UAV-aided cellular networks,millimeter wave(mm-wave) communications and multi-antenna techniques are viewed as promising components of the solution for beyond-5G(B5G) and even 6G *** leveraging the power of stochastic geometry,this paper aims at providing an effective framework for modeling and analyzing a UAV-aided heterogeneous cellular network,where the terrestrial base stations(TBSs) and the UAV base stations(UBSs) coexist,and the UBSs are provided with mm-wave and multi-antenna *** modeling the TBSs as a PPP and the UBSs as a Matern hard-core point process of type Ⅱ(MPH-Ⅱ),approximated but accurate analytical results for the average rate of the typical user of both tiers are derived through an approximation method based on the mean interference-to-signal ratio(MISR) *** influence of some relevant parameters is discussed in detail,and some insights into the network deployment and optimization are *** results show that some trade-offs are worthy of being considered,such as the antenna array size,the altitude of the UAVs and the power control factor of the UBSs.

Photocatalysis,a critical strategy for harvesting sunlight to address energy demand and environmental concerns,is underpinned by the discovery of high-performance photocatalysts,thereby how to design photocatalysts is now generating widespread interest in boosting the conversion efﬁ-ciency of solar *** the past decade,computational technologies and theoretical simulations have led to a major leap in the development of high-throughput computational screening strategies for novel high-efﬁciency *** this viewpoint,we started with introducing the challenges of photocatalysis from the view of experimental practice,especially the inefﬁciency of the traditional“trial and error”***-sequently,a cross-sectional comparison between experimental and high-throughput computational screening for photocatalysis is presented and discussed in *** the basis of the current experimental progress in photocatalysis,we also exempliﬁed the various challenges associated with high-throughput computational screening ***,we offered a preferred high-throughput computational screening procedure for pho-tocatalysts from an experimental practice perspective(model construction and screening,standardized experiments,assessment and revision),with the aim of a better correlation of high-throughput simulations and experimental practices,motivating to search for better descriptors.

Objective This study investigated the epidemic characteristics and spatio-temporal dynamics of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS)in Qingdao City,*** Information was collected on HFRS cases in Qingdao City from 2010 to *** epidemiologic,seasonal decomposition,spatial autocorrelation,and spatio-temporal cluster analyses were *** A total of 2,220 patients with HFRS were reported over the study period,with an average annual incidence of 1.89/100,000 and a case fatality rate of 2.52%.The male:female ratio was 2.8:1.75.3%of patients were aged between 16 and 60 years old,75.3%of patients were farmers,and 11.6%had both“three red”and“three pain”*** HFRS epidemic showed two-peak seasonality:the primary fall-winter peak and the minor spring *** HFRS epidemic presented highly spatially heterogeneous,street/township-level hot spots that were mostly distributed in Huangdao,Pingdu,and *** spatio-temporal cluster analysis revealed three cluster areas in Qingdao City that were located in the south of Huangdao District during the fall-winter *** The distribution of HFRS in Qingdao exhibited periodic,seasonal,and regional characteristics,with high spatial clustering *** typical symptoms of“three red”and“three pain”in patients with HFRS were not obvious.

In developing and exploring extreme and harsh underwater environments,underwater robots can effectively replace humans to complete *** meet the requirements of underwater flexible motion and comprehensive subsea operation,a novel octopus-inspired robot with eight soft limbs was designed and *** robot possesses the capabilities of underwater bipedal walking,multi-arm swimming,and grasping *** closely interact with the underwater seabed environment and minimize disturbance,the robot employs a cable-driven flexible arm for its walking in underwater floor through a bipedal walking *** multi-arm swimming offers a means of three-dimensional spatial movement,allowing the robot to swiftly explore and navigate over large areas,thereby enhancing its ***,the robot’s walking arm enables it to grasp and transport objects underwater,thereby enhancing its practicality in underwater environments.A simplified motion models and gait generation strategies were proposed for two modes of robot locomotion:swimming and walking,inspired by the movement characteristics of octopus-inspired multi-arm swimming and bipedal *** experimental verification,the robot’s average speed of underwater bipedal walking reaches 7.26 cm/s,while the horizontal movement speed for multi-arm swimming is 8.6 cm/s.

