Dissecting the cell microenvironment of ovarian endometrioma through single-cell RNA sequencing

Ovarian endometrioma（OE）, also known as “chocolate cysts,” is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility. However, the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown, posing challenges for diagnosis and treatment. Here, we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell populations. We identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with OE. Notably, the activation of IGFBP5+macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties, NK cell exhaustion, and aberrant proliferation of IQCG+and KLF2+epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of OE. Collectively, our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

In recent years,the number of patientswith colon disease has increased *** polyps are the precursor lesions of colon *** not diagnosed in time,they can easily develop into colon cancer,posing a serious threat to patients’lives and health.A colonoscopy is an important means of detecting colon ***,in polyp imaging,due to the large differences and diverse types of polyps in size,shape,color,etc.,traditional detection methods face the problem of high false positive rates,which creates problems for doctors during the diagnosis *** order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of colon polyp detection,this question proposes a network model suitable for colon polyp detection(PD-YOLO).This method introduces the self-attention mechanism CBAM(Convolutional Block Attention Module)in the backbone layer based on YOLOv7,allowing themodel to adaptively focus on key information and ignore the unimportant *** help themodel do a better job of polyp localization and bounding box regression,add the SPD-Conv(Symmetric Positive Definite Convolution)module to the neck layer and use deconvolution instead of *** results indicate that the PD-YOLO algorithm demonstrates strong robustness in colon polyp *** to the original YOLOv7,on the Kvasir-SEG dataset,PD-YOLO has shown an increase of 5.44 percentage points in AP@0.5,showcasing significant advantages over other mainstream methods.

Passively Q-switched Nd^(3+):YAG laser with corner cube

A passively Q-switched Nd^3＋：YAG laser with corner cube is theoretically and experimentally studied, We analyze the polarization variation in cavity and simulate the peak power, pulse energy and pulse width changed with the rotation angle of corner cube numerically, An experiment is made to verify the theoretical results. With rotating the angle of corner cube about the axis the variation range of peak power is 1,77 MW （from 10.36 to 8.59 MW）, and that of pulse energy is 14.9 mJ （from 159.5 to 174.4 mJ）, the fluctuation of pulse width is 2.95 ns. The experimental results agree with the theoretical analysis to the extent of variation rules. The most dynamic to static energy ratio of 62.5% is achieved.

Luminescence and energy transfer of Ce^(3+)-Eu^(2+) in Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7

A series of Ce^(3+),Eu^(2+) and Ce^(3+)-Eu^(2+) doped Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7 phosphors are synthesized by a high temperature solid-state *** 291 nm excitation,Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7:Ce^(3+) has one emission band at 356 nm,which is attributed to4f°5d^1→4f^1 transition of Ce^(3+).Under 305 nm excitation,Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7:Eu^(2+) presents one emission band at 445 nm,which is assigned to 4f^65d^1→4f^7 transition of Eu^(2+).Energy transfer from Ce^(3+) to Eu^(2+) in Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7 is validated and proved to be a resonant type via a quadrupole-quadrupole *** distance(R_c) of Ce^(3+) to Eu^(2+) in Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7 is calculated to be 1.264 ***,the emission intensity of Ca_9Al(PO_4)_7:Ce^(3+),Eu^(2+) can be tuned by properly adjusting the relative doping composition of Ce^(3+)/Eu^(2+).

Tunable emission, concentration quenching and crystallographic sites of Eu^(2+) in Sr_3Y(PO_4)_3

A series of Sr3Y(PO4)3:Eu2+ samples are synthesized by the high temperature solid-state method. Sr3Y(PO4)3:Eu2+shows an asymmetrical emission band under excitation of 350 nm. The emission peaks at 426 nm and 497 nm are assigned to the nine-coordination Eu2+ and six-coordination Eu2+, respectively. The effects of Eu2+ doping content on the emission intensity and color are observed, and the concentration quenching effect is also observed. For two different Eu2+ luminescence centers, the quenching mechanisms are dipole-dipole interaction and quadrupole-quadrupole interaction, respectively. And the critical distance of energy transfer is calculated by concentration quenching and turns out to be about 3.67 nm. The results above show that the asymmetrical emission band of Sr3Y(PO4)3:Eu2+ comes from two different Eu2+ luminescence centers in the lattice.

