Highly conductive and stable iodine doped argyrodite electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium batteries

Lithium argyrodites with high ionic conductivity and low cost are considered as one of the most prospective solid electrolytes for all-solid-state lithium ***,the poor chemical stability and compatibility with lithium metal limit their ***,Li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl1.4I0.2solid electrolyte with high ionic conductivity of 11.49 m S ccm^(-1)and improved chemical stability is synthesized by iodine *** ultra-thin Li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.4)I_(0.2)membrane with thickness of 10μm can be obtained by wet coating process,exhibiting a high ionic conductivity of 2.09 mS ccm^(-1)and low areal resistance of 1.17Ωcm^(-2).Moreover,iodine doping could in-situ form LiI at the lithium/electrolyte interface and improve the critical current density of Li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.6)from 0.8 to 1.35 mA cm^(-2).The resultant LiCoO_(2)/Li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.4)I_(0.2)/Li battery shows excellent cycling stability at 1 C,with a reversible specific capacity of 110.1 mA h g^(-1)and a retention of 80.5% after 1000 *** addition,the assembled LiCoO_(2)/Li_(5.4)PS_(4.4)Cl_(1.4)I_(0.2)membrane/Li pouch cell delivers an initial discharge capacity of 110.4 mA h g^(-1)and 80.5% capacity retention after 100 cycles.

The family Hepeviridae has seen an explosive expansion in its host range in recent years, yet the evolutionary trajectory of this zoonotic pathogen remains largely unknown. The emergence of rat hepatitis E virus(HEV)has introduced a new public health threat due to its potential for zoonotic transmission. This study investigated2 ?464 wild small mammals spanning four animal orders,eight families, 21 genera, and 37 species in Yunnan Province, China. Using broadly reactive reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR), we systematically screened the presence and prevalence of Orthohepevirus and identified 192 positive specimens from10 species, corresponding to an overall detection rate of7.79%. Next-generation sequencing enabled the recovery of 24 full-length genomic sequences from eight host species, including Bandicota bengalensis, Eothenomys eleusis, and Episoriculus caudatus, representing newly reported host species for Orthohepevirus *** and sequence analyses revealed extensive genetic diversity within orthohepeviruses infecting rodents and shrews. Notably, among the identified strains, 20 were classified as Rocahepevirus ratti C1, two as C3, and one as Rocahepevirus eothenomi, while the remaining strain exhibited significant divergence, precluding *** analyses highlighted close associations between orthohepeviruses and their respective host taxa,with distinct phylogenetic clustering patterns observed across different host orders. These findings emphasize the critical roles of co-speciation and cross-species transmission in shaping the evolutionary trajectories of the genera Paslahepevirus and Rocahepevirus.

Crustal faults usually have a fault core and surrounding regions of brittle damage, forming a low-velocity zone （LVZ） in the immediate vicinity of the main slip interface. The LVZ may amplify ground motion, influence rupture propagation, and hold important information of earthquake physics. A number of geophysical and geodetic methods have been developed to derive high-resolution structure of the LVZ. Here, I review a few recent approaches, including ambient noise cross-correlation on dense across-fault arrays and GPS recordings of fault-zone trapped waves. Despite the past efforts, many questions concerning the LVZ structure remain unclear, such as the depth extent of the LVZ. High-quality data from larger and denser arrays and new seismic imaging technique using larger portion of recorded waveforms, which are currently under active development, may be able to better resolve the LVZ structure. In addition, effects of the alongstrike segmentation and gradational velocity changes across the boundaries between the LVZ and the host rock on rupture propagation should be investigated by conducting comprehensive numerical experiments. Furthermore, high-quality active sources such as recently developed large-volume airgun arrays provide a powerful tool to continuously monitor temporal changes of fault-zone properties, and thus can advance our understanding of fault zone evolution.

This paper examines the predicament of modem chinese conservatism.I use the eminent historian Qian Mu(1895—1990)as an example to show that under the influence of modernity and in an effort to preserve tradition,a prominent conservative like Qian needed to“modernize”chinese tradition so that it could be saved.I will examine Qian’s reconstruction of chinese history,which was not just a reiteration of China’s past,but a new type of understanding of chinese tradition influenced by modem Western *** focusing on Qian’s most prominent work,Guoshi dagang,we can get a sense of the struggle of modem chinese conservatives as they tried to fend off the detractors of chinese tradition.

Due to the influence of quantum confinementeffect, two-dimensional (2D) materials like graphene exhibitunique and exceptional properties, highlighting the significance of low-dimensional materials in fundamental research and practical applications. This has led to highexpectations for one-dimensional (1D) atomic chain materialswith even lower dimensions. Compared with 2D materials,single 1D atomic chains reach their physical limits in bothdimensions, resulting in a more pronounced quantum confinement effect that gives rise to unexpected physical phenomena and will establish a new field for exploration. Herein,we review the emerging field concerning 1D van der Waals(vdW) atomic chains. We first summarize the various typesand structures of their bulk of the 1D vdW materials. Subsequently,we discuss the methods employed for their preparation and characterization. Finally, we analyze the challengesfaced during the development of 1D atomic chains and provide prospects for their future development.
