled phase change,have garnered significant attention in recent ***,the underlying interaction between their fluorescent properties and phase transition remains *** this study,we synthesized a series of catalyst-free aza-Michael addition-based polyethyleneimine(RFPEI)materials by reacting polyethyleneimine(PEI)with N-isopropyl acrylamide(NIPAM).The resulting RFPEI was comprehensively characterized,and demonstrated dual-phase transition behavior(LCST and UCST)in water,which could be finely tuned by adjusting its composition or external factors such as ***,upon UV irradiation(365 nm),RFPEI exhibited strong fluorescence *** further investigated the effects of NIPAM grafting percentage to PEI,polymer concentration,and pH on the LCST/UCST and fluorescent properties of RFPEI aqueous ***,we showcased the great potential of RFPEI as a versatile tool for physiological cell imaging,trace detection,and controlled release of *** study presents a novel class of stimuli-responsive fluorescent materials with promising applications in the field of biomedicine.

Developing functional additive resistant to space atomic oxygen(AO)irradiation through simple molecular design and chemical synthesis to enhance the lubricating performance of multialkylated cyclopentanes(MACs)oil is a significant ***,sulfur-containing polyhedral oligomere silsesquioxane(POSS)were synthesize via a click-chemistry reaction of octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric with alkyl *** reduce-friction(RF),anti-wear(AW)properties and anti-AO irradiation of POSS-S-R as MACs base oil additives in atmospheric and simulated space environments were systematically investigated for the first *** demonstrate that POSS-S-R not only possesses outstanding anti-AO irradiation capacity but also effectively improves the RF and AW of MACs in atmospheric or simulated space *** improvement is due to the excellent anti-AO irradiation properties of the POSS structure itself and the high load-carrying ability of silicon-containing and sulfur-containing compounds generated by tribo-chemical reactions,which effectively separates the direct contact of the friction *** believe that this synthesized POSS-S-R is a promising additive for space lubricants.

A Comparative Study of Machine Learning Models for Traffic Accident Severity Prediction on Rural Highways

The use of machine learning models for analyzing Traffic Accident Severity (TAS) is increasingly common in safety assessment and traffic accident prevention. However， many existing studies have not fully considered the importance of feature engineering， model hyperparameter optimization， and training set proportions， all of which significantly affect the performance of these models. This study addresses the research gap by developing a TAS model using the Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM) and integrating two feature engineering methods (Random Forest (RF) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA)). Additionally， we compared the LightGBM with three other machine learning models: Support Vector Machine (SVM)， Binary Logistic Regression (BL)， and Deep Neural Network (DNN). This comparison evaluates the effectiveness of different machine learning approaches in classifying TAS， taking into account variations in feature engineering techniques and training set proportions. The case study examines rural highway accidents in Yunnan province， China， focusing on three categories of factors influencing TAS: accident characteristics， traffic flow， and highway conditions. Moreover， the SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) values were employed to identify the primary factors contributing to the accident severity. The results show that with the training set size of 80%， all four models achieve the highest predictive accuracy for severe accidents. Notably， the PCA+lightGBM combination model outperforms others in overall accident prediction accuracy and has the highest recall rate and F1 score for severe accidents. Comparing the four models under different feature inputs， the impact of feature selection on model performance is less significant than reducing the data heterogeneity. LightGBM and DNN are more susceptible to data heterogeneity， and improving data homogeneity markedly boosts the model’s performance. NiMZn/C@melamine sponge-derived carbon(MSDC)composites(M=Co,Fe,and Mn)were prepared by a vacuum pump-ing solution method followed by carbonization.A large number of carbon nanotubes(CNTs)homogeneously attached to the surfaces of the three-dimensional cross-linked of the sponge-derived carbon in the NiCoZn/C@MSDC composite,and CNTs were detected in the NiFeZn/C@MSDC and NiMnZn/C@MSDC ***_(3)ZnC_(0.7),Ni_(3)Fe,and MnO in-situ formed in the NiFeZn/C@MSDC and NiMnZn/C@MSDC *** CNTs in the NiCoZn/C@MSDC composite efficiently modulated its complex ***,the composite exhibited the best performance among the composites,with the minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of-33.1 dB at 18 GHz and thickness of 1.4 *** bandwidth for RL of≤-10 dB was up to 5.04 GHz at the thickness of 1.7 mm and loading of 25wt%.The op-timized impedance matching,enhanced interfacial and dipole polarization,remarkable conduction loss,and multiple reflections and scat-tering of the incident microwaves improved the microwave absorption *** effects of Co,Ni,and Fe on the phase and mor-phology provided an alternative way for developing highly efficient and broadband microwave absorbers.

