Lipogenesis is often highly upregulated in breast cancer brain metastases to adapt to intracranial low lipid *** inhibitors hold therapeutic potential but their intra-tumoral distribution is often blocked by the blood-tumor barrier(BTB).BTB activates its Wnt signaling to maintain barrier properties,e.g.,Mfsd2a-mediated BTB low ***,we reported VCAM-1-targeting nano-wogonin(W@V-NPs)as an adjuvant of nano-orlistat(O@V-NPs)to intensify drug delivery and inhibit lipogenesis of brain metastases.W@V-NPs were proven to be able to inactivate BTB Wnt signaling,downregulate BTB Mfsd2a,accelerate BTB vesicular transport,and enhance tumor accumulation of O@*** the ability to specifically kill cancer cells in a lipid-deprived environment with IC_(50) at 48 ng/mL,W@V-NPs plus O@V-NPs inhibited the progression of brain metastases with prolonged survival of model *** combination did not induce brain edema,cognitive impairment,and systemic toxicity in healthy *** Wnt signaling could safely modulate the BTB to improve drug delivery and metabolic therapy against brain metastases.

Reducing kinetic energy barriers and developing accessible active sites are critical to deliver high hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)*** this paper,we synthesized defect-modulated and heteroatom(boron)-functionalized three-dimensional(3D)bowl-shaped Ti_(3−x)C_(2)T_(y)MXene(B-TCT)nanocavities coupled with the vertical growth of MoSe_(2)*** B-TCT@MoSe_(2)nanohybrids catalyst delivers the overpotentials of 49.9,52.7,and 67.8 mV to reach a HER current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)under acidic,alkaline,and neutral conditions,*** outstanding HER activity is predominantly attributed to the heteroatom functionalization,self-adapting Ti vacancy(VTi)defect modulation,and spatial configuration design in the 3D B-TCT nanocavity,which synergistically regulate the electronic structure,activate the basal plane/edge unsaturated sites,and reduce the reaction energy *** and theoretical calculations demonstrate that strong heterogeneous interfacial bonding interactions between B-TCT and MoSe_(2)can dramatically reduce the free energy of hydrogen adsorption and facilitate efficient interfacial charge migration,thus essentially improving the HER *** used this 3D porous nanohybrid system assembled by defectrich lamellar structures to elucidate the advantageous synergistic effects of multiple mechanisms among defect structure,heteroatom functionalization,and interfacial coupling,which provided important insights for the development of efficient hybridtype catalysts.

The fault characteristics of microgrids are affected by the penetration of inverter-interfaced distributed generators(IIDGs).It makes conventional protection schemes no longer *** different grid codes in different countries,IIDGs need to adopt different positive-sequence low-voltage ride-through(LVRT)control strategies during ***,conventional protection schemes have to be modified according to the specific microgrid structure and the IIDGs’LVRT *** order to adapt to different grid codes,a sequence component current-based fault control strategy and a coordinated microgrid fault detection method are proposed in this *** fault control strategy of IIDGs comprehensively considers the coordination between voltage support and fault characteristics generation,where the sequence currents are controlled *** positive-sequence current control strategy aims at supporting the microgrid voltage,whereas the negative-sequence current control strategy aims at generating or enhancing specific fault *** on the proposed fault control strategy,the grid-feeding IIDGs can be equivalent to current sources and generate or enhance the negative-sequence fault characteristics in the equivalent additional networks of negative-sequence *** fault feeder can then be accurately located by analyzing the phase relationship between the negative-sequence fault components of voltage and current phasors.A coor-dinated microgrid fault detection method based on the fault control strategy of IIDGs is *** proposed fault control method makes the fault component protection principle applicable to all types of faults under any operational modes of ***,the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed coordinated fault control and protection strategy are verified in PSCAD/EMTDC.

Tumor hypoxia severely limits the therapeutic efficacy of photodynamic therapy(PDT) for solid tumors,which is highly dependent on tissue oxygen *** this study,we developed a platinum(Ⅱ)-acetylide-based metallacycle compound bearing six 1,4-dimethylnaphthalenes(DMN) groups,and controlled the photodynamic and photothermal effects of the compound by adjusting the power of 730 nm laser to achieve reversible sensitization,storage and release of 1~O_(2) within a single *** compound formed nanoparticles by self-assembly and exhibited good water solubility and *** laser irradiation,the strong spin-orbit coupling of platinum atoms in the metallacycle facilitated 1~O_(2) *** produced 1~O_(2) was captured by the DMN carriers and transported into the hypoxic tumor,where 1~O_(2) release was triggered owing to the good photothermal effect of the extended conjugation of the *** therapy,the metallacycle serving as a photosensitizer,1~O_(2) carrier,and photothermal reagent,achieved the synergistic therapy of PDT/PTT,demonstrating the versatility of the *** study proposes a new strategy to develop phototherapy agents that are suitable for hypoxic tumors.

