Objective:This study aimed to examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Behavioral Inhibition System/Behavioral Activation System(BIS/BAS)scales among stroke ***:The cross-sectional study was conducted at four comprehensive hospitals in Taizhou,Jiangsu,China.A sample of 232 first-ever stroke survivors were recruited from June to August *** was examined using face validity and construct validity,which used confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)and known-group *** was evaluated by internal consistency and test-retest ***:The BIS/BAS scales demonstrated satisfactory face *** findings of CFAs supported the original four-factor structure of BAS-reward,BAS-drive,BAS-fun seeking,and BIS with acceptable model fit *** validity,assessed via known-group analysis,indicated that stroke survivors with probable depression had significantly lower mean BAS-reward,BAS-drive,and BAS-fun seeking scores(P<0.001)and a higher mean BIS score(P=0.028)compared to those without probable *** internal consistency,measured by Cronbach’s a coefficients for the subscales,ranged from 0.669 to ***-retest reliability,assessed using intra-class correlation coefficients,ranged from 0.61 to ***:The Chinese version of the BIS/BAS scales could be a reliable and valid instrument for measuring behavioral activation among stroke survivors.

Objective： The aim of this project was to train highly professional and specialized nursing students from medical colleges to adapt to bedside clinical care by exploring and discussing various methods of injection and IV infusion in animal experimentation to hone the core professional nursing competencies. Methods： Two classes from the 2012 senior graduating nursing class were randomly selected by a computer to conduct the diversified practical teaching methods based on animal experimentation. A hospital environment was simulated by requiring students to perform different types of injections and practical IV infusion techniques. A comprehensive evaluation of the core professional competencies, as well as other integrated competencies, was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the teaching methods. Results： Two-sampled, pairwise u-tests were performed between the scores of the experimental （nursing class 2） and control （nursing class 1） groups. These findings showed that the overall test scores were significantly higher in the experimental group compared to the control group and that the average P-values for the competencies in various categories were 〈0.01, which indicated statistically significant results. Conclusions： Based on the data from this project, diversified teaching methods for basic nursing training founded on animal experimentation can help nursing students perfect their core professional competencies and improve their overall professional standing. The introduction of animal experimentation requires further verification, and an increased acknowledgement of its benefits through the widespread dissemination of this information.

Cancer is the major cause of death worldwide and in the local community. Due to the aging population and changes in lifestyle of the citizens, it is expected that the incidence of cancer will continue to increase. In fact, according to the World Health Organization, about 30% of cancer death can be prevented. The fight against cancer relies on support from the government, together with collaborations with the policymakers, healthcare professionals, and the public. Legislation can act as a tool for cancer prevention. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the global cancer burden and to describe how cancer legislation acts as a tool for cancer prevention in the Hong Kong region.

Objectives: To explore the main points of perioperative nursing for adult congenital heart disease with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension. Methods: A retrospective study of 13 patients with congenital heart disease and severe pulmonary arterial hypertension who admitted to the perioperative period of care from January 2018 to December 2019. To prevent perioperative complications of the patients, the focus is on respiratory and circulatory system care, followed by blood coagulation monitoring, digestive system protection and psychological care. Results: All 13 patients passed the perioperative period and were discharged from ICU. Conclusion: Adult congenital heart disease with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension has high perioperative risk, respiratory and circulatory system care is the key.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the most common chronic liver disease *** mechanism of NAFLD has been well studied and it has been previously reported that there are some predisposing genetic polymorphisms of NAFLD,e.g.,genes such as fat mass and obesity-associated(FTO)overexpression,leading to triglyceride accumulation,via upregulation of lipogenic genes has been reported.1 An earlier study of a 20-gene set published in 2014 has been correlated with NAFLD severity.2 Adiposity plays an important role in the amplification of the genetic risk of NAFLD-including three variants:PNPLA3,TM6SF2,and GCKR genes.

