Shotcrete is one of the co.mon solutions for shallow *** works by forming a protective layer with high strength and cementing the loose soil particles on the slope surface to prevent shallow ***,the solidification time of co.ventional cement paste is long when shotcrete is used to treat co.esionless soil *** idea of reinforcing slope with polyurethane solidified soil(i.e.,mixture of polyurethane and sand)was *** tests and finite element analysis were carried out to study the effectiveness of the proposed new method on the emergency treatment of co.esionless soil *** loading on the crest of the slope was applied step by step until landslide was triggered so as to test and co.pare the stability and bearing capacity of slope models with different *** simulated slope displacements were relatively close to the measured results,and the simulated slope deformation characteristics were in good agreement with the observed phenomena,which verifies the accuracy of the numerical *** the co.dition of surcharge loading on the crest of the slope,the unreinforced slope slid when the surcharge loading exceeded 30 k Pa,which presented a failure mode of local instability and co.lapse at the shallow layer of slope *** reinforced slope remained stable even when the surcharge loading reached 48 k *** displacement of the reinforced slope was reduced by more than 95%.Overall,this study verifies the effectiveness of polyurethane in the emergency treatment of co.esionless soil landslide and should have broad application prospects in the field of geological disasters co.cerning the safety of people's live.

Impacts of near-M_(s)austempering treatment on microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation kinetics of a medium Mn steel

The microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation of an Fe-0.19C-4.03Mn-1.48Si steel subjected to near-M_(s)austempering treatment were systematically investigated by co.bining dilatometer,X-ray diffraction,and electron *** additional austempering treatments with isothermal temperatures above M_(s)were used as *** show that the incubation period for the bainitic transformation occurs when the medium Mn steel is treated with the austempering temperature above M_(s).However,when subjected to near-M_(s)isothermal treatment,the medium Mn steel does not show an incubation period and has the fastest bainitic transformation ***,the largest volume fraction of bainite with a value of 74.7%is obtained on the co.dition of near-M_(s)austempering treatment after co.ling to room *** and microstructure evolution analysis indicates that the elimination of the incubation period and the fastest rate of bainitic transformation are related to the preformed *** advent of preformed martensite allows the specimen to generate more bainite in a limited *** bainitic ferrite nucleation at austenite grain boundaries and through autocatalysis at ferrite/austenite interfaces,a model is established to understand the kinetics of bainite formation and it can describe the nucleation rate of bainitic transformation well when co.pared to the experimental results.

Sparse rewards pose significant challenges in deep reinforcement learning as agents struggle to learn from experiences with limited reward *** experience replay(HER)addresses this problem by creating“small goals”within a hierarchical decision ***,HER does not co.sider the value of different episodes for agent *** this paper,we propose SPAHER,a framework for prioritizing hindsight experiences based on spatial position *** allows the agent to prioritize more valuable experiences in a manipulation *** achieves this by calculating transition and trajectory spatial position functions to determine the value of each episode for experience *** evaluate SPAHER on eight robot manipulation tasks in the Fetch and Hand environments provided by OpenAI *** results show that our method improves the final mean success rate by an average of 3.63%co.pared to HER,especially in challenging Hand ***,these improvements are achieved without any increase in co.putation time.

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores:variation and optimization of bed resistance

As the bed depth increases,sintering yield increases,but the productivity *** reveal the reasons for the decrease in productivity and explore targeted solutions,the bed resistance of mixtures,wet zone,and co.bustion zone was analyzed in the *** results showed that the decreased porosity of mixture resulted in the increased bed resistance by 160.56%when the bed depth increased from 600 to 1000 *** improving porosity of 1%by adding loosening bars with optimized size and distribution,the bed resistance decreased,and the productivity increased by 5%.The increase in bed depth increased the thickness of the wet zone from 120 to 680 mm and the resistance from 1.56 to 8.83 *** using a three-stage intensive mixer and pre-adding water for granulation,the moisture of mixture was reduced by 0.6%,and the sintering productivity increased by 4%.Besides,the high bed resistance is mainly caused by the increase in the thickness of the co.bustion zone from 31.9 to 132.7 mm,and the bed resistance increased from 0.70 to 5.62 *** bed resistance of the co.bustion zone at 900 mm was increased by 90.51%co.pared to 700 *** optimization of the distribution of co.e breeze,the thickness of co.bustion zone at the lower layer decreased from 132.7 to 106.84 mm and permeability improved significantly.

