In this study,we introduce our newly developed measurement-fed-perception self-adaption Low-cost UAV Coordinated Carbon Observation Network(LUCCN)*** LUCCN primarily consists of two categories of instruments,including ground-based and UAV-based in-situ *** use the GMP343,a low-cost non-dispersive infrared sensor,in both ground-based and UAV-based *** first integrated measurement campaign took place in shenzhen,china,4 May *** the campaign,we found that LUCCN’s UAV component presented significant data-collecting advantages over its ground-based counterpart owing to the relatively high altitudes of the point emission sources,which was especially obvious at a gas power plant in *** emission flux was calculated by a crosssectional flux(CsF)method,the results of which differed from the Open-Data Inventory for Anthropogenic Carbon dioxide(ODIAC).The CsF result was slightly larger than others because of the low sampling rate of the whole emission cross *** LUCCN system will be applied in future carbon monitoring campaigns to increase the spatiotemporal coverage of carbon emission information,especially in scenarios involving the detection of smaller-scale,rapidly varying sources and sinks.

Neuromorphic computing systems,which mimic the operation of neurons and synapses in the human brain,are seen as an appealing next-generation computing method due to their strong and efficient computing ***-dimensional (2D) materials with dangling bond-free surfaces and atomic-level thicknesses have emerged as promising candidates for neuromorphic computing *** a result,2D neuromorphic devices may provide an ideal platform for developing multifunctional neuromorphic ***,we review the recent neuromorphic devices based on 2D material and their multifunctional *** synthesis and next micro–nano fabrication methods of 2D materials and their heterostructures are first *** recent advances of neuromorphic 2D devices are discussed in detail using different operating *** importantly,we present a review of emerging multifunctional neuromorphic applications,including neuromorphic visual,auditory,tactile,and nociceptive systems based on 2D *** the end,we discuss the problems and methods for 2D neuromorphic device developments in the *** paper will give insights into designing 2D neuromorphic devices and applying them to the future neuromorphic systems.

The 28th Conference of Parties(COP 28)of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC)is being held in Dubai,United Arab Emirates,from November 30 to December 12,2023,with the participation of over 160 world leaders(Figure 1).The tone of the COP 28 is set by the observation that,clearly,the nationally determined contributions related to CO_(2) emission reduction are not on track to curb the temperature rise as per the Paris *** order to hold the increase in global mean temperature to well below 2℃ above the pre-industrial level and to pursue efforts to limit the warming to 1.5℃,there is a need for ratcheting up ambition for near-term climate action.

Device design principles and bioelectronic applications for flexible organic electrochemical transistors

Organic electrochemical transistors(OECTs) exhibit significant potential for applications in healthcare and human-machine interfaces, due to their tunable synthesis, facile deposition, and excellent biocompatibility. Expanding OECTs to the fexible devices will significantly facilitate stable contact with the skin and enable more possible bioelectronic applications. In this work,we summarize the device physics of fexible OECTs, aiming to offer a foundational understanding and guidelines for material selection and device architecture. Particular attention is paid to the advanced manufacturing approaches, including photolithography and printing techniques, which establish a robust foundation for the commercialization and large-scale fabrication. And abundantly demonstrated examples ranging from biosensors, artificial synapses/neurons, to bioinspired nervous systems are summarized to highlight the considerable prospects of smart healthcare. In the end, the challenges and opportunities are proposed for fexible OECTs. The purpose of this review is not only to elaborate on the basic design principles of fexible OECTs, but also to act as a roadmap for further exploration of wearable OECTs in advanced bio-applications.

small-scale electromagnetic soft actuators are characterized by a fast response and simplecontrol,holding prospects in the field of soft and miniaturized *** use of liquid metal(LM)to replace a rigid conductor inside soft actuators can reduce the rigidity and enhance the actuation performance and *** research efforts,challenges persist in the flexible fabrication of LM soft actuators and in the improvement of actuation *** address these challenges,we developed a fast and robust electromagnetic soft microplate actuator based on a laser-induced selective adhesion transfer *** with unprecedentedly thin LM circuit and customized low Young’s modulus silicone rubber(1.03 kPa),our actuator exhibits an excellent deformation angle(265.25?)and actuation bending angular velocity(284.66 rad·s^(-1)).Furthermore,multiple actuators have been combined to build an artificial gripper with a wide range of *** actuator presents new possibilities for designing small-scaleartificial machines and supports advancements in ultrafast soft and miniaturized robotics.

Improving the long-term cycling stability and energy density of all-solid-state lithium(Li)-metal batteries(AssLMBs)at room temperature is a severe challenge because of the notorious solid–solid interfacial contact loss and sluggish ion *** electrolytes are generally studied as two-dimensional(2D)structures with planar interfaces,showing limited interfacial contact and further resulting in unstable Li/electrolyte and cathode/electrolyte ***,three-dimensional(3D)architecturally designed composite solid electrolytes are developed with independently controlled structural factors using 3D printing processing and post-curing ***-type electrolyte films with vertical-aligned micro-pillar(p-3DsE)and spiral(s-3DsE)structures are rationally designed and developed,which can be employed for both Li metal anode and cathode in terms of accelerating the Li+transport within electrodes and reinforcing the interfacial *** printed p-3DsE delivers robust long-term cycle life of up to 2600 cycles and a high critical current density of 1.92 mA cm^(−2).The optimized electrolyte structure could lead to AssLMBs with a superior full-cell areal capacity of 2.75 mAh cm^(−2)(LFP)and 3.92 mAh cm^(−2)(NCM811).This unique design provides enhancements for both anode and cathode electrodes,thereby alleviating interfacial degradation induced by dendrite growth and contact *** approach in this study opens a new design strategy for advanced composite solid polymer electrolytes in AssLMBs operating under high rates/capacities and room temperature.
