The collection of multiple-channel electrophysiological signals enables a comprehensive understanding of the spatial distribution and temporal features of electrophysiological *** approach can help to distinguish the traits and patterns of different ailments to enhance diagnostic *** array electrodes,which can penetrate skin without pain,can lessen the impedance between the electrodes and skin;however,current microneedle methods are limited to single channels and cannot achieve multichannel collection in small ***,a multichannel(32 channels)microneedle dry electrode patch device was developed via a dimensionality reduction fabrication and integration approach and supported by a self-developed circuit system to record weak electrophysiological signals,including electroencephalography(EEG),electrocardiogram(ECG),and electromyography(EMG)*** microneedles reduced the electrode–skin contact impedance by penetrating the nonconducting stratum corneum in a painless *** multichannel microneedle array(MMA)enabled painless transdermal recording of multichannel electrophysiological signals from the subcutaneous space,with high temporal and spatial resolution,reaching the level of a single microneedle in terms of signal *** MMA demonstrated the detection of the spatial distribution of ECG,EMG and EEG signals in live rabbit models,and the microneedle electrode(MNE)achieved better signal quality in the transcutaneous detection of EEG signals than did the conventional flat dry electrode *** work offers a promising opportunity to develop advanced tools for neural interface technology and electrophysiological recording.

Background:Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury(HIRI)remains a common complication during liver transplantation(LT)in *** a key downstream effector of the Hippo pathway,Yes-associated protein(YAP)has been reported to be involved in various physiological and pathological ***,it remains elusive whether and how YAP may control autophagy activation during ***:Human liver tissues from patients who had undergone LT were obtained to evaluate the correlation between YAP and autophagy *** an in vitro hepatocyte cell line and in vivo liver-specific YAP knockdown mice were used to establish the hepatic ischemia-reperfusion models to determine the role of YAP in the activation of autophagy and the mechanism of ***:Autophagy was activated in the post-perfusion liver grafts during LT in patients,and the expression of YAP positively correlated with the autophagic level of ***-specific knockdown of YAP inhibited hepatocytes autophagy upon hypoxia-reoxygenation and HIRI(P<0.05).YAP deficiency aggravated HIRI by promoting the apoptosis of hepatocytes both in the in vitro and in vivo models(P<0.05).Attenuated HIRI by overexpression of YAP was diminished after the inhibition of autophagy with *** addition,inhibiting autophagy activation by YAP knockdown exacerbated mitochondrial damage through increasing reactive oxygen species(P<0.05).Moreover,the regulation of autophagy by YAP during HIRI was mediated by AP1(c-Jun)N-terminal kinase(JNK)signaling through binding to the transcriptional enhanced associate domain(TEAD).Conclusions:YAP protects against HIRI by inducing autophagy via JNK signaling that suppresses the apoptosis of *** Hippo(YAP)-JNK-autophagy axis may provide a novel strategy for the prevention and treatment of HIRI.

Gallic acid (GA)， a plant phenol ubiquitously present in fruits and vegetables， has demonstrated efficacy in ameliorating ulcerative colitis (UC). Despite previous reports， the precise mechanism of GA's therapeutic action remains elusive. Herein， the present work aims to delineate the mechanism underlying the anti-UC effects of GA by focusing on the interplay of gut microbiota， microbial and host cometabolites， and gut immune regulation. The findings revealed that GA treatment improved the colitis symptoms and systematic inflammatory response， reliant on gut microbiota， as evidenced by microbiota depletion and fecal microbiota transplantation. According to the 16s rDNA sequencing results， GA altered the gut microbiota community structure and upregulated the biosynthesis of secondary bile acids (SBAs). Metabolomics and flow cytometry analysis (FCS) revealed a substantial increase in SBAs production， including UDCA， LCA， 3-oxo-LCA and IsoalloLCA， which further upregulated the proportion of regulatory T (Treg) cells and downregulated the proportion of T helper type 17 (Th17) cells in the colon， ultimately resulting in an improved Treg/Th17 balance. Further FCS and real-time quantitative PCR assays provided mechanistic insights， demonstrating that UDCA and IsoalloLCA facilitate Treg cell differentiation through the upregulation of nuclear hormone receptor 4A1 (NR4A1). This research elucidated that GA effectively mitigates colitis by modulating the Treg/Th17 balance， facilitated by the enhanced synthesis of microbiota-derived SBAs. These insights unveil innovative pathways through which GA exerts its anti-UC effects， emphasizing the potential therapeutic benefits of incorporating a GA-enriched diet into UC management.

AIM:To investigate the difference in risk factors between non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy(NAION)and central retinal artery occlusion(CRAO)and develop a predictive diagnostic ***:The study included 37 patients with monocular NAION,20 with monocular CRAO,and 24 with ***,age,and systemic diseases were *** routine,lipids,hemorheology,carotid and brachial artery doppler ultrasound,and echocardiography were *** optic disc area,cup area,and cup-to-disc ratio(C/D)of the unaffected eye in the NAION and CRAO group and the right eye in the hypertension group were ***:The carotid artery intimal medial thickness(C-IMT)of the affected side of the CRAO group was thicker(P=0.039)and its flow-mediated dilation(FMD)was lower(P=0.049)than the NAION *** with hypertension patients,NAION patients had higher whole blood reduced viscosity low-shear(WBRV-L)and erythrocyte aggregation index(EAI;P=0.045,0.037),and CRAO patients had higher index of rigidity of erythrocyte(IR)and erythrocyte deformation index(EDI;P=0.004,0.001).The optic cup and the C/D of the NAION group were smaller than the other two groups(Psensitivity(85.6%),which was highly related to hypertension,the C-IMT of the affected side,FMD,platelet(PLT),EAI,and C/***:CRAO patients show thicker C-IMT and worse endothelial function than *** and CRAO may be related to abnormal hemorheology.A small cup and small C/D may be involved in *** diagnostic nomogram can be used to preliminarily identify NAION and CRAO.
