Aim:To describe the current practise of living donor liver transplantation(LDLT)for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),including the patient selection criteria,surgical techniques,management of small-for-size syndrome,postoperative complications,and the results of our units,in the Liver Transplant Centre of Queen Mary Hospital,hong kong,one of the high-volume centres for LDLT in ***:Our centre practises careful selection for HCC patients using the university of California,San Francisco(UCSF)criteria,supplemented by alpha-fetoprotein level and the model for end-stage liver disease *** flexibility is offered to enthusiastic donors and recipients in LDLT while balancing the risks and *** pioneered in using the extended right lobe graft and the novel hepatic venoplasty technique,which lessen the risk of hyperperfusion and small-for-size syndrome with improved overall recipient *** were collected prospectively and presented as the mean values and ranges,or the number of patients in proportion of total patient ***:Of our patients,74.9% met the UCSF criteria,and 64.5% met the Milan criteria.A 5-year overall and disease-free survival rate of 78.9% and 76.3% were ***:LDLT is an ideal treatment for HCC in hong kong with regard to the critical organ shortage and high demand for *** current surgical techniques and post-transplant surveillance contribute to the positive outcome.

This is the author’s second consecutive year of doing the *** the economy of China is booming,there is a rapid increase in the number of foreign students coming to the university of hong kong to learn *** Chinese is one of the popular subjects for them to choose,in 2019,there are around 1000 foreign students(undergraduates or exchange students)learning Chinese as a foreign language course.A language teacher is a facilitator and an instructor of Chinese learning for foreign ***,in the real world,there are always some good language learners and some less talented language learners in one ***,what is the secret of the good Chinese learners?What can the language instructors do in order to support good Chinese learners and help the less talented learners to learn Chinese?In the TESOL field,there are a lot of researches have been done by *** the early 1970s,several researchers isolated and defined the concept of good language *** in teaching Chinese as a foreign language field,there are relatively fewer ***,from January 2017 to May 2019,I conducted a survey about good Chinese learners in CHIN9503 and CHIN9504 *** survey consisted of an interview with several questions and the author will discuss the result of a survey and its implications in this *** research is done in a macro way rather than micro ***,this holistic research focuses on finding good Chinese learners rather than focusing on learners’individual differences.

the university of hong kong’s statement on vision now has three themes:1) Research, 2) teaching & learning, and 3) knowledge exchange(KE). KE emphasizes HKU’s desire to interact with its community for a mutual benefit. A new five-year strategic plan(2009-2014) sets out operational priorities and key indicators to enable knowledge exchange at HKU. Chief among these is the establishment of an exchange hub to make HKU researchers and their research products highly visible. The institutional repository of HKU, the HKU Scholars Hub, developed by its university Libraries, has become this KE exchange hub. Now the Hub includes HKU ResearcherPages, featuring the accomplishments of each HKU professoriate staff. HKU’s policy on knowledge exchange and the HKU ResearcherPages have increased the incentive for faculties, departments, and authors to place more items in open access(OA). This paper will discuss what KE is, the benefits it can bring to the university and its reputation, and how it can increase OA deposit.

This paper introduces a scalable virtual learning environment of the Chineseuniversity of hong kong;an explicitly geographical, immersive, and sharable 3Dlearning space with comprehensive social elements. It is characterized by multiuser collaborative modeling, group learning approaches of geo-collaboration,social space-oriented hierarchical avatars, and knowledge exchanging and sharingbased on virtual geographic experiments. Applications for the purpose of publiceducation and virtual geographic experiment, and indicated future works provethe possibility to offer a greater opportunity to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, revitalize teaching patterns and learning contents, improve learners’cognitive abilities to solve problems, and enhance their understanding of scientificconcepts and processes.
