Corrosion leakages often occur in the air cooler of a hydrocracking unit,with the failure sites mainly located in the entrance area of the *** analysis of the macroscopic morphology and corrosion products confirmed that the damage was caused by erosion-corrosion(E-C).Numerical and experimental methods were applied to investigate the E-C mechanism in the air *** fluid dynamics(CFD)was used to calculate the hydrodynamic parameters of the air *** results showed that there was a biased flow in the air cooler,which led to a significant increase in velocity,turbulent kinetic energy and wall shear within 0.2 m of the tube entrance.A visualization experiment was then performed to determine the principles of migration and transformation of multiphase flow in the air cooler *** flow patterns(pure droplet flow,mist flow,and annular flow)and their evolutionary processes were clearly depicted *** initiation mechanism and processes leading to the development of E-C in the air cooler were also *** study provided a comprehensive explanation for the E-C failures that occur in air coolers during operation.

There is nothing illogical in the concept that hydrates are easily formed in oil and gas pipelines owing to the low-temperature and high-pressure environment,although requiring the cooperation of flow rate,water content,gas-liquid ratio,and other specific ***,hydrate plugging is a major concern for the hydrate slurry pipeline transportation *** order to further examine potential mechanisms underlying these processes,the present paper listed and analyzed the significant research efforts specializing in the mechanisms of hydrate blockages in the liquid-rich system,including oil-based,water-based,and partially dispersed systems(PD systems),in gathering and transportation *** addition,it summarized the influences of fluid flow and water content on the risk of hydrate blockage and *** general,flow rate was implicated in the regulation of blockage risk through its characteristic to affect sedimentation tendencies and flow *** water content can potentiate the growth of hydrates and change the oil-water dispersion degree,which causes a transition from completely dispersed systems to PD systems with a higher risk of *** of diversity of hydrate plugging mechanism in oil-based system ought to be studied in-depth by combining the discrepancy of water content and the microscopic characteristics of hydrate *** present,it is increasingly necessary to expand the application of the hydrate blockage formation prediction model in order to ensure that hydrate slurry mixed transportation technology can be more maturely applied to the natural gas industry transportation field.

Methane partial oxidation （MPO） is considered as an alternative method to produce hydrogen because it is an exothermic reaction to afford a suitable H2/CO ratio of 2. However, carbon deposition on a catalyst is observed as a major cause of catalyst deactivation in MPO. In order to find suitable catalysts that prevent the carbon deposition, NiO-MgO/Ce0.75Zr0.2502 （CZO） supported catalysts were prepared via the co-impregnation （C） and sequential incipient wetness impregnation （S） methods. The amount of Ni loading was fixed at 15 wt-% whereas the amount of MgO loading was varied from 5 to 15 wt-%. The results revealed that the addition of MgO shifted the light-off temperatures to higher temperatures. This is because the Ni surface was partially covered with MgO, and the strong interaction between NiO and NiMgO2 over CZO support led to the difficulty in reducing NiO to active Ni~ and thus less catalytic activity. However, among the catalysts tested, the 15Ni5Mg/CZO （S） catalyst exhibited the best catalytic stability for MPO after 18 h on stream at 750℃. Moreover, this catalyst had a better resistance to carbon deposition due to its high metallic Ni dispersion at high temperature.

Oil and water separation has always been a top priority in the oil *** this study,a series of hyperbranched fluorinated polyamine-amine polymers(HFPA1-5)were synthesized directly using an improved“one-pot method.”The highly active fluorinated p-trifluoromethylaniline was used as the core raw material,while diethylenetriamine and methyl acrylate were used as the chain segment.A hyperbranched fluorine-containing polyamine-amine demulsifier(NHFPA6)was obtained through nano-grafting copolymerization of *** enhance the demulsification and dehydration performance,the copolymerized HFPA6 was modified and ***,the effects of the combination ratio,demulsifier concentration,demulsification time,and demulsification temperature on the demulsification effect were *** results revealed that a combination ratio of DE-401:NHFPA6=1:1,a demulsification temperature of 50℃,a demulsification time of 60 min,and a demulsifier concentration of 150 mg/L yielded a dehydration rate as high as 99.80%.A response surface optimization design of demulsification conditions was *** model verified that the optimal demulsification conditions were 50℃,300 mg/L,and 90 ***,considering the economic benefits of factories,it is more favorable to select demulsification conditions with a shorter time and lower concentration when the dehydration standard is ***,the demulsification conditions were selected as 50℃,150 mg/L,and 60 *** to existing demulsifiers,the demulsifier developed in this study exhibits a lower demulsification temperature and higher demulsification efficiency.

