BACKGROUND Breast cancer is among the most common malignancies *** progress in treatment methods and levels,the overall survival period has been prolonged,and the demand for quality care has *** To investigate the effect of individualized and continuous care intervention in patients with breast *** Two hundred patients with breast cancer who received systemic therapy at The First affiliated hospital of hebei North university(January 2021 to July 2023)were retrospectively selected as research *** them,134 received routine care intervention(routing group)and 66 received personalized and continuous care(intervention group).Self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS),and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B)scores,including limb shoulder joint activity,complication rate,and care satisfaction,were compared between both groups after *** SAS and SDS scores were lower in the intervention group than in the routing group at one and three months after *** total FACT-B scores and five dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those in the routing group at three months of *** range of motion of shoulder anteflexion,posterior extension,abduction,internal rotation,and external rotation in the intervention group was higher than that in the routing group one month after *** incidence of postoperative complications was 18.18%lower in the intervention group than in the routing group(34.33%;P<0.05).Satisfaction with care was 90.91% higher in the intervention group than in the routing group(78.36%;P<0.05).CONCLUSION Personalized and continuous care can alleviate negative emotions in patients with breast cancer,quicken rehabilitation of limb function,decrease the incidence of complications,and improve living quality and care satisfaction.

With lanthanum(La) in agriculture, medicine, and the chemical industry, La shows accumulation in the body, especially in the bone, because of its similar structure to calcium. Moreover, La has a direct role in bone formation regulating osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Nevertheless, bone formation is complex under the regulation of osteogenesis, osteoclastogenesis, and angiogenesis in the bone microenvironment. It is difficult to comprehensively understand the regulation of bone homeostasis from a single kind of ***, some bone microenvironment-related cells and mouse calvaria culture models were used to study the regulatory effect of La-based compound-lanthanum nitrate(La(NO_(3))_(3)) on bone ***(NO_(3))_(3) has good biological safety, and the osteogenic differentiation is significantly increased under La(NO_(3))_(3) treatment for bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSC). In contrast, the differentiation,maturation, and bone erosion ability of osteoclasts are significantly decreased. Meanwhile, the angiogenesis ability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) is significantly promoted when treated with La(NO_(3))_(3). Furthermore, bone metabolism and angiogenesis are improved under La(NO_(3))_(3) treatment in the calvaria ex vivo culture model and BMMSC-HUVEC co-culture system. These results suggest that La has the beneficial effect of promoting bone metabolism and improving bone formation in the bone microenvironment.

Increasing evidence suggests that deregulated RNA splicing factors play critical roles in tumorigenesis; however, their specific involvement in colon cancer remains largely unknown. Here we report that the splicing factor RBM25 is overexpressed in colon cancer, and this increased expression correlates with a poor prognosis of patients with colon cancer. Functionally, RBM25 ablation suppresses the growth of colon cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, our transcriptome-wide analysis of splicing events revealed that RBM25 regulates a large number of cancer-related alternative splicing events across the human genome in colon cancer. Particularly, RBM25 regulates the splicing of MNK2 by interacting with the poly G rich region in exon 14a, thereby inhibiting the selection of the proximal 3'splice site(ss), resulting in the production of the oncogenic short isoform, MNK2b. Knockdown of RBM25 leads to an increase in the MNK2a isoform and a decrease in the MNK2b isoform. Importantly, re-expression of MNK2b or blocking the 3′ ss of the alternative exon 14a with ASO partially reverses the RBM25 knockdown mediated tumor suppression. Moreover, MNK2b levels were significantly increased in colon cancer tissues, which is positively correlated with the expression level of RBM25. Collectively, our findings uncover the critical role of RBM25 as a key splicing factor in colon cancer, suggesting its potential as a prognostic marker and therapeutic target.
