A survey on distributed compressed sensing： theory and applications

The compressed sensing （CS） theory makes sample rate relate to signal structure and content. CS samples and compresses the signal with far below Nyquist sampling frequency simultaneously. However, CS only considers the intra-signal correlations, without taking the correlations of the multi-signals into account. Distributed compressed sensing （DCS） is an extension of CS that takes advantage of both the inter- and intra-signal correlations, which is wildly used as a powerful method for the multi-signals sensing and compression in many fields. In this paper, the characteristics and related works of DCS are reviewed. The framework of DCS is introduced. As DCS＇s main portions, sparse representation, measurement matrix selection, and joint reconstruction are classified and summarized. The applications of DCS are also categorized and discussed. Finally, the conclusion remarks and the further research works are provided.

The unipolar photocurrent in conventional photodiodes(PDs)based on photovoltaic effect limits the output modes and potential versatility of these devices in *** photodiodes with photocurrent switching are emerging as a promising solution for obtaining photoelectric devices with unique and attractive functions,such as optical logic ***,we design an all-solid-state chip-scale ultraviolet(UV)PD based on a hybrid GaN heterojunction with engineered bipolar polarized electric *** introducing the polarization-induced photocurrent switching effect,the photocurrent direction can be switched in response to the wavelength of incident light at 0 V *** particular,the photocurrent direction exhibits negative when the irradiation wavelength is less than 315 nm,but positive when the wavelength is longer than 315 *** device shows a responsivity of up to−6.7 mA/W at 300 nm and 5.3 mA/W at 340 nm,*** particular,three special logic gates in response to different dual UV light inputs are demonstrated via a single bipolar PD,which may be beneficial for future multifunctional UV photonic integrated devices and systems.

We demonstrate a photon-counting chirped amplitude modulation （CAM） light detection and ranging （lidar） system incorporating a superconducting nanowire single-photon detector （SNSPD） and operated at a wavelength of 1550 nm. The distance accuracy of the lidar system was determined by the CAM bandwidth and signal-to-noise ratio （SNR） of an intermediate frequency （IF） signal. Owing to a short dead time （10 ns） and negligible dark count rate （70 Hz） of the SNSPD, the obtained IF signal attained an SNR of 42 dB and the direct distance accuracy was improved to 3 mm when the modulation bandwidth of the CAM signal was 240 MHz and the modulation period was 1 ms.

The global deposition of superheavy pyrite(pyrite isotopically heavier than coeval seawater sulfate in the Neoproterozoic Era and particularly in the Cryogenian Period) defies explanation using the canonical marine sulfur cycle system. Here we report petrographic and sulfur isotopic data(δS) of superheavy pyrite from the Cryogenian Datangpo Formation(660–650 Ma) in South China. Our data indicate a syndepositional/early diagenetic origin of the Datangpo superheavy pyrite, withS-enriched HS supplied from sulfidic(HS rich) seawater. Instructed by a novel sulfur-cycling model, we propose that the emission ofS-depleted volatile organosulfur compounds(VOSC) that were generated via sulfide methylation may have contributed to the formation ofS-enriched sulfidic seawater and superheavy pyrite. The global emission of VOSC may be attributed to enhanced organic matter production after the Sturtian glaciation in the context of widespread sulfidic conditions. These findings demonstrate that VOSC cycling is an important component of the sulfur cycle in Proterozoic oceans.

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus.（PRRSV） actively induces cell apoptosis both in vitro and in vivo, which can contribute critically to viral pathogenesis. Previous studies have shown that the PRRSV nonstructural protein 4 （nsp4） is an important mediator of this process, but the underlying molecular details remain poorly understood. In this study, we found that the PRRSV nsp4 interacted with the mitochondrial inner membrane protein cytochrome cl （***） and induced its proteolytic cleavage. Interestingly, the cleaved N-terminal fragment of *** was found to exert apoptotic activity, which could cause mitochondrial fragmentation, resulting in apoptotic cell death. And RNA interference （RNAi） silencing experiments further confirmed the crucial role which *** played in nsp4- and PRRSV-induced cell apoptosis. Thus, our data provide an important piece of mechanistic clues for PRRSV-induced cell apoptosis and also elucidate a novel mechanism for the 3C-like proteases in this finding.

Optimal placement of distributed generation units in distribution systems via an enhanced multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm

This paper deals with the optimal placement of distributed generation(DG) units in distribution systems via an enhanced multi-objective particle swarm optimization(EMOPSO) algorithm. To pursue a better simulation of the reality and provide the designer with diverse alternative options, a multi-objective optimization model with technical and operational constraints is constructed to minimize the total power loss and the voltage fluctuation of the power system simultaneously. To enhance the convergence of MOPSO, special techniques including a dynamic inertia weight and acceleration coefficients have been integrated as well as a mutation operator. Besides, to promote the diversity of Pareto-optimal solutions, an improved non-dominated crowding distance sorting technique has been introduced and applied to the selection of particles for the next iteration. After verifying its effectiveness and competitiveness with a set of well-known benchmark functions, the EMOPSO algorithm is employed to achieve the optimal placement of DG units in the IEEE 33-bus system. Simulation results indicate that the EMOPSO algorithm enables the identification of a set of Pareto-optimal solutions with good tradeoff between power loss and voltage stability. Compared with other representative methods, the present results reveal the advantages of optimizing capacities and locations of DG units simultaneously, and exemplify the validity of the EMOPSO algorithm applied for optimally placing DG units.

Creation of freeways in a membrane accelerates water transport for efficient desalination;however,the synthesis of target membrane materials is very *** the present study,the molecular-design strategy is developed for the synthesis of porous aromatic framework(PAF)membranes with rigid and open networks to regulate water ***-based monomers in triangle shape are designed for the construction of PAF-98 and its sister frameworks,and these PAF membranes are formed through trifluoromethanesulfonic acid *** rigidity and geometry of the monomers endow PAFs with unique structures of connected pores with edging size(4.5–6.7Å)between water(2.8Å)and hydrated sodium molecules(7.2Å),enabling effective differentiation of water and *** fabricated membranes with high flexibility and continuity are ideal for water desalination,and reverse osmosis experiments demonstrate that the three PAF membranes are selective for permeation of water molecules over hydrated sodium *** water flux of 547.1 L m^(-2) h^(-1) and high rejection degree of 90%are obtained on a representative membrane of PAF-98-E;and the desalination performance is superior to currently available membrane ***,PAF-98-E membrane is capable of rejecting various cations with high efficiency in real seawater,holding great promise in practical water desalination application.

With increasing physical event rates and the number of electronic channels, traditional readout schemes meet the challenge of improving readout speed caused by the limited bandwidth of the crate backplane. In this paper, a high-speed data readout method based on the Ethernet is presented to make each readout module capable of transmitting data to the DAQ. Features of explicitly parallel data transmitting and distributed network architecture give the readout system the advantage of adapting varying requirements of particle physics experiments. Furthermore,to guarantee the readout performance and flexibility, a standalone embedded CPU system is utilized for network protocol stack processing. To receive the customized data format and protocol from front-end electronics, a field programmable gate array（FPGA） is used for logic reconfiguration. To optimize the interface and to improve the data throughput between CPU and FPGA, a sophisticated method based on SRAM is presented in this paper. For the purpose of evaluating this high-speed readout method, a simplified readout module is designed and *** results show that this module can support up to 70 Mbps data throughput from the readout module to DAQ.
