Evolution and co.trol of inclusions of Ti-bearing ultra-low carbon steel during the steelmaking process

This article investigates the evolution and co.trol of inclusions in the smelting process of titanium co.taining ultra-low carbon steel. Through industrial experiments, the influence of oxygen co.tent before aluminum addition on inclusions in ultra-low carbon IF steel was explored, and the evolution process of inclusions was studied. The microstructure of different types of inclusions was observed using three-dimensional analysis *** has found that the oxygen co.tent before aluminum addition has no significant effect on the final oxygen co.tent. However, under low aluminum and low oxygen co.ditions, the size of inclusions formed is small and difficult to float and remove. Even if the cycle time is extended, the AF index of inclusions remains at a high level. Through three-dimensional morphology analysis of inclusions, it was found that alumina formed under high aluminum and high oxygen co.ditions is very dense, while inclusions are relatively loose under low aluminum and low oxygen co.ditions. In addition, through the analysis of aluminum oxygen supersaturation before the formation of aluminum oxide inclusions, it was found that due to the low oxygen co.tent, the nucleation rate of aluminum oxide in the early stage of inclusion formation is relatively low, and the inclusions grow along the trajectory of oxygen, ultimately forming polycrystalline aluminum oxide inclusions. This article also observed for the first time the initial three-dimensional morphology of Al Ti inclusions, providing a theoretical basis for further optimizing smelting processes and co.trolling inclusions.

Preferential adsorption co.trol: Ca-based LDO for regenerating used lubricating oil

Different Ca-based layered double oxides（LDO） were applied in the removal of co.taminants in used lubricating oil as an alternative deco.orant. CaAl-LDO and CaFeAl-LDO achieved much greater deco.oration efficiency than the traditional deco.orants, where 0.93 and 0.91 of the deco.oration efficiency under the optimum co.ditions were obtained, respectively. The deco.oration activity with CaFeAl-LDO > CaAl-LDO >> CaFe-LDO was revealed by both Density Functional Theory（DFT） calculations and experimental analysis. Ca12Al14O33was shown to be the active co.ponent for deco.oration. Fe3+doped into CaAl-LDO co.ld improve deco.oration activity via a changed charge distribution of deco.orant. High preferential adsorption activity, which originated from different charge distribution for co.taminants instead of the oil co.ponents, co.tributed to outstanding deco.oration performance. The activity depended on the adsorption intensity of co.taminants, where the most of the active deco.orant neither too strongly or weakly bound with the co.taminants. The results of this study suggested the Cabased LDOs co.ld be a potentially alternative deco.orants for regenerating the used lubricating oil.

Text Difficulty Study:Do Machines Behave the Same as Humans Regarding Text Difficulty?

With the emergence of pre-trained models,current neural networks are able to give task performance that is co.parable to ***,we know little about the fundamental working mechanism of pre-trained models in which we do not know how they approach such performance and how the task is solved by the *** example,given a task,human learns from easy to hard,whereas the model learns ***,difficulty-insensitive learning leads to great success in natural language processing(NLP),but little attention has been paid to the effect of text difficulty in *** propose a human learning matching index(HLM Index)to investigate the effect of text *** results show:1)LSTM gives more human-like learning behavior than ***,UID-SuperLinear gives the best evaluation of text difficulty among four text difficulty *** nine tasks,some tasks’performance is related to text difficulty,whereas others are not.2)Model trained on easy data performs best in both easy and medium test data,whereas trained on hard data only performs well on hard test data.3)Train the model from easy to hard,leading to quicker co.vergence.

Influence of calendering process on the structural mechanics and heat transfer characteristics of lithium-ion battery electrodes via DEM simulations

Elucidating the intricate co.relation between calendering,structure,and performance is crucial to co.prehending the relationship between performance parameters and process steps of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Discrete element method(DEM)simulations were adopted in this work to calculate the interparticle force and stress tensor under incremental calendering process co.ditions,which revealed the effect of the anisotropy of co.plex co.tact force network on the anisotropy of heat transfer within porous *** thermal co.ductivity of electrode was predicted using porosity to characterize the process-structure-performance *** co.prehensive influence of co.tact number and co.-tact area between particles and current co.lector determines the magnitude of interfacial thermal resistance and interfacial heat transfer *** the first time,this work quantitatively analyzed the structural mechanics and heat transfer mechanism during calendering process of porous electrodes,and the results indicate a promising way to optimize and design battery electrode structures.

Carbon efficiency modeling and optimization of solar-powered cellular networks

As wireless co.munication traffic experiences rapid growth, the carbon emissions caused by the co.munication industry are also on the rise. To achieve “carbon neutrality”, researchers are co.sidering the use of renewable energy sources to power cellular networks, thereby reducing carbon emissions. However, a challenge arises when using renewable energy, specifically owing to the unpredictable nature of both the energy co.sumption of the cellular network and the power generation from renewable sources. This inco.sistency results in low renewable energy utilization and reduced carbon efficiency. Herein, we co.struct a carbon efficiency model of solar-powered cellular networks using practical data from solar radiation. We propose a mechanism that alternately optimizes the performance of the renewable energy network and the cellular network. This approach is based on co.vex optimization theory and the Dinkelback algorithm, and it leads to the design of a carbon efficiency optimization algorithm. This algorithm aims to improve the carbon efficiency of cellular networks and reduce their carbon emissions. Simulation results demonstrate that our optimization scheme yields a maximum improvement of 2.56 × 108bps/g in the carbon efficiency of the cellular network as co.pared to co.ventional power allocation schemes such as the traditional water filling method and heuristic energy sharing and charge/discharge algorithms.

The lower limb exoskeletons are used to assist wearers in various scenarios such as medical and industrial *** modeling errors of the exoskeleton in different application scenarios pose challenges to the robustness and stability of its co.trol *** Radial Basis Function(RBF)neural network is used widely to co.pensate for modeling *** order to solve the problem that the current RBF neural network co.trollers cannot guarantee the asymptotic stability,a neural network robust co.trol algorithm based on co.puted torque method is proposed in this paper,focusing on trajectory *** innovatively inco.porates the robust adaptive term while introducing the RBF neural network term,improving the co.pensation ability for modeling *** stability of the algorithm is proved by Lyapunov method,and the effectiveness of the robust adaptive term is verified by the *** wearing the exoskeleton under different walking speeds and scenarios were carried out,and the results show that the absolute value of tracking errors of the hip and knee joints of the exoskeleton are co.sistently less than 1.5°and 2.5°,*** proposed co.trol algorithm effectively co.pensates for modeling errors and exhibits high robustness.
