BACKGROUND To assess the effectiveness of shugan Jieyu capsules on peripheral blood miR-124,miR-132,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)levels in patients with mild to moderate depression following coronary artery intervention[percuta-neous coronary intervention(PCI)]for coronary heart *** with mild-to-moderate depression of the liver-qi stagnation type after PCI for coronary heart disease at the 305th hospital of the people’s liberation army were enrolled from June 2022 to November 2023 and randomly assigned to two groups:Experimental(treated with shugan Jieyu capsules)and control(tr-eated with escitalopram oxalate tablets).This study compared the antidepressant effects of these treatments using 17-item Hamilton Rating scale for Depression(HAMD-17)scores,metabolic equivalents,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,BDNF,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels,miR-124 and miR-132 levels,distribution of immune-related lymphocyte subsets,and traditional Chinese me-dicine syndrome scores before and after 6 weeks of *** No significant difference was observed in any index between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the total efficacy rates were 93.33%and 90.00%in the experimental and control groups,*** group had significantly lower scores for the main and secondary syndromes compared to the control group(Psignificant difference was observed in the metabolic equivalents between the two groups be-fore and after treatment(P>0.05).The levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,high-sensitivity C-reactive pro-tein,and miR-132 were significantly lower,whereas those of miR-124,BDNF,CD3+T lymphocytes,CD3+CD4+T helper lymphocytes,and CD3+CD4+/CD3+CD8+cells were significantly higher in the experimental group com-pared to the control group(Pse reactions during experimental group was signi-ficantly lower than that in control group(PsION shugan Jieyu capsu

Objective This study aimed to comprehensively analyze and compare the clinicopathological features and prognosis of Chinese patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-low early breast cancer(BC)and HER2-IHC0 *** Patients diagnosed with HER2-negative BC(N=999)at our institution between January2011 and December 2015 formed our study *** characteristics,association between estrogen receptor(ER)expression and HER2-low,and evolution of HER2 immunohistochemical(IHC)score were ***-Meier method and log-rank test were used to compare the long-term survival outcomes(5-year follow-up)between the HER2-IHC0 and HER2-low *** HER2-low BC group tended to demonstrate high expression of ER and more progesterone receptor(PgR)positivity than HER2-IHC0 BC group(Pstatus increased with increasing ER expression levels(Mantel-Haenszelχ^(2)test,Pson’s R=0.159,Psurvival analysis revealed a significantly longer overall survival(Os)in HER2-low BC group than in HER2-IHC0 group(P=0.007)in the whole cohort and the hormone receptor(HR)-negative *** were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of disease-free survival(DFs).The discordance rate of HER2 IHC scores between primary and metastatic sites was 36.84%.Conclusion HER2-low BC may not be regarded as a unique BC group in this population-based study due to similar clinicopathological features and prognostic roles.

BACKGROUND:Heatstroke has become a common emergency event in ***(PCT)is used as a biomarker of infection in the emergency department(ED),but its role in rhabdomyolysis(RM)following exertional heatstroke(EHs)remains ***:A retrospective cohort study enrolled patients with EHs from the intensive care unit(ICU).We collected RM biomarkers,inflammation markers,critical disease scores at admission,24 h,48 h,and discharge,and 90-day *** analysis,linear regression and curve fi tting were used to identify the relationship between PCT and ***:A total of 162 patients were recruited and divided into RM(n=56)and non-RM(n=106)*** was positively correlated with myoglobin(Mb),acute hepatic injury,disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC),sequential Organ Failure Assessment(sOFA)score,and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE II)score,with correlation coefficients of 0.214,0.237,0.285,0.454,and 0.368,respectively(all Pstingly,the results of curve fi tting revealed a nonlinear relationship between PCT and RM,and a two-piecewise linear regression model showed that PCT was related to RM with an odds ratio of 1.3 and a cut-off ofsis revealed that RM was associated with higher mortality compared to non-RM cases(P=0.0093).CONCLUsION:High serum PCT concentrations are associated with RM after EHs in critically ill *** PCT concentrations should be interpreted cautiously in patients with EHs in the ED.