Based on the optical engine,the ignition characteristics,combustion process and soot emission characteristics of diesel under different 2-Methylfuran(MF) atmospheres were investigated by high-speed photography and in-cylinder combustion analysis *** results show that at the same main injection timing,the ignition time of reactivity controlled compression ignition(RCCI) combustion mode is earlier than pure diesel combustion,and the ignition point is concentrated near the *** acts as a spark plug to ignite the mixture,but the flame develops slowly in the early stages and the pressure in the cylinder rises *** with pure diesel,RCCI combustion model has smaller peak values of in-cylinder pressure and heat release rate,shorter ignition delay period,earlier combustion phase and shorter combustion *** main spray time at 6℃A BTDC and 12℃A BTDC,with the increase of MF premixing ratio from 0 to 0.75,the peak cylinder pressure decreased by 19.6% and 26% *** addition,with the increase of the MF heat value ratio,the area of KL factor> 1.5 in the combustion chamber decreased and the space integral natural luminescence(SINL) peak value decreased by 48.37%,and the soot formation rate and yield decreased ***,when the MF heat value ratio was too large(75% of the total calorific value),the ignition delay period increased,and misfire occurred at the main injection timing of 0℃A *** RCCI mode of MF/diesel dual fuel has better stability,and better control effect can be obtained at different main inj ection timing.

Four new cyclohexapeptides,pyridapeptides F–I(1–4),were isolated from the fermentation broth of marine sponge-derived Streptomyces *** pyridapeptides F–H(1–3)are composed ofβ-hydroxyleucine,alanine,O-methylthreonine,hexahydropyridazine-3-carboxylic acid,5-hydroxytetrahydropyridazine-3-carboxylic acid,and(2S,3R,4E,6E)-2-amino-3–hydroxy-4,6-dienoic acid *** I(4)contains(2S,3R,4E,6E)-2-amino-3–hydroxy-8-methylnona-4,6-dienoic acid residue and a very rare glycose residue,*** structures were determined based on spectroscopic analysis and chemical *** G–I(2–4)have the 2,3,6-trideoxyhexose units glycosylated at theγ-OH-TPDA residue,displayed significant antiproliferative activity against four(PC9,MKN45,Hep G2,K562)or two(PC9,MKN45)human cancer cell lines.

Prokaryotes are ubiquitous in the biosphere, important for human health and drive diverse biological and environmental processes. Systematics of prokaryotes, whose origins can be traced to the discovery of microorganisms in the 17th century, has transitioned from a phenotype-based classification to a more comprehensive polyphasic taxonomy and eventually to the current genome-based taxonomic *** transition aligns with a foundational shift from studies focused on phenotypic traits that have limited comparative value to those using genome sequences. In this context, Bergey's Manual of Systematics of Archaea and Bacteria(BMSAB) and Bergey's International Society for Microbial Systematics(BISMiS) play a pivotal role in guiding prokaryotic systematics. This review focuses on the historical development of prokaryotic systematics with a focus on the roles of BMSAB and BISMiS. We also explore significant contributions and achievements by microbiologists, highlight the latest progress in the field and anticipate challenges and opportunities within prokaryotic systematics. Additionally, we outline five focal points of BISMiS that are aimed at addressing these challenges. In conclusion, our collaborative effort seeks to enhance ongoing advancements in prokaryotic systematics, ensuring its continued relevance and innovative characters in the contemporary landscape of genomics and bioinformatics.
