A Fast Insertion Tabu Search with Conflict-Avoidance Heuristic for the Multisatellite Multimode Crosslink Scheduling Problem

An agile earth-observing satellite equipped with multimode cameras capable of transmitting observation data to other satellites is developed to rapidly respond to requests with multiple observation *** gives rise to the Multisatellite Multimode Crosslink Scheduling(MMCS)problem,which involves allocating observation requests to agile satellites,selecting appropriate timing and observation modes for the requests,and transmitting the data to the ground station via the satellite communication ***,a mixed integer programming model is introduced to include all complex time and operation *** solve the MMCS problem,a two-stage heuristic method,called Fast insertion Tabu Search with Conflict-avoidance(FTS-C)heuristic,is *** the first stage,a conflict-avoidance insertion algorithm is designed to generate a high-quality initial solution by considering the requests transmission and ***,the tabu search-based second stage optimizes the initial ***,an extensive empirical study based on a real-world situation demonstrates that FTS-C can generate a solution with higher quality in less time than other state-of-the-art algorithms and the CPLEX solver.

Targets detecting in the ocean using the cross-polarized channels of fully polarimetric SAR data

Azimuth ambiguities （ghost targets） discrimination is of great interest with the development of a synthet- ic aperture radar （SAR）. And the azimuth ambiguities are often mistaken as actual targets and cause false alarms. For actual targets, HV channel signals acquired by a fully polarimetric SAR are approximately equal to a VH channel in magnitude and phase, i.e., the reciprocity theorem applies, but shifted in phase about ±π for the first-order azimuth ambiguities. Exploiting this physical behavior, the real part of the product of the two cross-polarized channels, i.e. （SHVSVH）, hereafter called A12r, is employed as a new parameter for a target detection at sea. Compared with other parameters, the contrast of A12r image between a target and the surrounding sea surface will be obviously increased when A12r image is processed by mean filtering algo- rithm. Here, in order to detect target with constant false-alarm rates （CFARs）, an analytical expression for the probability density function （pdf） ofA12r is derived based on the complexWishart-distribution. Because a value of A12r is greater/less than 0 for real target/its azimuth ambiguities, the first-order azimuth ambiguities can be completely removed by this A12r-based CFAR technology. Experiments accomplished over C-band RADARSAT-2 fully polarimetric imageries confirm the validity.

A Discussion on Fault Activity Based on Cross-fault Observations in the Capital Circle Region of China and Its Relationship with Earthquakes

In this paper, we made a systematic study on more than 40 years of observational data of ten temporary fault-crossing measurement sites in the capital circle region of China. We calculated horizontal and vertical components of fault slip, and horizontal extension or compression components. Considering the tectonic characteristics of the capital circle region and regional seismicity, we analyzed the present fault activity of the capital circle region and the relationship with earthquakes. The results show the complexity of fault activity in the region： the level of activity of all faults is low, most faults are left-lateral strike-slip faults; there is less vertical activity than horizontal activity and crustal movement is controlled by horizontal movement; fault activity and earthquake activity have a certain relationship, regional fault activity increases before an earthquake, and fault activity has certain abnormal features before strong earthquakes.

As a promising high capacity anode material for lithium ion batteries, the lithium insertion performance and possible insertion mechanism of binary alloy of NiSi2 were discussed. The initial lithium insertion of crystal NiSi2 can reach up to 600 mAh·g-1, but large irreversible capacity occurrs simultaneously for serious structure transformation and the irreversible phase forms. XRD and XPS were employed to detect the crystal structure and composition changes produced by lithium insertion. The lithium insertion-extraction behavior of NiSi2 electrode is similar to that of silicon after the first discharge. The structure stability seems related to the non-stoichimometric Ni-Si compound formed by lithium insertion into NiSi2.

Objective:Isolated gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH) deficiency(IGD) pertains to a group of genetic disorders consisting of anosmic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism(Kallmann syndrome,KS) and normosmic idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism(nIHH).KS is genetically ***:We hereby present 5 young male patients with GnRH deficiency caused by mutations in the KAL1 *** ages ranged from 9 months to 16 *** were referred to our department for an endocrine consultation for ***:Hormone assays showed low circulating gonadotropins and *** studies revealed KAL1 mutations in all cases,three reported nonsense sequence variants in the KAL1 gene were detected in 4 patients,respectively(c.784 C > T(*** 262*),C.1267 C > T(***423*),and C.1270 C > T(***424*)),and one patient harbored a novel hemizygous sequence variant[c.227 G > A(***76*)].Only one patient presented short stature without growth hormone deficiency and *** patient had bilateral eyelid ptosis,trichiasis,and refractive ***:This is the first report on the co-occurrence of a KAL1 gene mutation and tent-like upper lip in four *** of our cases had normal olfactory bulbs and showed no renal agenesis,cleft lip/palate,and hearing *** cases expand our knowledge of the phenotype associated with KAL1 sequence variations,although the precise mechanism by which KAL1 gene influences the development of these phenotype is still unknown.