Early dolomitisation of the Lower-Middle Ordovician cyclic carbonates in northern Tarim Basin, NW China

High-frequency metre-scale cycles are present within the Lower-Middle Ordovician carbonate successions in northern Tarim Basin, NW China. These metre-scale cycles were variably dolomitised from top to bottom. Three types of replacive dolomites were recognised, including dololaminite(very finely to finely crystalline, planar-s to nonplanar-a dolomite;type-1), patterned dolomite(finely crystalline, planar-s dolomite; type-2), and mottled dolomite(finely to medium crystalline,nonplanar-a(s) dolomite; type-3). Petrographic evidence indicate these dolomites were primarily deposited in supratidal to restricted subtidal environments, and formed in near-surface to shallow burial realms. Geochemically, all types of dolomites have similar δ13C and 87Sr/86 Sr ratios comparable to calcite precipitated in equilibrium with the Early-Middle Ordovician seawater. These geochemical attributes indicate that these dolomites were genetically associated and likely formed from connate seawater-derived brines. Of these, type-1 dolomite has δ18O values(.4.97‰ to.4.04‰ VPDB) slightly higher than those of normal seawater dolomite of the Early-Middle Ordovician age. Considering the absence of associated evaporites within type-1 dolomite, its parental fluids were likely represented by slightly evaporated(i.e., mesosaline to penesaline) seawater with salinity below that of gypsum precipitation. More depleted δ18O values(.7.74‰ to.5.20‰ VPDB) of type-2 dolomite and its stratigraphic position below type-1 dolomite indicate the generation of this dolomite from mesosaline to penesaline brines at higher temperatures in near-surface to shallow burial domains. Type-3 dolomite yields the most depleted δ18O values(–9.30‰to –7.28‰ VPDB), pointing to that it was most likely formed from coeval seawater-derived brines at highest temperatures in a shallow burial setting. Ce Y samples with different cerium（Ce） ions initial distribution were prepared by diverse preparation processes. The correlative influence of Ce ions distribution on the intracrystalline structure and catalytic mechanism of Y-type zeolite was studied by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, Rietveld refinement, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry（XRF）, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy（EDS）, infrared（IR） spectra, NH3 temperature-programmed desorption（NH3-TPD）, N2 physical adsorption-desorption and micro-activity test（MAT）. The results indicated that Ce ions were concentrated on the surface（supercage） of Ce Y zeolite would reduce the number of acid sites and the ratio of Br？nsted acid and Lewis acid（B/L）. Once Ce ions concentrated in the sodalite cage, it would participate in the coordination with framework oxygen atoms under the condition of steric hindrance. Meanwhile, Ce ions would preferentially promote the B/L value of weak acid by retaining more intracrystalline framework Al atoms in sodalite cage, which was beneficial to the conversion of heavy oil in FCC process. The optimal initial-distribution of Ce ions could not only save the consumption of rare earth resources but also give the best catalytic performance of Ce Y zeolite catalysts, and these advantages and attributes enabled it to have the potential to be applied in industrial applications.

Different types of Y zeolites（HY, USY and Na Y） containing various amounts of cerium（Ce） were prepared with the method of liquid ion exchange and characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, intelligent gravimetric analyzer（IGA）, and a molecular simulation technology（grand canonical Monte Carlo simulation, GCMC）. A novel calculation method of desorption index（DI） was proposed and the influence of cerium cationic species on the processes of adsorption-desorption of hydrocarbon molecules（n-octane） on the cerium modified Y zeolites（Ce Y） was studied. The results indicated that Ce ion species played a key role in reducing desorption activation energy of n-octane on Y type zeolites, leading to an improvement of the desorption ability of the Ce Y and the regulation of the adsorption state of n-octane from aggregation to decentralization. These findings are essential factors for enhancing the product selectivity of light hydrocarbon component and the catalytic activity of rare earth modified Y zeolites（REY） catalysts in fluid catalytic cracking（FCC） process.

The Ni2P promoted and γ-Al2O3 supported NiMoW sulfide catalyst consisting of 4 wt% Mo, 22 wt% W, 2 wt% Ni and 2.5 wt% Ni2P was synthesized by a co-impregnation method. The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform （DRIFT） spectroscopy, NH3 temperature-programmed desorption （NH3-TPD） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The results showed that Ni2P, Ni, Mo and W species were highly dispersed over γ-Al2O3. The hydrodesulfurization （HDS） of dibenzothiophene （DBT） showed that the presence of Ni2P brought a strong promotional effect on the HDS activity, which was further confirmed by the HDS and hydrodenitrogenation （HDN） of diesel oil under industrial conditions. The enhancement in HDN activity and stability by Ni2P addition could be attributed more to the effect of new active sites of Ni2P than that of acidity modification. The as-prepared Ni2P-NiMoW/γ-Al2O3 catalyst showed better hydrotreating performance than NiMoW/γ-Al2O3 and commercial catalysts.

In this study, the effect of Nb loading on the catalytic activity of Ce0.75Zr0.25O2-supported Ni catalysts was studied for methane partial oxidation. The catalysts were characterized by BET, H2 chemisorption, XRD, TPR, TEM and tested for methane partial oxidation to syngas in the temperature range of 400-800 ℃at atmospheric pressure. The results showed that the activity of methane partial oxidation on the catalysts was apparently dependent on Nb loading. It seemed that the addition of Nb lowered the catalytic activity for methane partial oxidation and increased the extent of carbon deposition. This might be due to the strong interaction between NiO and Nb-modified support and reduction of surface oxygen reducibility.