Mao Zedong's “Three Worlds” Theory:Political Considerations and Value for the Times

Mao Zedong＇s theory of ＂the differentiation of three worlds＂ originated in his idea of ＂one intermediate zone＂ in the 1940s and 1950s, took initial shape with the idea of ＂two intermediate zones＂ in the 1960s and was officially formulated in the early 1970s. Taking national interests and the pursuit of sovereignty as its logical starting point, the law of the unity of opposites as its philosophical basis, the background of the Cold War as its historical platform, and opposition to hegemony as its diplomatic strategy, Mao Zedong advanced the well-known ＂three worlds＂ theory. As a hallmark achievement of China＇s diplomatic strategy and international relations theory, Mao＇s ＂three worlds＂ theory has a very special value for the times, especially with regard to its philosophy and principles in areas such as the principles of international ethics and justice, discourse power and national image, security mechanisms and strategic partnerships, and interdependence and cultural transcendence, all of which are precious ideological resources that we should cherish.

SIMPLE COMPUTING OF THE CUSTOMER LIFETIME VALUE:A FIXED LOCAL-OPTIMAL POLICY APPROACH

In this paper,we present a new method for finding a fixed local-optimal policy for computing the customer lifetime *** method is developed for a class of ergodic controllable finite Markov *** propose an approach based on a non-converging state-value function that fluctuates（increases and decreases） between states of the dynamic *** prove that it is possible to represent that function in a recursive format using a one-step-ahead fixed-optimal ***,we provide an analytical formula for the numerical realization of the fixed local-optimal *** also present a second approach based on linear programming,to solve the same problem,that implement the c-variable method for making the problem computationally *** the end,we show that these two approaches are related：after a finite number of iterations our proposed approach converges to same result as the linear programming *** also present a non-traditional approach for ergodicity *** validity of the proposed methods is successfully demonstrated theoretically and,by simulated credit-card marketing experiments computing the customer lifetime value for both an optimization and a game theory approach.

Traveling wavefronts for a reaction-diffusion-chemotaxis model with volume-filling effect

In this paper, we study the propagation of the pattern for a reaction-diffusionchemotaxis model. By using a weakly nonlinear analysis with multiple temporal and spatial scales, we establish the amplitude equations for the patterns, which show that a local perturbation at the constant steady state is spread over the whole domain in the form of a traveling wavefront. The simulations demonstrate that the amplitude equations capture the evolution of the exact patterns obtained by numerically solving the considered system.

Efficient photocatalytic reduction of CO2 to formate by a molecular noble metal-free system

Reducing CO2to carbon-neutral solar fuels can not only alleviate the energy demand but also mitigate the greenhouse *** present,developing an efficient non-noble metal photo/electrocatalytic system for converting CO2to a specific product beyond CO is still a big ***,we report a new cobalt complex bearing 2,2′-bi-1,10-phenanthroline ligand that can photocatalytically reduce CO2to formate （HCOO-）.Turnover number （TON） for HCOO-up to 677 with 99%selectivity can be achieved using organic dyes purpurin as photosensitizer and 1,3-dimethyl-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzo[d]imidazole （BIH） as sacrificial reductant in a CO2-saturated NMP/TEA （v/v,3:1） solution under visible light *** potential electrolysis at-1.41 V （***/Ag Cl） in the presence of 12 m M Et3NHBF4also produced HCOO-with Faradaic efficiency of 39%.Spectroscopic and electrochemical studies suggest that a[CoI-H]species is the key intermediate for CO2reduction.
