Environmental pollution,such as water contamination,is a critical issue that must be absolutely ***,three different morphologies of tungsten-based photocatalysts(WO_(3)nanorods,WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanobricks,WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanorods)are made using a simple hydrothermal method by changing the solvents(H_(2)O,DMF,aqueous HCl solution).The as-prepared nanocatalysts have excellent thermal stability,large porosity,and high *** results show all materials have good photocatalytic activity in aqueous media,with WO_(3)/WS_(2)nanorods(NRs)having the best activity in the photodegradation of bisphenol A(BPA)under visible-light *** may originate from increased migration of charge carriers and effective prevention of electron–hole recombination in WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs,whereby this photocatalyst is able to generate more reactive·OH and·O_(2)^(–)species,leading to greater photocatalytic *** 99.6% of BPA is photodegraded within 60 min when using 1.5 g/L WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs and 5.0 mg/L BPA at pH ***,the optimal conditions(pH,catalyst dosage,initial BPA concentration)for WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs are also elaborately *** rod-like heterostructures are expressed as potential catalysts with excellent photostability,efficient reusability,and highly active effectivity in different types of *** particular,the removal efficiency of BPA by WO_(3)/WS_(2)NRs reduces by only 1.5% after five recycling runs and even reaches 89.1%in contaminated lake *** study provides promising insights for the nearly complete removal of BPA from wastewater or different water resources,which is advantageous to various applications in environmental remediation.

Calculation of the neutron noise induced by fuel assembly vibrations in two pressurized water reactor(PWR) cores has been conducted to investigate the effect of cycle burnup on the properties of the ex-core detector noise. An extension of the method and the computational models of a previous work have been applied to two different PWR cores to examine a hypothesis that fuel assembly vibrations cause the corresponding peak in the auto power spectral density(APSD) increase during the cycle. Stochastic vibrations along a random two-dimensional trajectory of individual fuel assemblies were assumed to occur at different locations in the cores. Two models regarding the displacement amplitude of the vibrating assembly have been considered to determine the noise source. Then, the APSD of the ex-core detector noise was evaluated at three burnup steps. The results show that there is no monotonic tendency of the change in the APSD of ex-core detector; however, the increase in APSD occurs predominantly for peripheral assemblies. When assuming simultaneous vibrations of a number of fuel assemblies uniformly distributed over the core, the effect of the peripheral assemblies dominates the ex-core neutron *** behaviour was found similar in both cores.

This article aims to propose a finite element formulation based on Quasi-3D theory for the static bending analysis of functionally graded porous(FGP)sandwich *** FGP sandwich plates consist of three layers including the bottom skin of homogeneous metal,the top skin of fully ceramic and the FGP core layer with uneven porosity distribution.A quadrilateral(Q4)element with nine degrees of freedom(DOFs)per node is derived and employed in analyzing the static bending response of the plate under uniform and/or sinusoidally distributed *** accuracy of the present finite element formulation is verified by comparing the obtained numerical results with the published results in the ***,some numerical examples are performed to examine the effects of the parameters including power-law index k and porosity coefficient on the static bending response of rectangular FGP sandwich *** addition,a problem with a complicated L-shape model is conducted to illustrate the superiority of the proposed finite element method.

To investigate diagnostic accuracy of 2-hour protocol of rest thallium-201/stress technetium-99m sestamibi dual-isotope myocardial perfusion SPECT in chronic coronary artery disease. Sixty-seven patients with suspected CAD were enrolled in the prospective study. All patients underwent myocardial perfusion scintigraphy in SPECT with dual isotopes of T1-201 and dipyridamole stress Tc-99m sestamibi. Rest and stress imaging protocol were performed in 2 hours by dose of 3 mCi TI-201 and 25 mCi Tc-99m sestamibi. The acquisition parameters includes LEHR collimator, energy peak of 72 and 167 keV for T1-201 and 140 keV for Tc-99m, 180-degree rotation from RAO to LPO, matrix size 64x64, and 25second/frame/64 frames. The 20-segment model of left ventricle was used in automatic quantitation software. Coronary angiography was used as gold standard. CAD was defined as 50% of lumen stenosis on coronary angiography. Rest TI-201/stress tc-99m sestamibi dual-isotope SPECT demonstrated a sensitivity of 94.59% and specificity of 70%, positive predictive value of 79.54% and negative predictive value of 91.3% in detection of coronary artery disease. Sensitivity and specificity for detecting multi-vessel coronary artery disease were 82.75% and 81.57% for the left anterior descending, 77.77% and 91.83% for left circumflex and 94.11% and 82% for right coronary artery. 2-hour protocol of rest thallium-201/stress technetium-99m sestamibi dual-isotope myocardial perfusion SPECT has high sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value in detecting chronic coronary artery disease with greater than 50% stenosis assessed by coronary angiography Moreover, this imaging protocol gives high imaging quality, time-saving and convenience.

