Macrocycle confinement induced guest near-infrared(NIR)luminescence was research hotspot *** in,we reported a cucurbit[7]uril(CB[7])confined 3,7-bis((E)-2-(pyridin-4-yl)vinyl)-10-Hphenothiazine bridged bis(4-(4-bromophenyl)pyridine)(G),which not only boosted its NIR luminescence but also realized detection of HClO/ClO^(-)in living cells and lysosome *** spectroscopy experiments were performed to calculate the detection ability of probe G to HClO/ClO^(-)up to 147 nmol/*** compared with G,supramolecular probe G■CB[7]formed after encapsulated by CB[7],the detection ability towards HClO/ClO^(-)was improved to 24 nmol/L which was ascribe to the macrocycle CB[7]confinement increasing the fluorescence intensity to 103 *** the excitation wavelength changing,the fluorescence red-shifted to 820 nm when excited by 570 nm light,which was used to NIR lysosome ***,the supramolecular assembly G■CB[7]was also successfully used to highly sense to exogenous HClO/ClO^(-)in RAW 264.7 cells and live animal.

Marine microorganisms have long been recognized as potential sources for drug *** was one of the first antifungal natural products and has been used as an antifungal agent for *** this study,12 new griseofulvin derivatives[(±)-1-2,(+)-3,(±)-4,10-12,and 14-15]and two new griseofulvin natural products(9 and 16)together with six known analogues[(-)-3,5-8,and 13]were isolated from the mangrove-derived fungus Nigrospora ***1 treated with 0.3%NaCl or 2%NaBr in rice solid *** 2D structures and absolute configurations were established by extensive spectroscopic analysis(1D and 2D NMR,HRESIMS),ECD spectra,computational calculation,DP4+analysis,and X-ray single-crystal *** 1-4 represent the first griseofulvin enantiomers with four absolute configurations(2S,6'S;2R,6'R;2S,6'R;2R,6'S),and compounds 9-12 represent the first successful production of brominated griseofulvin derivatives from fungi via the addition of NaBr to the culture *** the antifungal assays,compounds 6 and 9 demonstrated significant inhibitory activities against the fungi Colletotrichum truncatum,Microsporum gypseum,and Trichophyton mentagrophyte with inhibition zones varying between 28 and 41 mm(10μg/disc).The structure-activity relationship(SAR)was analyzed,which showed that substituents at C-6,C-7,C-6'and the positions of the carbonyl and double bond of griseofulvin derivatives significantly affected the antifungal activity.

The physicochemical properties， structural characteristics， antioxidant， radioprotective and lipid-lowering activities， as well as the underlying structure-activity relationships of polysaccharides extracted from Nostoc flagelliforme grown under normal （WL-EPS-1）， salt stress （NaCl-EPS-1） and mixotrophic culture conditions （Glu-EPS-1） were studied. The results demonstrated that WL-EPS-1， NaCl-EPS-1 and Glu-EPS-1 were heteropolysaccharides comprising different proportions of monosaccharides and uronic acid， with different average molecular weights of 0.99 × 103， 1.09 × 103and 1.18 × 103kDa， respectively. Their intrinsic viscosity values were significantly different， at 24.72 dL/g， 29.98 dL/g and 41.06 dL/g， respectively. The functional groups of polysaccharides were not greatly affected， but the chemical composition， triple-helix structure， chain length and surface morphology were significantly influenced by culture conditions. In vitro bioactivity assays showed that the antioxidant activity generally increased in the order of WL-EPS-1 < NaCl-EPS-1 < Glu-EPS-1， while NaCl-EPS-1 had the best radioprotective effect， and Glu-EPS-1 had the best lipid-lowering effect. In addition， the structure-activity relationship of the polysaccharides was analyzed by Partial Least Squares （PLS）， which revealed that the most important factors affecting the antioxidant， radioprotective and lipid-lowering activities of polysaccharides were viscosity and molecular weight. This study provides a strategy for obtaining high-bioactivity polysaccharides by appropriate regulation of culture conditions， as well as opening new directions for the molecular modification of polysaccharides.

Dear Editor,Hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)is one of the most common infectious diseases,particularly in the Asia-Pacific *** the past two decades,HFMD rises to prominence for its heavy burden,with over one million cases reported *** 2013,enterovirus A71(EV-A71)and Coxsackievirus A16(CVA16)were the main pathogens leading to HFMD in the mainland of China(Yang et al.,2017).In recent years,non-EV-A71-non-CVA16 other enteroviruses,such as Coxsackievirus A6(CVA6),Coxsackievirus A10(CVA10)and Coxsackievirus A4(CVA4),were frequently reported and replaced EV-A71 and CVA16 becoming the major causative agents of HFMD(Zhou et al.,2021;Wang et al.,2022).