The performance of catalyst depends on the intrinsic activity of active sites and the structural characteristics of the ***,we simultaneously integrate single nickel(Ni)sites and platinum-nickel(PtNi)alloy nanoparticles(NPs)on a two-dimensional(2D)porous carbon nanosheet,demonstrating remarkable catalytic performance in the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).The single Ni sites can activate the oxygen molecules into key oxygen-containing intermediate that is further efficiently transferred to the adjacent PtNi alloy NPs and rapidly reduced to H_(2)O,which establishes a relay catalysis between active *** porous structure on the carbon nanosheet support promotes the transfer of active intermediates between these active sites,which assists the relay catalysis by improving mass ***,the obtained catalyst demonstrates a half-wave potential of up to 0.942 V,a high mass activity of 0.54 A·mgPt^(−1),and negligible decay of activity after 30,000 cycles,which are all superior to the commercial Pt/C catalysts with comparable loading of *** theoretical calculation results reveal that the obtained catalyst with defect structure of carbon support presents enhanced relay catalytic effect of PtNi alloy NPs and single Ni sites,ultimately realizing improved catalytic *** work provides valuable inspiration for developing low platinum loading catalyst,integrating single atoms and alloy with outstanding performance in fuel cell.

In order to solve the problem that the performance of traditional localization methods for mixed near-field sources(NFSs)and far-field sources(FFSs)degrades under impulsive noise,a robust and novel localization method is *** eliminating the impacts of impulsive noise by the weighted out-lier filter,the direction of arrivals(DOAs)of FFSs can be estimated by multiple signal classification(MUSIC)spectral peaks *** on the DOAs information of FFSs,the separation of mixed sources can be ***,the estimation of localizing parameters of NFSs can avoid two-dimension spectral peaks search by decomposing steering *** Cramer-Rao bounds(CRB)for the unbiased estimations of DOA and range under impulsive noise have been *** experiments verify that the proposed method has advantages in probability of successful estimation(PSE)and root mean square error(RMSE)compared with existing localization *** can be concluded that the proposed method is effective and reliable in the environment with low generalized signal to noise ratio(GSNR),few snapshots,and strong impulse.

Several popular time-frequency techniques,including the Wigner-Ville distribution,smoothed pseudo-Wigner-Ville distribution,wavelet transform,synchrosqueezing transform,Hilbert-Huang transform,and Gabor-Wigner transform,are investigated to determine how well they can identify damage to *** this work,a synchroextracting transform(SET)based on the short-time Fourier transform is proposed for estimating post-earthquake structural *** performance of SET for artificially generated signals and actual earthquake signals is examined with existing *** other tested techniques,SET improves frequency resolution to a great extent by lowering the influence of smearing along the time-frequency ***,interpretation and readability with the proposed method are improved,and small changes in the time-varying frequency characteristics of the damaged buildings are easily detected through the SET method.

Prototype experiments were carried out on the explosion-proof performance of the RC blast *** mass of TNT detonated in the experiments is 5 kg and 20 kg *** shock wave overpressure was tested in different *** above experiments were numerically simulated,and the simulated shock wave overpressure waveforms were compared with that tested and given by CONWEP *** results show that the numerically simulated waveform is slightly different from the test waveform,but similar to CONWEP *** dimensional analysis and numerical simulation under different working conditions,the equation for the attenuation rate of the diffraction overpressure behind the blast wall was *** to the corresponding standards,the degree of casualties and the damage degree of the brick concrete building at a certain distance behind the wall can be determined when parameters are *** above results can provide a reference for the design and construction of the reinforced concrete blast wall.

Printed circuit boards(PCBs)are representative composite materials,and their high-quality drilling machining remains a persistent challenge in the *** finishing of the cutting edge of a microdrill is crucial to drill performance in machining fine-quality holes with a prolonged tool *** miniature size involving submicron scale geometric dimensions,a complex flute shape,and low fracture toughness makes the cutting edge of microdrills susceptible to breakage and has been the primary limiting factor in edge preparation for *** this study,a newly developed cutting edge preparation method for microdrills was tested experimentally on electronic printed circuit *** proposed method,namely,shear thickening polishing,limited the cutting edge burrs and chipping on the cutting edge,and this in turn transformed the cutting edge’s radius from being sharp to ***,the edge–edge radius could be regulated by adjusting the processing *** drilling experiments were conducted to investigate the influence of different cutting edge radii on wear,hole position accuracy,nail head value,and hole wall *** proposed approach showed 20%enhancement in hole position accuracy,33%reduction in the nail head value,and 19%reduction in hole wall roughness compared with the original ***,a threshold is needed;without it,excessive shear thickening polishing will result in a blunt edge,which may accelerate the wear of the *** was identified as the primary factor that reduced hole *** study indicates that in printed circuit board machining,microdrills should effectively eliminate grinding defects and maintain the sharpness of the cutting edge as much as possible to obtain excellent drilling ***,shear thickening polishing is a promising method for cutting edge preparation of *** research and optimization can lead to additional improvements in microdrill performance and contribute to the conti

Precise design and synthesis of sub-nano scale catalysts with controllable electronic and geometric structures are pivotal for enhancing the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance of molybdenum sulfide(MoS_(2))and unraveling its structure−activity *** leveraging transition molybdenum polysulfide clusters as functional units for multi-level ordering,we successfully designed and synthesized MoS_(x)nanowire networks derived from[Mo_(3)S_(13)]^(2−) clusters via evaporationinduced self-assembly,which exhibit enhanced HER activity attributed to a high density of active sites and dynamic evolution behavior under cathodic ***_(x) nanowire networks electrode yields a current density of 100 mA·cm^(−2) at 142 mV in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4).This work provides an attractive prospect for optimizing catalysts at the sub-nano scale and offers insights into a strategy for designing catalysts in various gas evolution reactions.
