Graphene has enormous potential to capture CO2due to its unique properties and ***,graphene-based adsorbents have drawbacks of lower CO2adsorption capacity and poor *** work demonstrates a one-step rapid and sustainable N2/H2plasma treatment process to prepare graphene-based sorbent material with enhanced CO2adsorption *** treatment directly enriches amine species,increases surface area,and improves textural *** CO2adsorption capacity increases from 1.6 to 3.3 mmol/g for capturing flue gas,and from 0.14 to 1.3 mmol/g for direct air capture （DAC）.Importantly,the electrothermal property of the plasma-modified aerogels has been significantly improved,resulting in faster heating rates and significantly reducing energy consumption compared to conventional external heating for regeneration of *** aerogels display improved selectivity of 42 and 87 after plasma modification for 5 and 10 min,*** plasma-treated aerogels display minimal loss between 17%and 19% in capacity after 40 adsorption/desorption cycles,rendering excellent *** N2/H2plasma treatment of adsorbent materials would lower energy expenses and prevent negative effects on the global economy caused by climate change.

Spatial memory is crucial for survival within external surroundings and wild *** hippocampus,a critical hub for spatial learning and memory formation,has received extensive investigations on how neuromodulators shape its functions(Teixeira et al.,2018;Zhang et al.,2024).However,the landscape of neuromodulations in the hippocampal system remains poorly understood because most studies focus on classical monoamine neuromodulators,such as acetylcholine,serotonin,dopamine,and *** neuropeptides,comprising the most abundant neuromodulators in the central nervous system,play a pivotal role in neural information processing in the hippocampal ***(CCK),one of the most abundant neuropeptides,has been implicated in regulating various physiological and neurobiological statuses(Chen et al.,2019).CCK-A receptor(CCK-AR)and CCK-B receptors(CCK-BR)are two key receptors mediating the biological functions of CCK,both of which belong to class-A sevenfold transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors(Nishimura et al.,2015).CCK-AR preferentially reacts to sulfated CCK,whereas CCK-BR binds both CCK and gastrin with similar affinities(Ding et al.,2022).The expression patterns of CCK-AR and CCK-BR are distinct,implying that CCK has various functions in target *** instance,CCK-AR is widely expressed in the GI and brain subregions and is hence implicated in the control of digestive function and satiety ***,CCK-BR is abundantly and widely distributed in the central nervous system,which majorly regulates anxiety,learning,and memory(Ding et al.,2022).However,the roles of endogenous CCK and CCK receptors in regulating hippocampal function at electrophysiological and behavioral levels have received less attention.

Catalyst–support interaction plays a crucial role in improving the catalytic activity of oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Here we modulate the catalyst–support interaction in polyaniline-supported Ni_(3)Fe oxide(Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI)with a robust hetero-interface,which significantly improves oxygen evolution activities with an overpotential of 270 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)and specific activity of 2.08 mA cm_(ECSA)^(-2)at overpotential of 300 mV,3.84-fold that of Ni_(3)Fe *** is revealed that the catalyst–support interaction between Ni_(3)Fe oxide and PANI support enhances the Ni–O covalency via the interfacial Ni–N bond,thus promoting the charge and mass transfer on Ni_(3)Fe *** the excellent activity and stability,rechargeable Zn-air batteries with optimum Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI are assembled,delivering a low charge voltage of 1.95 V to cycle for 400 h at 10 mA cm^(-2).The regulation of the effect of catalyst–support interaction on catalytic activity provides new possibilities for the future design of highly efficient OER catalysts.

Aim:To describe the current practise of living donor liver transplantation(LDLT)for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),including the patient selection criteria,surgical techniques,management of small-for-size syndrome,postoperative complications,and the results of our units,in the Liver Transplant Centre of Queen Mary Hospital,hong kong,one of the high-volume centres for LDLT in ***:Our centre practises careful selection for HCC patients using the university of California,San Francisco(UCSF)criteria,supplemented by alpha-fetoprotein level and the model for end-stage liver disease *** flexibility is offered to enthusiastic donors and recipients in LDLT while balancing the risks and *** pioneered in using the extended right lobe graft and the novel hepatic venoplasty technique,which lessen the risk of hyperperfusion and small-for-size syndrome with improved overall recipient *** were collected prospectively and presented as the mean values and ranges,or the number of patients in proportion of total patient ***:Of our patients,74.9% met the UCSF criteria,and 64.5% met the Milan criteria.A 5-year overall and disease-free survival rate of 78.9% and 76.3% were ***:LDLT is an ideal treatment for HCC in hong kong with regard to the critical organ shortage and high demand for *** current surgical techniques and post-transplant surveillance contribute to the positive outcome.

The developments of Internet and e-commerce provide a new market place to businessman to sell their products and allow people to buy products via Internet as well as to create a new shopping media to consumers. The study aims to investigate the factors affecting consumers' purchase decision via Internet and how product characteristics affect cyber shopping in hong kong. The study has revealed that the security of personal data,delivery time, product brand and price were the major concerns for developing cyber market. For marketing apparel products, brand loyalty becomes very important since consumers' judging confidence on the products can be increased in terms of fitting standards and quality aspects.

Since the 19th century,Chinese societies,as latecomers to modernization,have prioritized Western *** on European and North American experiences,modern universities were created to serve this *** little linkage to their indigenous cultural traditions,they operate in Confucian socio-cultural contexts,with constant and longstanding struggles with their cultural *** recent decades,these societies have progressed remarkably well in higher *** experience could be seen as a cultural experiment that is placed highly on their sustainable development *** products of their modern education systems especially at the elite level have demonstrated a grasp of both traditional and Western knowledge,with their very best universities well positioned to combine Chinese and Western ideas of a university in everyday *** a bi-cultural condition contrasts sharply to the still largely mono-cultural(Western only)university operating environment in the *** integration opens further space for their universities to explore an alternative to the Western academic model that has long dominated world higher *** on fieldwork at premier universities in Beijing,hong kong,Singapore,and Taipei,this article calls for a reconceptualized view of modern university development in Chinese *** argues that the experiment enables their top universities to bring back their cultural traditions to integrate with Western values and contribute to inter-civilizational dialogue.

The soaring demand for smart portable electronics and electric vehicles is propelling the advancements in high-energy–density lithium-ion *** manganese iron phosphate (LiMnxFe1-xPO4) has garnered significant attention as a promising positive electrode material for lithium-ion batteries due to its advantages of low cost,high safety,long cycle life,high voltage,good high-temperature performance,and high energy *** LiMnxFe1-xPO4has made significant breakthroughs in the past few decades,there are still facing great challenges in poor electronic conductivity and Li-ion diffusion,manganese dissolution affecting battery cycling performance,as well as low tap *** review systematically summarizes the reaction mechanisms,various synthesis methods,and electrochemical properties of LiMnxFe1-xPO4to analyze reaction processes accurately and guide material ***,the main challenges currently faced are concluded,and the corresponding various modification strategies are discussed to enhance the reaction kinetics and electrochemical performance of LiMnxFe1-xPO4,including multi-scale particle regulation,heteroatom doping,surface coating,as well as microscopic morphology ***,in view of the current research challenges faced by intrinsic reaction processes,kinetics,and energy storage applications,the promising research directions are *** importantly,it is expected to provide key insights into the development of high-performance and stable LiMnxFe1-xPO4materials,to achieve practical energy storage requirements.
