BackgroundFew studies have compared change in the health-related quality of life （HRQL） following treatment of non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome （NSTE-ACS） with either percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） or coronary artery bypass grafting （CABG）. This study is tocompare changes in HRQL six months after hospital discharge between NSTE-ACS pa-tients who underwent either PCI or *** HRQL was assessed using the Seattle angina questionnaire at admission and six months after discharge in 1012 consecutive patients with NSTE-ACS. To assess associations of PCI and CABG with HRQL changes, logistic regression models were constructed treating changes in the score of each dimension of the Seattle angina question-naire as dependent *** Although both the PCI and CABG groups experienced angina relief and other improvements at 6-month follow-up （P〈0.001）, the CABG relative to PCI group showed more significant improvements in angina frequency （P= 0.044） and quality of life （P= 0.028）. In multivariable logistic analysis, CABG also was an independent predictor for both im-provement of angina frequency （OR： 1.62, 95%CI： 1.09-4.63,P= 0.042） and quality of life （OR： 2.04, 95%CI： 1.26-6.92,P= 0.038） relative to *** In patients with NSTE-ACS, both PCI and CABG provide great improvement in disease-specific health status at six months, with that of CABG being more prominent in terms of angina frequency and quality of life.

In this study,we investigated the effects of single-stage ageing(SSA),two-stage ageing(TSA),2%pre-strain+single-stage ageing(P2%SSA)and 2%pre-strain-I-two-stage ageing(P2%TSA)on the mechanical properties of as-extruded Mg-8Gd-3Y-0.5Ag-0.5Zr alloy(E alloy).Compared with the SSA treatment,the TSA treatment increased the number density of/β'*** P2%SSA and P2%TSA treatments generated theγ'phase and chain-like precipitates in addition to the/β'*** contributions of these ageing treatments to the alloy strengthening can be ranked as P2%TSA>P2%SSA>TSA>SSA,because the increments in the tensile yield strength were estimated to be 199 MPa>148 MPa>144 MPa>110 ***ferent from the traditional strengthening of/β'phase in the E+SSA and E+TSA alloys,the composite precipitates comprising the/β'phase,γ'phase and chain-like precipitates in the E+P2%SSA and E+P2%TSA alloys provided better combined strengthening ***/β'phase was still dominated in the strengthening effect of the composite *** to the higher number density of/β'phase in the composite precipitates,the E+P2%TSA alloy exhibited the better mechanical performance as compared with the E+P2%SSA ***,the E+P2%TSA alloy had the ultimate tensile strength of 452 MPa,the tensile yield strength of 401 MPa and elongation to failure of 3.3%.

Giant esophageal inflammatory fibrous polyp （espedally 〉 17 cm in size） is seen rarely. Endoscopic removal has been reported rarely because the procedure is technically demanding and the hemostasis is difficult to ascertain. Here, we describe a case of a giant upper esophageal inflammatory fibrous polyp that was resected successfully by endoscopy.

Background The optimal colloid for use during kidney transplantation is not clear. Patients undergoing living-related kidney transplantation （LRKT） were used to compare the protective effects of 6% hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4 （HES 130/0.4） and 4% succinylated gelatine, as donor kidney procurement, ischemia time and surgical conditions are comparable. Stroke volume variation （SVV） was used to monitor intravascular volume to avoid renal allograft *** Eighty patients undergoing LRKT were divided into two groups： group H received 6% HES 130/0.4 and group G received 4% succinylated gelatine. All donors and recipients received 15-25 ml/kg of the relevant colloid during surgery. Arterial blood pressure （ABP）, heart rate （HR）, central venous pressure （CVP）, SVV and cardiac index （CI）,electrocardiography （ECG） and SpO2 were monitored continuously. SVV was kept between 6%-13% and mean arterial pressure at 100-130 mmHg. Samples of venous blood and urine were obtained 30 minutes after unclamping and on the mornings of post-operative days （POD） 1-4 to measure serum and urine β2-microglobulin, urine α1-microglobulin,microalbumin and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase. Blood urea nitrogen （BUN） and creatine were determined pre-operation （to）, 3 hours after surgery （t1） and on PODs 1 （t2）, 2 （t3）, 4 （t4）, 7 （t5） and 10 （t6）. Urine output was recorded at t1, t2, t5, *** Age, body weight, body surface area （BSA）, operation time, urine output and the colloid volume infused were comparable between the groups and hemodynamics were stable during surgery. Introduction:Human sapovirus(HuSaV)is an enteric virus responsible for sporadic cases and outbreaks of acute gastroenteritis(AGE)globally.A seven-year active surveillance study was conducted to investigate the molecular epidemiology of HuSaVs associated with AGE outbreaks in chaoyang district of beijing Municipality,China from January 2015 to December ***:Fecal and anal swab samples were obtained from patients experiencing AGE *** were identified through reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),and partial viral protein 1(VP1)sequences(approximately 434 base pairs)were utilized for genotyping,single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)analysis,and phylogenetic ***:HuSaVs were identified in 71 AGE outbreaks,demonstrating a detection rate of 10.5%,second only to *** primary demographic affected by HuSaV were children under the age of 5 in kindergarten *** rates tended to peak during two distinct periods:May to June and September to *** genotyping,seven distinct genotypes ***.3 was the most prevalent,accounting for 54.9%of cases,followed by GI.1(12.7%),GI.2(9.9%),GII.5(7.0%),GI.5(2.8%),GI.6(1.4%),GII.1(1.4%),and untyped cases(9.9%).A phylogenetic analysis of GII.3 identified three distinct groups,with 15 notable SNPs ***:This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the persistent prevalence of HuSaV outbreaks in chaoyang district,beijing Municipality,*** time,the diversity of HuSaV subtypes has shifted,and it is now recognized as the second leading viral agent responsible for AGE *** highlights the importance of ongoing surveillance in the future.