Nutrients in human milk,including minerals,relate growth and development of breast-fed *** mother-infant dyads possess unique characteristics on early nutrition due to their featured long-lasting *** study longitudinally investigated the relationship between the mineral composition in human milk and the Z-scores of infants among Tibetan mother-infant dyads during their first 6 months postpartum through a prospective cohort *** results show that the minerals of Na,Mg,K,Ca,Cu,Zn,and Se were of higher levels in colostrum than other lactation *** minerals were below the recommended values for infants according to Chinese dietary ***,a large proportion of infant Z-scores were below-2 as lactation period *** statistical analysis revealed that classifications and correlations in varying degrees were observed between minerals in human milk and infant *** findings will be advantageous for research upon Chinese early nutrition and progress of tailor-made infant formula.

This review delves into the detrimental impact of alcohol consumption on internal organs and reproductive health,elucidating the underlying mechanisms involving the Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/Nuclear factor kappa light chain enhancer of activated B cells(NF-kB)pathway and the Cytochrome P4502E1(CYP2E1)/reactive oxygen spe-cies(ROS)/nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)*** TLR4/NF-kB pathway,crucial for inflammatory and immune responses,triggers the production of pro-inflammatory agents and type-1 interferon,disrupting the balance between inflammatory and antioxidant responses when tissues are chronically exposed to ***-induced dysbiosis in gut microbes heightens gut wall permeability to pathogen-associated molecular patterns(PAMPs),leading to liver cell infection and subsequent ***,CYP2E1-mediated alcohol metabolism gen-erates ROS,causing oxidative stress and damaging cells,lipids,proteins,and deoxy-ribonucleic acid(DNA).To counteract this inflammatory imbalance,Nrf2 regulates gene expression,inhibiting inflammatory progression and promoting antioxidant *** alcohol intake results in elevated liver enzymes(ADH,CYP2E1,and catalase),ROS,NADH,acetaldehyde,and acetate,leading to damage in vital organs such as the heart,brain,and ***,alcohol negatively affects reproduc-tive health by inhibiting the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis,causing infertility in both men and *** findings underscore the profound health concerns associated with alcohol-induced damage,emphasizing the need for public awareness regarding the intricate interplay between immune responses and the multi-organ im-pacts of alcohol consumption.

Optical information transmission is vital in modern optics and photonics due to its concurrent and multi-dimensional nature,leading to tremendous applications such as optical microscopy,holography,and optical *** optical information transmission technologies suffer from bulky optical setup and information loss/crosstalk when meeting scatterers or obstacles in the light ***,we theoretically propose and experimentally realize the simultaneous manipulation of the coherence lengths and coherence structures of the light beams with the disordered *** ultra-robust optical information transmission and self-reconstruction can be realized by the generated partially coherent beam with modulated coherence structure even 93%of light is recklessly obstructed during light transmission,which brings new light to robust optical information transmission with a single *** method provides a generic principle for the generalized coherence manipulation on the photonic platform and displays a variety of functionalities advancing capabilities in optical information transmission such as meta-holography and imaging in disordered and perturbative media.

Frothers facilitate the reduction of bubbles size by preventing bubbles coalescence and produce more stable *** collision probability of the bubbles and particles substantially increases by decreasing bubble *** the same volume system,fewer bubbles result from a distribution of large-sized bubbles,and more bubbles result from a distribution of small-sized *** this research,fundamental two-phase frother characterization parameters were aimed to link with three-phase coal and talc flotation *** this purpose,the effect of single and dual frother systems on inhibiting bubble coalescence was investigated with methyl isobutyl carbinol(MIBC),isooctanol(2 ethyl hexanol),pine oil,and Dowfroth *** on the results of single frothers,isooctanol at the lowest critical coalescence concentration(CCC)value of 6×10^(−6) achieved the smallest bubbles with Sauter mean diameter of 0.80 *** blending Dowfroth 250 and pine oil,the bubbles size decreased significantly,reaching 0.45 *** the highest recoveries in coal flotation were obtained in single and frother blends where the bubbles size was measured as the smallest in two-phase system,and such a relationship was not found for talc flotation.
