Enhancing Offensive Language Detection with Data Augmentation and Knowledge Distillation

Offensive language detection has received important attention and plays a crucial role in promoting healthy communication on social platforms,as well as promoting the safe deployment of large language *** data is the basis for developing detectors;however,the available offense-related dataset in Chinese is severely limited in terms of data scale and coverage when compared to English *** significantly affects the accuracy of Chinese offensive language detectors in practical applications,especially when dealing with hard cases or out-of-domain *** alleviate the limitations posed by available datasets,we introduce AugCOLD(Augmented Chinese Offensive Language Dataset),a large-scale unsupervised dataset containing 1 million samples gathered by data crawling and model ***,we employ a multiteacher distillation framework to enhance detection performance with unsupervised *** is,we build multiple teachers with publicly accessible datasets and use them to assign soft labels to *** soft labels serve as a bridge for knowledge to be distilled from both AugCOLD and multiteacher to the student network,i.e.,the final offensive *** conduct experiments on multiple public test sets and our well-designed hard tests,demonstrating that our proposal can effectively improve the generalization and robustness of the offensive language detector.

This study experimentally clarifies that the causes by which the radio control clock sometimes fails to receive the standard time signal in the indoors are in the following two factors:（1） The shielding by the conductive materials （used for column,pillar,floor and so on） existing close to the radio control clock.（2） The missing of tuning and the change of Q of the antenna due to the closely existing conductive materials.

＜正＞This paper clarifies the differential mode pulse propagation characteristics on the parallel plates consisting of DC power supply plane and its return plane, from the viewpoint of series resonance of parallel plates, experimentally and by PSPICE simulation. It is concluded that the practical pulse propagation characteristics are dominated by the characteristics of not only the parallel plates but also the wirings connected to the parallel plates.

Reverse-blocking modular multilevel converter for battery energy storage systems

Energy storage systems with multilevel converters play an important role in modern electric power systems with large-scale renewable energy *** paper proposes a reverse-blocking modular multilevel converter for a battery energy storage system(RB-MMCBESS). Besides integrating distributed low-voltage batteries to medium or high voltage grids, with the inherited advantages of traditional MMCs, the RB-MMC-BESS also provides improved DC fault handling capability. This paper analyzes such a new converter configuration and its operating principles. Control algorithms are developed for AC side power control and the balancing of battery state of charge. The blocking mechanism to manage a DC pole-topole fault analyzed in depth. Comprehensive simulation results validate both the feasibility of the RB-MMC-BESS topology and the effectiveness of the control and fault handling strategies.

Liver fibrosis is a significant health burden,marked by the consistent deposition of ***,the currently available treatment approaches for this condition are far from *** oxidase-like protein 2(LOXL2)secreted by hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)is a crucial player in the cross-linking of matrix collagen and is a significant target for treating liver *** stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles(MSC-sEVs)have been proposed as a potential treatment option for chronic liver *** studies have found that MSC-sEV can be used for microRNA delivery into target cells or *** is currently unclear whether microRNA-4465(miR-4465)can target LOXL2 and inhibit HSC ***,it is uncertain whether MSC-sEV can be utilized as a gene therapy vector to carry miR-4465 and effectively inhibit the progression of liver *** study explored the effect of miR-4465-modified MSC-sEV(MSC-sEVmiR-4465)on LOXL2 expression and liver fibrosis *** results showed that miR-4465 can bind specifically to the promoter of the LOXL2 gene in ***,MSC-sEVmiR-4465 inhibited HSC activation and collagen expression by downregulating LOXL2 expression in ***-sEVmiR-4465 injection could reduce HSC activation and collagen deposition in the CCl4-induced mouse ***-sEVmiR-4465 mediating via LOXL2 also hindered the migration and invasion of HepG2 *** conclusion,we found that MSC-sEV can deliver miR-4465 into HSC to alleviate liver fibrosis via altering LOXL2,which might provide a promising therapeutic strategy for liver diseases.

Improvement of a Real Gas-Sensor for the Origin of Methane Selectivity Degradation by l-XAFS Investigation

We have directly investigated the chemical state of the Pd species in a real l-gas sensor device by examining the l-fluorescence X-ray absorption fine structure. The l-gas sensor device was heavily damaged by a heating process in which the temperature was ill-controlled, resulting in decrease of methane selectivity. We found that the Pd O in the fresh l-gas sensor was reduced to Pd metal particles as the methane selectivity decreased. Based on the investigation results, we modified the device structure so as to heat up homogeneously. The lifetime of the sensor was then successfully increased by more than 5 years.

Prediction of Acoustic Absorption Performance of a Perforated Plate with Air Jets

The present study focuses on the prediction of acoustic absorption performance of a perforated plate with air jets by theoretical calculations. In addition, we experimentally measured the flow rate, internal pressure, acoustic pressure, and transfer function using an acoustic impedance tube. The normal incidence absorption coefficient was calculated from the measured transfer function using transfer function methods. We investigated the influences of background air space, flow velocity, thickness, aperture rate, and aperture diameter of a perforated plate on the acoustic absorption characteristics. The frequency characteristics of the acoustic absorption coefficient showed a maximum value at a local frequency. As the background air space increased, the peak frequency of acoustic absorption characteristics decreased. As the flow velocity passing through the apertures increased, the peak level of the acoustic absorption coefficient also increased. The theoretical results agreed well with the experimental ones qualitatively.

Dynamical model of HEV with two planetary gear units and its application to optimization of energy consumption

A hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) that uses multiple planetary gear units with clutches as transmission system is advanced for the powertrain performance, because the operation of the clutches can lead to distinct operating modes, and the induced possible operating modes provide additional freedom to deal with the energy optimal control problem. Under each operating mode, the powertrain mechanical system has specific dynamical behavior. In order to develop model-based optimization schemes that can tackle the transient operations of the vehicle, exact dynamical modeling is investigated focusing on a hybrid powertrain system that uses a two-planetary-gear transmission box with two clutches. It shows that according to the states of the two clutches, the powertrain system has the power-split mode, parallel mode and the electric vehicle(EV) mode. Finally, an analysis for the calculation of the desired driving torque and its application to the dynamic programming(DP)-based energy management indicate the significance of the developed exact dynamical models.
