This paper proposes a collaborative planning model for active distribution network(ADN)and electric vehicle(EV)charging stations that fully considers vehicle-to-grid(V2G)function and reactive power support of EVs in different *** paper employs a sequential decomposition method based on physical characteristics of the problem,breaking down the holistic problem into two sub-problems for *** I optimizes the charging and discharging behavior of autopilot electric vehicles(AEVs)using a mixed-integer linear programming(MILP)*** II uses a mixed-integer secondorder cone programming(MISOCP)model to plan ADN and retrofit or construct V2G charging stations(V2GCS),as well as multiple distributed generation resources(DGRs).The paper also analyzes the impact of bi-directional active-reactive power interaction of V2GCS on ADN *** presented model is tested in the 47-node ADN in Longgang District,Shenzhen,China,and the IEEE 33-node ADN,demonstrating that decomposition can significantly improve the speed of solving large-scale problems while maintaining accuracy with low AEV penetration.

Background Heat stress has severe negative consequences on performance and health of pigs,leading to significant economic *** objective of this study was to investigate the effects of supplemental vitamin E and a botanical extract in feed or drinking water on growth performance,intestinal health,and oxidative and immune status in grow-ing pigs housed under heat stress *** Duplicate experiments were conducted,each using 64 crossbred pigs with an initial body weight of 50.7±3.8 and 43.9±3.6 kg and age of 13-week and 12-week,***(n=128)were housed individually and assigned within weight blocks and sex to a 2×4 factorial arrangement consisting of 2 environments(thermo-neutral(21.2℃)or heat-stressed(30.9℃))and 4 supplementation treatments(control diet;control+100 IU/L of D-α-tocopherol in water;control+200 IU/kg of DL-α-tocopheryl-acetate in feed;or control+400 mg/kg of a botanical extract in feed).Results Heat stress for 28 d reduced(P≤0.001)final body weight,average daily gain,and average daily feed intake(-7.4 kg,-26.7%,and-25.4%,respectively)but no effects of supplementation were detected(P>0.05).Serum vitamin E increased(P<0.001)with vitamin E supplementation in water and in feed(1.64 vs.3.59 and 1.64 vs.3.24),but not for the botanical extract(1.64 vs.1.67 mg/kg)and was greater when supplemented in water ***(P=0.002).Liver vitamin E increased(P<0.001)with vitamin E supplementations in water(3.9 vs.31.8)and feed(3.9 vs.18.0),but not with the botanical extract(3.9 vs.4.9 mg/kg).Serum malondialdehyde was reduced with heat stress on d 2,but increased on d 28(interaction,P<0.001),and was greater(P<0.05)for antioxidant supplementation compared to *** proliferation was reduced(P=0.037)in the jejunum under heat stress,but increased in the ileum when vitamin E was supplemented in feed and water under heat stress(interaction,P=0.04).Tumor necrosis factor-αin jejunum and ileum mucosa decreased by heat stress(P<0.05)and was re

The electrochemical performance of lithium-ion batteries significantly deteriorates in extreme cold. Thus, to ensure battery safety under various conditions, various heating and insulation strategies are implemented. The present study proposes a hybrid heating approach combining active heating with passive insulation. Conceptual experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of phase change materials(PCMs), inlet water temperature, and intermittent pump startup strategies on battery performance. The obtained experimental results demonstrate that low temperatures lead to increased electrochemical impedance and reduced charge–discharge capacity in batteries. Notably, charge transfer resistance of 162 mΩ was observed at -30℃. Herein,the developed PCM-based battery heating system effectively extended the operational capacity of batteries in cold driving conditions and maintained battery warmth by leveraging the superior heat storage capability of the PCM. Additionally, after the switch off of the heating system, the charge capacity of the battery exceeded 80% owing to latent heat. The use of an intermittent heating strategy not only allowed to conserve energy but also maintained adequate heat storage within the battery module. At -30℃, this strategy enhanced the power efficiency of the cooling system by 35.94% with a reduction in capacity of only 0.8%compared to the continuous strategy.

Weaning piglets usually suffer from severe diarrhea(commonly known as postweaning diarrhea,PWD)along with intestinal motility *** peristalsis is mainly regulated by the longitudinal muscle-myenteric plexus(LM-MP).To understand the relationship between intestinal LM-MP function and the development of PWD,we compared the intestinal electrical activity,and the transcriptional profile of the LM-MP between 21-day-old piglets(just weaned,n=7)and 24-day-old piglets(suffered the most severe weaning stress,n=7).The results showed that 24-day-old piglets exhibited different degrees of diarrhea.A significant increase in the slow-wave frequency in the ileum and colon was observed in 24-day-old piglets,while c-kit expression in the intestinal LM-MPs was significantly decreased,indicating that PWD caused by elevated slow-wave frequency may be associated with loss of *** real-time quantitative PCR(RT-q PCR)and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)showed that intestinal LM-MPs in 24-day-old piglets may undergo inflammation and oxidative *** increases in 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine and decreases in thioredoxin suggest that weaning may lead to DNA damage in the LM-MP of 24-day-old *** addition,activating transcription factor 3 was significantly upregulated,indicating nerve damage in the LM-MP of 24-day-old *** transcriptomic results showed that most of the differentially expressed genes in the ileal LM-MP after weaning were downregulated and closely related to the cell cycle *** RT-q PCR analysis showed that the relative expression of p21 was upregulated,while the expression of cyclin A2,cyclin B1,and proliferating cell nuclear antigen was downregulated in the ileal and colonic LM-MP of 24-day-old piglets,suggesting that weaning may inhibit cell proliferation and cause G1/S cell cycle arrest in ileal and colonic *** conclusion,weaning may lead to cell cycle arrest by causing DNA damage in the LM-MP,impairing i