Eco.ogical monitoring vehicles are equipped with a range of sensors and monitoring devices designed to gather data on eco.ogical and environmental *** vehicles are crucial in various fields,including environmental science research,eco.ogical and environmental monitoring projects,disaster response,and emergency management.A key method employed in these vehicles for achieving high-precision positioning is LiDAR(lightlaser detection and ranging)-Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM).However,maintaining highprecision localization in co.plex scenarios,such as degraded environments or when dynamic objects are present,remains a significant *** address this issue,we integrate both semantic and texture information from LiDAR and cameras to enhance the robustness and efficiency of data ***,semantic information simplifies the modeling of scene elements,reducing the reliance on dense point clouds,which can be less ***,visual texture information co.plements LiDAR-Visual localization by providing additional co.textual *** inco.porating semantic and texture details frompaired images and point clouds,we significantly improve the quality of data association,thereby increasing the success rate of *** approach not only enhances the operational capabilities of eco.ogical monitoring vehicles in co.plex environments but also co.tributes to improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of eco.ogical monitoring and environmental protection efforts.

Preparation and performance of highly-co.ductive dual-doped Li_(7)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)solid electrolytes for thermal batteries

Garnet Li_(7)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)(LLZO)electrolytes have been reco.nized as a promising candidate to replace liquid/molten-state electrolytes in battery applications due to their exceptional performance,particularly Ga-doped LLZO(LLZGO),which exhibits high ionic ***,the limited size of the Liþtransport bottleneck restricts its high-current discharging *** present study focuses on the synthesis of Ga^(3+)þand Ba^(2+)þco.doped LLZO(LLZGBO)and investigates the influence of doping co.tents on the morphology,crystal structure,Liþtransport bottleneck size,and ionic *** particular,Ga_(0.32)Ba_(0.15)exhibits the highest ionic co.ductivity(6.11E-2 S cm^(-1) at 550 C)in co.parison with other co.positions,which can be attributed to its higher-energy morphology,larger bottleneck and unique Liþtransport *** addition to Ba^(2+),Sr^(2+)þand Ca^(2+)have been co.doped with Ga3þinto LLZO,respectively,to study the effect of doping ion radius on crystal structures and the properties of *** characterization results demonstrate that the easier Liþtransport and higher ionic co.ductivity can be obtained when the electrolyte is doped with larger-radius *** a result,the assembled thermal battery with Ga_(0.32)Ba_(0.15)-LLZO electrolyte exhibits a remarkable voltage platform of 1.81 V and a high specific capacity of 455.65 mA h g^(-1) at an elevated temperature of 525℃.The discharge specific capacity of the thermal cell at 500 mA amounts to 63%of that at 100 mA,showcasing exceptional high-current discharging *** assembled as prototypes with fourteen single cells co.nected in series,the thermal batteries deliver an activation time of 38 ms and a discharge time of 32 s with the current density of 100 mA cm^(-2).These findings suggest that Ga,Ba co.doped LLZO solid-state electrolytes with high ionic co.ductivities holds great potential for high-capacity,quick-initiating and high-current discharging thermal batteries.

Reducing the co.t of RuO_(2)/TiO_(2)catalysts is still one of the urgent challenges in catalytic HCl *** the present work,a Ce-doped TiO_(2)supported RuO_(2)catalyst with a low Ru loading was developed,showing a high activity in the catalytic oxidation of HCl to Cl_(2).The results on some extensive characterizations of both Ce-doped TiO_(2)carriers and their supported RuO_(2)catalysts show that the doping of Ce into TiO_(2)can effectively change the lattice parameters of TiO_(2)to improve the dispersion of the active RuO_(2)species on the carrier,which facilitates the production of surface Ru species to expose more active sites for boosting the catalytic performance even under some harsh reaction *** work provides some scientific basis and technical support for chlorine recycling.

Direct Synthesis of UOS Zeolite Using a Simple and co.mercially Available Organic Structure-directing Agent

The preparation of zeolite utilizing co.mercially available organic co.pounds instead of co.plex and expensive ones is of practical ***,we report the synthesis of germanosilicate zeolite with UOS framework by utilizing a simple and co.mercially available co.pound 3-diethylamino-1-propanol(DEAP)as organic structure-directing agent(OSDA)under fluoride *** synthesis has been optimized by rational modification of the variables,including the Si/Ge molar ratios,the amount of DEAP and F−anions,the co.centration of the synthesis gel and crystallization *** zeolite materials were prepared with Si/Ge ratio in the range of 1–*** physico.hemical properties,including crystallinity,crystal morphology,chemical environment of framework elements,textural properties and acidity were characterized by multiple *** atoms are proved to preferentially occupy the T sites in the double-four-ring(D4Rs)*** to the isostructural IM-16 zeolite,the UOS zeolites prepared herein are of similar textural properties,such as specific surface area and micropore *** simple structure and co.mercial availability of DEAP endow this synthesis with a co.t advantage over the co.ventional preparation of UOS zeolite,where an expensive imidazolium derivative is employed.
