The global demand for textile products is rapidly increasing due to population growth,rising living standards,economic development,and fast fashion *** growth and transformation plan(GTP)gives high priorities for the textile and apparel sectors to transform its agriculturally led economy to an industrial-based *** achieve this,the number of tex-tile and apparel industries is rapidly ***,the rapid growth in textile industry is generating mountains and mountains of *** this review,possible applications of cotton stalk and cotton ginning waste in a variety of technologies and products are discussed in Ethiopian *** finding of this study shows that Ethiopian current cotton cultivating area is about 80000 hm^(2),even though the country has a potential of about 3000810 hm^(2) land for cotton *** the current cultivated area,more than 240000 t of cotton stalk and 9240 t of cotton ginning trash have been generated as a *** only a very little portion of the cotton stalk is being used as a raw fuel for household purposes and a small portion of cotton ginning trash is used for animal ***,these underutilized lignocellulosic biomasses can be used as raw materials for producing different high-value biomaterials and thus country can perceive an economic and environmental benefit.A closer look at the structure and composition of the by-products shows that the whole part of cotton stalk and ginning waste can be used as a source of cellulose which can be exploited for conversion into a number of high-value ***,conversion of the waste into valuable products can make cotton stalk and ginning by-products an attractive raw material for the production of high value bio-products.

An intelligent agent is any program that can be considered by the user to be acting as an assistant or helper, rather than as a tool in the manner of a conventional direct-manipulation interface. An agent should as well display some, but perhaps not all, of the characteristics that are associated with human intelligence: learning, inference, adaptability,independence, creativity, etc.. In order to make webbased education (WBE) more vividly and instructionally with learner's independence at the same time, the intelligent agent can act as a learning pet, which is affiliated with learner's score or grades and will grow up with learner's achievement. And during the course of study, the learning pet can provides any information required by the learner, gives hints if necessary when the learner doing his/her assignment, offers instructional guide for further study etc..

A theoretical study on the alkene insertion step in Rh-Yanphos catalyzed hydroformylation

This paper studied the mechanism of the alkene insertion elementary step in the asymmetric hydroformylation （AHF） catalyzed by RhH（CO）2[（R,S）-Yanphos] using four alkene substrates （CH2=CH- Ph, CH2=CH-Ph-（p）-Me, CH2=CH-C（==O）OCH3 and CH2=CH-OC（=O）-Ph, abbreviated as A1-A4）. Interestingly, the equatorial vertical coordination mode （A mode） with respect to the Rh center was found for AI and A2 but not for A3 and A4, although the equatorial in-plane coordination mode （E mode） was found for A1 -A4. The relative energy of the E mode of the -q2-intermediates is lower than that of the A mode. In the alkene insertion step, Path 1 is more favorable than Path 2 for this system. As for AI and A2, there could be a transformation between 2eq and 2ax.

Self-powered nanofiber-based screen-print triboelectric sensors for respiratory monitoring

Scientific and commercial advances have set high requirements for wearable electronics. However, the power supply, breathability, and mass production of wearable electronics still have many challenges that need to be overcome. In this study, a self-powered nanofiber-based triboelectric sensor （SNTS） was fabricated by batch-scale fabrication technologies using electrospinning and screen-printing for health monitoring via respiratory monitoring. Typically, an arch structural SNTS is assembled by a nanofiber membrane and a Ag nanoparticle electrode. The pile of nanofibers and the conductive network of Ag nanoparticles ensure a gas channel across the whole device. The gas permeability of the SNTS was as high as 6.16 mm/s, which has overwhelming advantages when compared with commonly used wearable devices composed of air-tight cast films. Due to the softness of the nanofiber membrane, the SNTS showed excellent electronic output performance irrespective of whether it was bent, twisted, or folded. The superior properties, such as breathability, skin-friendliness, self-power, and batch fabrication of SNTS offer huge potential for their application in healthcare monitoring and multifunctional intelligent systems.