Background: Septic shock is a rapidly changing and fatal syndrome that can cause comprehensive deterioration of cardiopulmonary and renal function and multiple organ failure. At the same time, septic shock has the complex clinical manifestations and hemodynamics. PiCCO can accurately monitor blood flow, physical and volume indicators, and active and effective fluid resuscitation are important measures to reduce the fatality rate of septic shock and improve the prognosis of patients. Objectives: To explore the application and nursing of PiCCO in early fluid resuscitation in patients with septic shock. Methods: This was a retrospective observational study. The observation group and the control group each had 30 cases. The observation group used PiCCO to guide fluid resuscitation;the control group used conventional methods to guide fluid resuscitation. The changes in CVP, HR, MAP, and urine volume per hour were observed in the two groups. The changes of various indicators before and after fluid resuscitation, the length of stay in ICU and the mortality rate were compared between the two groups. All the outcomes were collected from the electronic medical case system after patients’ discharge from the hospital. Results:

There are increasing concerns about internet gaming disorder (IGD). No review of existing studies has systematicallyanalyzed and visualized the trends of IGD and those early identification of symptoms related to IGD *** critical review focuses on the emerging trends for early identification of symptoms related to IGDbehaviors in papers published in Web of Science Core Collection from 2009 to 2021 by scientometric analysisand critical review. Scientometric data analysis technique includes co-occurrence analysis, cluster analysis andburst analysis of authors, countries, keywords and co-citation to visualize those contributing and associated factorsto develop IGD behaviors and their relationships to mental-emotional symptoms. About 81.8% of the paperswere published in the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, China and South Korea. Thetop co-occurrence keywords were ‘children’, ‘depression’, ‘anxiety’ and ‘attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)’, ‘scale’, identifying the population, characteristics and commonly used assessment tools that are susceptibleto certain symptoms relating to IGD of which influencing factors facilitate the understanding of the associationof sociodemographic characteristics. The main emerging topics were identified in this critical review afterconducted the scientometric analysis. The results identified five topics: game impulse, motivation, evaluationscale, mediating effects and diagnostic criteria. This study provides an overview of the research trends on theidentity and development of the IGD field of study.

BACKGROUND The single nucleotide polymorphisms of interleukin-21(IL-21)gene were confirmed to be related to various diseases,but no studies have examined the possible role of IL-21 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)(rs907715,rs2221903,and rs12508721)in gastric precancerous *** To explore the associations between SNPs of IL-21 gene(rs907715,rs2221903,and rs12508721)and gastric precancerous lesions in a Chinese *** Three SNPs of IL-21 were genotyped using polymerase chain reaction–ligase detection reaction in 588 cases and 290 healthy controls from May 2013 to December 2016 in northwestern *** precancerous lesions were confirmed by endoscopic examination and categorized as non-atrophic gastritis,atrophic gastritis,and intestinal *** statistic and logistic regression were used for data *** IL-21 rs907715 genotype CC and C frequencies were higher in in patients with gastric precancerous lesions than in the controls(OR=1.59,95%CI:1.06-2.38,P=0.013;OR=1.28,95%CI:1.01-2.22,P=0.044,respectively)after adjusting for confounding *** SNP rs907715 in intestinal metaplasia patients,significant differences between cases and controls were observed in the frequencies of genotype CC and C(OR=1.92,95%CI:1.24-2.98,P=0.004;OR=1.53,95%CI:1.04-2.24,P=0.028,respectively);for non-atrophic gastritis and atrophic gastritis patients,the CC and C genotypes showed no significant association with risk in all *** association between either rs2221903 or rs12508721 and gastric precancerous lesions was found in the present *** the haplotype analysis,the TC haplotype(rs907715 and rs12508721)and TT haplotype(rs2221903 and rs907715)were more frequent in the case group than control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Our findings indicate that SNP rs907715 of IL-21 gene is associated with gastric precancerous *** TC haplotype(rs907715 and rs12508721)and TT haplotype(rs2221903 and rs907715)increased the risk of gastric pre
