The human gut is inhabited by numerous and diverse microbial communities, forming a complex and dynamic ecosystem that regulates digestion, absorption, metabolism, and immunization. Solar-driven water splitting is a promising alternative to industrial hydrogen *** study reports an elaborate design and synthesis of the integration of cadmium sulfi de(CdS)quantum dots and cuprous sulfi de(Cu_(2)S)nanosheets as three-dimensional(3D)hollow octahedral Cu_(2)S/CdS p-n heterostructured architectures by a versatile template and one-pot sulfi dation strategy.3D hierarchical hollow nanostructures can strengthen multiple refl ections of solar light and provide a large specifi c surface area and abundant reaction sites for photocatalytic water *** to the construction of the p-n heterostructure as an ideal catalytic model with highly matched band alignment at Cu_(2)S/CdS interfaces,the emerging internal electric fi eld can facilitate the space separation and transfer of photoexcited charges between CdS and Cu_(2)S and also enhance charge dynamics and prolong charge ***,the unique hollow Cu_(2)S/CdS architectures deliver a largely enhanced visible-light-driven hydrogen generation rate of 4.76 mmol/(g·h),which is nearly 8.5 and 476 times larger than that of pristine CdS and Cu_(2)S catalysts,*** work not only paves the way for the rational design and fabrication of hollow photocatalysts but also clarifi es the crucial role of unique heterostructure in photocatalysis for solar energy conversion.

Studies on influenza virus by Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS)could be traced back as early as 2005 by the CAS Key Laboratory of Pathogenic Microbiology and Immunology(CASPMI),who discovered that Qinghai-like Clade 2.2H5N1 subtype highly pathogenic avian influenza virus(HPAIV)first caused severe outbreak in wild birds in Qinghai Lake(Liu et al.,2005).

海藻糖是生物体合成的、具有抗逆保护作用的天然二糖,在食品加工与贮藏、微生物发酵过程具有重要作用。该文采用前期获得的专一性海藻糖酶,建立了一种定量测定海藻糖的快速方法。该方法对海藻糖的检测限为0.019 mg/m L,定量限为0.1 mg/m L;海藻糖的线性检测范围为0.1 mg/m L^150.0 mg/m L,回收率为98.80%~101.33%。该方法操作简便快捷、特异性高、重复性好,在菌种改良与食品原料营养筛查等海藻糖快速定量检测中具有良好的应用前景。

Due to the selective permeability of the cytomembrane,high-yield fumaric acid strains form a steep difference between intra-and extracellular *** biosensors cannot detect the real concentration change of extracellular fumaric *** overcome this limitation,a two-component biosensor(TCB)that could respond to extracellular fumaric acid was designed based on the DcuS-DcuR two-component *** two-component system consists of a histidine kinase(SK)and response *** is a transmembrane histidine kinase sensor that can detect concentration changes in extracellular *** improve the dynamic range of the constructed fumaric acid TCB,we optimized the expression ratio and expression intensity of dcuS and *** found that the optimum expression ratio of dcuS:dcuR was 46:*** this ratio,the higher was the expression level,the greater the dynamic *** addition,we modified the ATP-binding site on the DcuS,and the final dynamic range of the TCB reached ***,the obtained fumaric acid-responsive TCB with a high dynamic range is reported for the first time,providing a synthetic biology tool for high-throughput screening and dynamic metabolic regulation of fumaric acid cell factories.

Growth and Morphological Differences between the Sexes and Female Fecundity of Ocadia sinensis

In this study, artificially hatched Ocadia sinensis individuals were cultured for 60 months, to record the growth and development process and investigate the morphological characteristics between the sexes and individual fecundity of O. sinensis. Results showed that the main morphological differences between male and female individuals are concentrated in secondary sexual characteristics ： female turtle individuals have flat or slightly prominent sternites, short tails, short length from anal pore to sternite trailing edge; male turtle individuals have concave sternites, relatively stout tails, large length from anal pore to sternite trailing edge. There were significant differences in the growth of male and female individuals, in the first 12 months, female individuals grew faster than male individuals, with greater carapace length, carapace width and weight, but the differences between male and female individuals were not significant; in the late stage, the growth rate of female individuals was much higher than that of male individuals; by the end of the experiment, the average weight of female individuals was 3.86 times of that of male individuals. Regression analysis of female fecundity showed that the clutch size of O. sinensis had significant regression relationship with carapace length and weight, the fertility of female individuals was improved with the increasing size （ carapace length and weight）.