Expert System for 3D Collar Intelligent Design

A method to set up 3D collar prototype is developed in this paper by using the technique of cubic spline and bicubic surface patch. Then the relationship between the parameters of 3D collar prototype and different collar styles are studied. Based on the relationship, we can develop some algorithms of transferring style requirements to the parameters value of the collar prototype, and obtain some generation rules for the design of 3D collar style. As such, the knowledge base can be constructed, and the intelligent design system of 3D collar style is built. Using the system, various 3D collar styles can be designed automatically to satisfy various style requirements.

Highly Durable and Fast Response Fabric Strain Sensor for Movement Monitoring Under Extreme Conditions

The exploration of smart electronic textiles is a common goal to improve people’s quality of ***,current smart e-textiles still face challenges such as being prone to failure under humid or cold conditions,lack of washing durability and chemical ***,a multifunctional strain sensor with a negative resistance change was developed based on the excellent elasticity of knitted fabrics.A reduced graphene oxide(rGO)conductive fabric was first obtained by electrostatic self-assembly of chitosan(CS).Then a strain sensor was prepared using a dip-coating process to adsorb nanoscale silica dioxide and poly(dimethylsiloxane)(PDMS).A broad working range of 60%,a fast response time(22 ms)and stable cycling durability over 4000 cycles were simultaneously achieved using the prepared ***,the sensor showed excel-lent superhydrophobicity,photothermal effects and UV protection,as graphene,silica and PDMS acted in *** multifunctional sensor could be mounted on human joints to perform tasks,including activity monitoring,medical rehabili-tation evaluation and gesture recognition,due to its superior electromechanical *** on its multiple superior properties,this sensor could be used as winter sportswear for athletes to track their actions without being impacted by water and as a warmer to ensure the wearer's comfort.

Development of a New-type Sweating Manikin System

Optimization of AWJM Process Parameters on 3D-Printed Onyx-Glass Fiber Hybrid Composite

Compared with conventional manufacturing methods, the additive manufacturing technique enhances mechanical properties. The present investigation of additive manufacturing technique is focused on delamination studies of Onyx-Glass Fiber Hybrid Polymer Composite(OGFHPC) along with surface roughness properties during machining(drilling) of composites through abrasive water jet machining(AWJM). However, delamination is a major issue during machining of OGFHPC. In order to overcome these drawbacks, the fabrication of OGFHPC was carried out using fused deposition modeling(FDM) technology which is an additive manufacturing method with Mark forged Mark Two 3D-composite printer. The machinability studies were conducted for drilling operation through AWJM process with different abrasive mass flow rates, drilling diameters and traverse speeds. These drilling machinability process parameters were optimized through the design of experiments-Taguchi analysis followed by the analysis of variance(ANOVA) and validated through the Harmony Search Algorithm(HSA), Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA) and Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm(GWO). It was observed that minimum delamination and surface roughness of OGFHPC were optimized for AWJM at abrasive mass flow rates(450 g/min), drilling diameters(12 mm) and traverse speed rate(30 mm/min).

Salt-Containing Extractive Distillation of 1-Propanol/Water System *** of Salt Effect on Vapor Liquid Equilibrium

This paper has studied the vapor-liquid equilibrium （VLE） for the salt-containing extractive distillation of the 1-propanol/water system. Binary VLE data were measured for the systems of 1-propanol （1）/KAc （4）, ethanediol （3）/KAc （4）, and 1-propanol （1）/ethanediol （3）, with the VLE data correlated with the NRTL model in order to obtain the model parameters of these binary systems. The binary VLE data cited in technical literature were correlated to obtain the model parameters for other binary systems. VLE data of ternary and quaternary systems predicted by the NRTI.： model agreed well with the literature data. The influence of KAc, ethanediol, and the KAc/ethanediol mixture on volatility between 1-propanol and water was investigated respectively. Test results showed that the above-mentioned materials （KAc, ethanediol） and their mixture （KAc and ethanediol） have different influence on the volatility. When x3=0.5, and x4=0.05, the azeotropic point can be elimi- nated. The NRTL model method of salt-containing VLE is simple and effective for the prediction of the system＇s VLE data.