Electro-hydraulic actuators(EHA)have recently played a signiﬁcant role in modern industrial applications,especially in systems requiring extremely high *** can be explained by EHA’s ability to precisely control the position and force through advanced sensors and innovative control *** of the promising approaches to improve control accuracy for EHA systems is applying classical to modern control algorithms,in which the proportional–inte-gral–derivative(PID)algorithm,fuzzy logic controller,and a hybrid of these methods are popular *** this paper,we developed a novel version of the fuzzy control algorithm and linear feedback control method,namely fuzzy lin-ear feedback control,to improve the control *** achieve the highest performance,weﬁrst designed a mathematical EHA model based on the Matlab/Simulink software packages thanks to the selected parameters,which are similar to a real EHA ***,we respectively applied PID,fuzzy PID(FPID),and fuzzy linear feedback control(FLFC)before comparing them to have a full view of the outstanding advantages of the proposed *** simulation results showed that the proposed FLFC algorithm is approximately 99%and 77%super-ior in performance to the PID and feedback control algorithms,respectively.

For the first time, the isogeometric analysis(IGA) approach is used to model and analyze free and forced vibrations of doubly-curved magneto-electro-elastic(MEE) composite shallow shell resting on the visco-Pasternak foundation in a hygro-temperature environment. The doubly-curved MEE shallow shell types include spherical shallow shell, cylindrical shallow shell, saddle shallow shell, and elliptical shallow shell subjected to blast load are investigated. The Maxwell equation and electromagnetic boundary conditions are used to determine the vary of the electric and magnetic potentials. The MEE shallow shell's equations of motion are derived from Hamilton's principle and refined higher-order shear theory. Then, the IGA method is used to derive the laws of natural frequencies and dynamic responses of the shell under various boundary conditions. The accuracy of the model and method is verified through reliable numerical comparisons. Aside from this, the impact of the input parameters on the free and forced vibration of the doubly-curved MEE shallow shell is examined in detail. These results may be useful in the design and manufacture of military structures such as warships, fighter aircraft, drones and missiles.

Infection of Escherichia coli in piglets is identified as one of major problems in pig *** were collected from different experiments conducted at farm levels and results showed that the percentage of piglets infected with *** was very *** infected healthy piglets were up to 48.9%and *** infected diarrhea piglets accounted for 88.3%.Using Betel Bokashi and antibiotics in treatment brings about different *** of 48 infected piglets,15 piglets were selected for three groups treatment with five each *** showed that 92.3%diarrhea piglets treated with Betel Bokashi recovered in 3.85 d,while 100%and 88.23%treated with antibiotics were cured in 4 d and 4.01 d,***-treatment piglets in group 3 grew up faster than group 1 and group 2,with gains 231,218 and 212 g,respectively.

Application of Marker Assisted Backcrossing to Introgress the Submergence Tolerance QTL <i>SUB</i>1 into the Vietnam Elite Rice Variety-AS996

The result of the study contributes to enhancing and sustaining future livelihoods and food security in Vietnam vis-a-vis climate change. An innovative strategy based on marker-assisted backcrossing (MABC) was used to transform popular rice variety AS996 into the one can tolerate submergence while maintaining its original characteristics preferred by farmers and consumers. The submergence tolerance QTL SUB1 counts for up to 70% of the submergence tolerant and provides a marked improvement of submergence tolerance in all genetic backgrounds and environments tested so far. Parental diversity was carried out with 460 markers. Of which, 53 polymorphic markers were used for assessment on BC1F1, BC2F1 and BC3F1 generations. The best BC1F1 plant was P422 with highest recipient allele was 87.5%, while the additional chosen plants were P412, P428, P215 and P39 (81% - 84%). All these plants were used to develop BC2F1 generation. The six BC2F1 plants were used to develop BC3F1 and BC2F2 were the plants number P422-11 and P422-14 having 93.75% recipient alleles and P422-12, P422-3, P39-17, P39-25 having 92.25% recipient alleles. Total of 445 BC3F1 plants were confirmed the introgresion of SUB1 using ART5 and SC3. After three generations of backcrossing, application of MABC resulted in the best BC3F1 individual P422-14-177 with 100% of recipient alleles based on the number of 53 markers used with only the introgression size of SUB1 was 0.3Mb between ART5 and SC3. Phenotyping was carried out on BC3F1 and BC2F2 of the selected lines. The survival ratio of these selected lines and IR64SUB1 were the same. It convinced the successfully introgress SUB1 into AS996 rice variety. The breeding line BC4F1 having 100% genetic background of donor variety is ready for develop new submergence tolerant rice variety ASS996-SUB1 to cope with climate change.
