Platinum(Pt)catalysts are the most practical electrocatalysts;however,their low abundance and high cost severely limit their large-scale *** recovery is a key issue to be resolved before the use of Pt-based electrocatalysts can be broadly ***,the newly designed polyoxometalate[Pt^(II)(NH_(3))_(4)]_(2)[Mo_(8)O26](Mo_(8)Pt)acts as an ideal recycling medium for renewable and highly effective Pt *** from Mo_(8)Pt,by a facile reduction reaction,the formed Pt/Mo_(2)C/Mo_(2)N@C-N electrocatalyst shows superior electrocatalytic activity as compared to commercial Pt/C(20%)under both acidic and alkaline ***,the reaction of Pt/Mo_(2)C/Mo_(2)N@C-N in H_(2)O_(2)solution can regenerate Mo_(8)Pt for Pt *** is also demonstrated that the Pt electrocatalyst can be used for at least five rounds of recycling and regeneration,showing its efficiency and stability as well as its *** work highlights a recycling medium strategy to the new generation of renewable Pt-based catalysts.

The evolution of Ce-containing inclusions and its correlation with the reoxidation of liquid steel during protective atmosphere electroslag remelting(ESR)of heat-resistant steel were *** reoxidation of liquid steel took place during the ESR,resulting in the oxygen pickup from 0.0014 to 0.0053 wt.%.The inclusions in the consumable electrode,liquid metal pool and remelted ingot are Ce_(2)O_(2)S and Ce_(2)O,inclusions *** inclusions in the remelted ingot are originated from three ways:(I)the original inclusions from the electrode;(Il)the newly formed Ce_(2)O_(2)S and Ce_(2)O_(3) inclusions in the liquid metal pool by reoxidation remaining still in remelted ingot;(IlI)the newly generated Ce2O2S and Ce_(2)O_(3) inclusions during cooling and solidification of liquid *** relative proportions of Ce_(2)O_(3) inclusions in liquid metal pool and remelted ingot are 41% and 76.5%,*** inclusions ranging from 2 to 5μm in the remelted ingot take up 55%,followed by the inclusions smaller than 2μm(43%of total inclusions).The number proportion of the Ce_(2)0,inclusions in the liquid metal pool which were removed by floating up into slag is 1.96×10-5%.

The possibility to fabricate yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) thin-substrates by aqueous gel casting of high concentrated aqueous slurries was investigated. The effects of dispersant, pH value, and solid content of slurries for gel process on stability and viscosity of slurries were optimized. YSZ thin-substrates green bodies with 100 μm thickness and 100 mm×100 mm flat plate were fabricated. Microstructure observations, density and bending measurements show that these green bodies are homogeneous and highly densified. After sintering at 1873 K×2 h, the ionic conductivity reaches 0.155 S·cm^(-1) at 1273 K.

The non-polar a-plane GaN is grown on an r-plane sapphire substrate directly without a buffer layer by metal- organic chemical vapour deposition and the effects of V/III ratio growth conditions are investigated. Atomic force microscopy results show that triangular pits are formed at a relatively high V/III ratio, while a relatively low V/III ratio can enhance the lateral growth rate along the c-axis direction. The higher V/III ratio leads to a high density of pits in comparison with the lower V/III ratio. The surface morphology is improved greatly by using a low V/III ratio of 500 and the roughness mean square of the surface is only 3.9 nm. The high resolution X-ray diffraction characterized crystal structural results show that the rocking curve full width at half maximum along the m axis decreases from 0.757° to 0.720°, while along the c axis increases from 0.220° to 0.251° with the V/III increasing from 500 μmol/min to 2000 μmol/min, which indicates that a relatively low V/III ratio is conducible to the c-axis growth of a-plane GaN.

Thermal decomposition of 21 kinds of binary mixtures between typical medical compositions was investigated under nitrogen conditions by dynamic thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) at 25–800 °C. The weighed sum method(WSM) coupled with thermal analysis was applied to study the interaction between components. Then, co-pyrolysis kinetic model of the binary mixtures(tube for transfusion(TFT) and gauze) was established to verify the reliability of conclusions. The results show the follows. 1) Strong or weak interactions are shown between binary mixtures containing polyvinyl chloride(PVC), the main ingredient of TFT. The addition of other medical waste could enhance first stage decomposition of TFT. While, the secondary stage pyrolysis may be suppressed or enhanced or not affected by the addition. 2) There exists no interaction between catheter and other component, the DTG peak temperature representing Ca CO3 decomposition in catheter fraction is obviously lower than that of pure catheter; while,the shape of DTG peak keeps unchanged. 3) No evident reaction occurs between the other mix-samples, it is considered that their co-pyrolysis characteristics are linear superposition of mono-component pyrolysis characteristics.

The effects of the wall emissivity on aerodynamic heating in a scramjet are *** supersonic turbulent combustion flow including radiation is solved in the framework of a decoupled strategy where the flow field is determined first and the radiation field *** particular,a finite difference method is used for solving the flow while a DOM(iscrete ordinates method)approach combined with a WSGGM(weighted sum of gray gases)model is implemented for radiative *** nonreactive turbulent channel flows are examined for a DLR hydrogen fueled scramjet changing parametrically the wall *** results indicate that the wall radiative heating rises greatly with increasing the wall *** the wall emissivity rises,the radiative source and total absorption increase,while the incident radiation decreases ***,although the radiative heating can reach a significant level,its contribution to the total aerodynamic heating is relatively limited.

Sb2S3 solar cells with substrate structure usually suffer from pretty low short circuit current(JSC)due to the defects and poor carrier *** Sb2S3,as a one-dimensional material,exhibits orientation-dependent carrier transport *** this work,a thin MoSe2 layer is directly synthesized on the Mo substrate followed by depositing the Sb2S3 thin *** x-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns confirm that a thin MoSe2 layer can improve the crystallization of the Sb2S3 film and induce(hk1)orientations,which can provide more carrier transport *** probe force microscopy(KPFM)results suggest that this modified Sb2S3 film has a benign surface with less defects and dangling *** variation of the surface potential of Sb2S3 indicates a much more efficient carrier ***,the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the substrate structured Sb2S3 thin film solar cell is improved from 1.36%to 1.86%,which is the best efficiency of the substrate structured Sb2S3 thin film solar cell,and JSC significantly increases to 13.6 mA/cm^*** to the external quantum efficiency(EQE)and C-V measurements,the modified crystallization and elevated built-in electric field are the main causes.