Feline panleukopenia virus(FPV)is a single-stranded DNA virus that can infect cats and cause feline panleukopenia,which is a highly contagious and fatal disease in *** sequence of FPV is highly variable,and mutations in the amino acids of its capsid protein play crucial roles in altering viral virulence,immunogenicity,host selection,and other *** this study,the epidemiology of FPV was studied using 746 gastrointestinal swab samples derived from cats that presented gastrointestinal symptoms specifcally,diarrhea or vomiting during the period spanning from 2018 to *** overall prevalence of FPV-positive patients among these samples was determined to be 45.4%.Capsid(virion)protein 2(VP2)gene of each FPV-positive sample was sequenced and amplifed,yielding 65 VP2 *** them,six VP2 gene sequences were detected in the majority of the samples test positive for FPV,and these positive samples originated from a diverse range of geographical *** isolates were named FPV-6,FPV-10,FPV-15,FPV-251,FPV-271 and ***,the substitution of Ala300Pro(A300P)in VP2 was detected for the frst time in feline-derived FPV(FPV-251).FPV-251 isolate,with this substitution in VP2 protein,exhibited stable proliferative capacity in Madin-Darby canine kidney(MDCK)cells and A72 ***-271 was selected as the FPV control isolate due to its single amino acid diference from VP2 protein of FPV-251 at position 300(FPV-271 has alanine,while FPV-251 has proline).After oral infection,both FPV-251 and FPV-271 isolates caused feline panleukopenia,which is characterized by clinical signs of ***,FPV-251 can infect dogs through the oral route and cause gastrointestinal(GI)symptoms with lesions in the intestine and mesenteric lymph nodes(MLNs)of infected *** is the frst report on the presence of an A300P substitution in VP2 protein of feline-derived ***,FPV isolate with a substitution of A300P at VP2 protein demonstrated

Blast disease,caused by the hemibiotrophic ascomycete fungus,Magnaporthe oryzae,is a significant threat to sustainable rice production *** have shown that the blast fungus secretes vast arrays of functionally diverse proteins into the host cell for a successful disease ***,the final destinations of these effector proteins inside the host cell and their role in advancing fungal pathogenesis remain a ***,we reported that a putative mitochondrial targeting non-classically secreted protein(MoMtp)positively regulates conidiogenesis and appressorium maturation in ***,MoM TP gene deletion mutant strains triggered a hypersensitive response when inoculated on rice leaves displaying that MoMtp is essential for the virulence of *** addition,cell wall and oxidative stress results indicated that MoMtp is likely involved in the maintenance of the structural integrity of the fungus *** study also demonstrates an upregulation in the expression pattern of the MoMTP gene at all stages of infection,indicating its possible regulatory role in host invasion and the infectious development of ***,Agrobacterium infiltration and sheath inoculation confirmed that MoMtpGFP protein is predominantly localized in the host mitochondria of tobacco leaf and rice *** together,we conclude that MoMtp protein likely promotes the normal conidiation and pathogenesis of *** and might have a role in disturbing the proper functioning of the host mitochondria during pathogen invasion.

Gut-liver-brain axis is a three-way highway of information interaction system among the gastrointestinal tract,liver,and nervous *** the past few decades,breakthrough progress has been made in the gut liver brain axis,mainly through understanding its formation mechanism and increasing treatment *** this review,we discuss various complex networks including barrier permeability,gut hormones,gut microbial metabolites,vagus nerve,neurotransmitters,immunity,brain toxic metabolites,β-amyloid(Aβ)metabolism,and epigenetic regulation in the gut-liver-brain *** therapies containing antibiotics,probiotics,prebiotics,synbiotics,fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT),polyphenols,low FODMAP diet and nanotechnology application regulate the gut liver brain ***,some special treatments targeting gut-liver axis include farnesoid X receptor(FXR)agonists,takeda G protein-coupled receptor 5(TGR5)agonists,glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)receptor antagonists and fibroblast growth factor 19(FGF19)*** gut-brain axis embraces cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT),antidepressants and tryptophan metabolism-related *** liver-brain axis contains epigenetic regulation and Aβmetabolism-related *** the future,a better understanding of gut-liver-brain axis interactions will promote the development of novel preventative strategies and the discovery of precise therapeutic targets in multiple diseases.

Dear editor,Vaccines are the most efficient and effective means to prevent infectious diseases,but improving the long-term protective efficacy is still a major challenge in contemporary vaccine development.1 The waning immunity varies depending on the diversification of the pathogen and the number of booster doses.1 Strategies to overcome this warrant is using adjuvants that amplify the immune response,and drive the production of memory B and T cells or long-lived plasma cells that recognize the pathogen for durable protection.2–4 Although existing adjuvants have achieved promising results,research on generating durable protective immunity is lacking in promoting vaccine development and staying ahead of global pandemics such as coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).The precisely designed nanoadjuvants can enhance lymph node targeting and increase antigenpresenting cell(APCs)uptake,achieving the co-delivery of adjuvants and antigens and activating innate and adaptive immune responses.5 Previously,we reported a manganese nanoadjuvant(MnARK)and receptor-binding domain(RBD)monomer antigen formulated nanovaccine.6 MnARK transported antigens to lymph nodes,activated the STING pathway,elicited strong neutralizing abilities and increased immune memory T cell percentage against the infection of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).6 Regarding the long-term protection potential of MnARK for subunit vaccine development,we further explored the durable immune regulation abilities of MnARK to a SARS-CoV-2 RBD dimer antigen,which has been used in an approved COVID-19 subunit vaccine ZF2001 with aluminum adjuvant(alum).7,8 TEM result revealed that RBD dimer could interact with BSA on MnARK surface and epitope can be well preserved(Supplementary Fig.1a).The size and zeta potential of MnARK-RBD dimer nanovaccine was~58 nm and-14 mV,respectively(Supplementary Fig.1b,c).
