Background: The impact of sex on the clinical manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were diversely reported in the literature. The Chinese Registry of rhEumatoiD arthrITis provides a platform for the investigation of this issue in Chinese ***: Demographic and clinical parameters were collected from all enrolled patients with RA and from patients with early RA (disease duration ≤6 months). The differences in data regarding disease activity, comorbidities, and medications for RA were compared between men and women. The proportions of patients who achieved remission and low disease activity were compared at enrollment and during 3-, 6-, and 12-month follow-up ***: A total of 11,564 patients were enrolled, 83.6% of whom were female. In all the enrolled patients and patients with early RA, C-reactive protein (CRP, 12.0vs. 6.7 mg/L), pain visual analogue scale (4.8vs. 4.5), patient’s and physician’s global assessment (4.9vs. 4.5 and 4.9vs. 4.5), 28-joint disease activity score using DAS28-CRP (4.3vs. 4.0) simplified disease activity index (21.9vs. 19.9), and clinical disease activity index (19.3vs. 18.0) were significantly higher in men than in women. Additionally, the swollen joint count/tender joint count and DAS28 using erythrocyte sedimentation rate were higher in male patients than in female patients with early RA. More female patients with early RA reached the treatment target at baseline than male patients (23.4%vs. 18.2%, assessed by CDAI). At 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months, the proportion of remission and treatment target achievement was similar in both sexes. Coronary artery disease (CAD) and stroke were more frequent in men than in ***: In Chinese patients with RA, men were found to have more active disease, as well as more cases of CAD and stroke. Therefore, sex should be carefully considered during the personalization of RA treatment.

xinjiang is the province with the largest saline-alkali land in *** growth of halophytes will be stressed when their salt content reaches the *** this study,the pot experiments were conducted and Suaeda salsa,a typical halophyte,was selected as the object to explore the relationship between growth characteristics and salt content under different soil salinity *** gradients were set according to the maximum soil salinity in the current years of Ebinur Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve(ELWNNR).They were classified using the following threshold values:≤2 g/kg(control Group),10 g/kg,20 g/kg,30 g/kg,and 40 g/*** original spectrum,trilateral position and growth characteristics were used as indexes for *** the increase of soil salt content,the red edge shift occurs first,followed by the blue edge *** position of yellow edge,green peak and blue edge were not sensitive to the change of soil *** indicates that the red edge is the best indicator for evaluating plant *** with the control Group,when the salt content is less than 10 g/kg,the growth status of plant seems not significantly ***,plant growth begins to be stressed when the salt content increases to 20 g/kg,which is a turning point for plant *** increase of soil salt content can inhibit chlorophyll synthesis and plant *** begin to die when the salt content reaches 40 g/***,40 g/kg could be regarded as the critical point of salt content which inhibits plant *** study also shows that the relationship between plant-height change rate and soil salt content is the most significant,indicating that the plant-height change rate is significantly impacted by soil salt content.

Individual response to medications varies significantly among different populations,and great progress in understanding the molecular basis of drug action has been made in the past 50 *** field of pharmacogenomics seeks to elucidate inherited differences in drug disposition and *** we know that different populations and ethnic groups are genetically heterogeneous,we have not found any pharmacogenomics information regarding minority groups, such as the Tajik ethnic group in northwest *** the present study,we genotyped 85 Very Important Pharmacogene(VIP) variants selected from PharmGKB in 100 unrelated,healthy Tajiks from the xinjiang uygur autonomous region and compared our data with HapMap data from four major populations around the world:Han Chinese(CHB),Japanese in Tokyo(JPT),Utah Residents with Northern and Western European Ancestry(CEU),and Yorubia in Ibadan,Nigeria(YRI).We found that Tajiks differed from CHB,JPT and YRI in 30,32,and 32 of the selected VIP genotypes respectively(pdisease in this population.

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that primarily affects the centrofacial areas and mainly manifests as recurrent flushing and erythema. In recent years, there has been progress in the understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of rosacea. Therefore, a group of dermatological experts updated the guidelines based on the 2016 expert consensus statement on rosacea diagnosis and treatment in China. These new guidelines propose diagnostic criteria for rosacea at different sites to further standardize the diagnosis and treatment of rosacea in China.

Background:Tuberculosis(TB)is still one of the most serious infectious diseases in the mainland of *** it was urgent for the formulation of more effective measures to prevent and control ***:The data of reported TB cases in 340 prefectures from the mainland of China were extracted from the China Information System for disease control and prevention(CISDCP)during January 2005 to December *** Kulldorff’s retrospective space-time scan statistics was used to identify the temporal,spatial and spatio-temporal clusters of reported TB in the mainland of China by using the discrete Poisson probability ***-temporal clusters of sputum smear-positive(SS+)reported TB and sputum smearnegative(SS-)reported TB were also detected at the prefecture ***:A total of 10200528 reported TB cases were collected from 2005 to 2015 in 340 prefectures,including 5283983 SS-TB cases and 4631734 SS+TB cases with specific sputum smear results,284811 cases without sputum smear *** TB clustering patterns in spatial,temporal and spatiotemporal were observed in this *** of the Kulldorff’s scan found twelve significant space-time clusters of reported *** most likely spatio-temporal cluster(RR=3.27,Pxinjiang uygur autonomous region of western China,covering five prefectures and clustering in the time frame from September 2012 to November *** spatio-temporal clustering results of SS+TB and SS-TB also showed the most likely clusters distributed in the western ***,the clustering time of SS+TB was concentrated before 2010 while SS-TB was mainly concentrated after ***:This study identified the time and region of TB,SS+TB and SS-TB clustered easily in 340 prefectures in the mainland of China,which is helpful in prioritizing resource assignment in high-risk periods and high-risk areas,and to formulate powerful strategy to prevention and control TB.
