The power flow(PF)calculation for AC/DC hybrid systems based on voltage source converter(VSC)plays a crucial role in the operational analysis of the new energy *** fast and flexible holomorphic embedding(FFHE)PF method,with its non-iterative format founded on complex analysis theory,exhibits superior numerical performance compared with traditional iterative *** paper aims to extend the FFHE method to the PF problem in the VSC-based AC/DC hybrid *** form the AC/DC FFHE PF method,an AC/DC FFHE model with its solution scheme and a sequential AC/DC PF calculation framework are *** AC/DC FFHE model is established with a more flexible form to incorporate multiple control strategies of VSC while preserving the constructive and deterministic properties of original FFHE to reliably obtain operable AC/DC solutions from various initializations.A solution scheme for the proposed model is provided with specific recursive solution processes and accelerated Padé*** achieve the overall convergence of AC/DC PF,the AC/DC FFHE model is integrated into the sequential calculation framework with well-designed data exchange and control mode switching *** proposed method demonstrates significant efficiency improvements,especially in handling scenarios involving control mode switching and multiple *** numerical tests,the superiority of the proposed method is confirmed through comparisons of accuracy and efficiency with existing methods,as well as the impact analyses of different initializations.

Study on Flow Field Simulation at Transmission Towers in Loess Hilly Regions Based on Circular Boundary Constraints

When using high-voltage transmission lines for energy transmission in loess hilly regions,local extreme wind fields such as turbulence and high-speed cyclones occur from time to time,which can cause many kinds of mechanical and electrical failures,seriously affecting the reliable and stable energy transmission of the power *** existing research focuses on the wind field simulation of ideal micro-terrain and actual terrain with mostly single microterrain *** boundary constraints and the influence of constrained boundaries are the main problems that need to be solved to accurately model and simulate complex flow *** this paper,a flow field simulation method based on circular boundary constraints is carried *** the study,the influence of the model boundary and the selection conditions of themodeling range are systematically *** is more suitable to make sure that the air domain is 4 times higher than the height of the hill undulations,in addition to ensuring that there should be a minimum of 400 m between the study region and the ***,an actual terrain model of a power grid line in Shanxi is established,through the method proposed in this paper,the wind speed at the location of the transmission tower line under different wind directions is analyzed,and it is found that when the incidence direction is 45 degrees north by east the wind speed is the *** findings demonstrate that the circular boundary model has the advantage of more easily adjusting the wind incidence direction,in addition to theoretically reducing the errors caused by traditional models in boundary *** can accurately obtain the distribution characteristics of the flow field affected by the terrain,and quickly screen out the extreme working conditions that are most harmful to the transmission lines in the actual transmission line for energy transmission in complex loess hilly regions.

A new approach to maintenance scheduling of generating units(MSU)in competitive electricity markets was presented,which was formulated as a noncooperative game with complete *** payoff of each generating company(Genco)was defined as the profit from the energy auction market minus maintenance cost and risk *** compensation fee of interruptible load was a part of the maintenance cost when the permitted maintenance capacity in the system was *** energy auction was incorporated in the computation of both revenues from energy market and risk loss of maintenance strategy as a nested game.A new heuristic search algorithm for the calculation of the game equilibrium of MSU was presented,which coordinates the solutions of non-equilibrium,unique equilibrium and multiple *** results for a two-Genco system and a realistic system were used to demonstrate the basic ideas and the applicability of the proposed method,as well as its computational efficiency.

As strongly nonlinear, dynamic,multidimensional and large scale systems, power systems in operation are always influenced by the external and internal disturbances;and thus the serious threat to stable operation of systems exists. In this paper, based on the three order mathematical model of single machine infinite systems with valve control and under the conditions that systems have unknown damping coefficient, Storage functions of control system are constructed on the basis of improved adaptive backstepping and Lyapunov methods. A nonlinear adaptive robust controller and a parameter update law are *** derived controller can not only ensure that the system states are bounded and keep the nonlinearity of power systems and the real-time parameter estimation but also improved the speed of parameter identification.

Flexible Load Participation in Peaking Shaving and Valley Filling Based on Dynamic Price Incentives

Considering the widening of the peak-valley difference in the power grid and the difficulty of the existing fixed time-of-use electricity price mechanism in meeting the energy demand of heterogeneous users at various moments or motivating users,the design of a reasonable dynamic pricing mechanism to actively engage users in demand response becomes imperative for power grid *** this purpose,a power grid-flexible load bilevel model is constructed based on dynamic pricing,where the leader is the dispatching center and the lower-level flexible load acts as the ***,an upper-level day-ahead dispatching model for the power grid is established,considering the lowest power grid dispatching cost as the objective function and incorporating the power grid-side ***,the lower level comprehensively considers the load characteristics of industrial load,energy storage,and data centers,and then establishes a lower-level flexible load operation model with the lowest user power-consuming cost as the objective ***,the proposed method is validated using the IEEE-118 system,and the findings indicate that the dynamic pricing mechanism for peaking shaving and valley filling can effectively guide users to respond actively,thereby reducing the peak-valley difference and decreasing users’purchasing costs.

Degradation of metronidazole by dielectric barrier discharge in an aqueous solution

Degradation of metronidazole (MNZ) which is a representative and stable antibiotic by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) in an aqueous solution has been studied. Effects of initial MNZ concentration, solution pH and coexisting organics on the degradation were investigated. The results illustrated that increasing the input power and the discharge frequency can improve the removal of MNZ. At low initial concentration, the removal of MNZ can reach up to 99.1%. Acidic and neutral conditions are more favorable for MNZ removal than alkaline condition in the early stage of degradation. However, the difference in MNZ removal between those in acidic or neutral media and that in alkaline one could be neglected with prolonging of the treatment time. Therefore, this method can be applied to MNZ degradation with a wide pH range. Coexisting organic matter in water can attenuate the removal to some extent. This study could provide valuable references for the degradation of nitroimidazole antibiotics by DBD.

Modeling and identification for soft sensor systems based on the separation of multi-dynamic and static characteristics

Data-driven soft sensor is an effective solution to provide rapid and reliable estimations for key quality variables online. The secondary variables affect the primary variable in considerably different speed, and soft sensor systems exhibit multi-dynamic characteristics. Thus, the first contribution is improving the model in the previous study with multi-time-constant. The characteristics-separation-based model will be identified in substep way,and the stochastic Newton recursive(SNR) algorithm is adopted. Considering the dual-rate characteristics of soft sensor systems, the proposed model cannot be identified directly. Thus, two auxiliary models are first proposed to offer the intersample estimations at each update period, based on which the improved algorithm(DAM-SNR) is derived. These two auxiliary models function in switching mechanism which has been illustrated in detail. This algorithm serves for the identification of the proposed model together with the SNR algorithm, and the identification procedure is then presented. Finally, the laboratorial case confirms the effectiveness of the proposed soft sensor model and the algorithms.

Chaos Analysis of Discharge Current Based on Tracking Test of Phenolic Resin

In tracking test, discharge is a complicated process and comparative tracking index (CTI) has wide varia-tion. To evaluate tracking resistance, the chaos analysis of discharge current is presented based on the tracking test of phenolic resin in accordance with IEC60112. According to the characteristics of statistical self-similarity and complexity of discharge current, the largest Lyapunov exponent is calculated, and the 2-dimensional attractor of discharge current is reconstructed. Moreover, the attractors of discharge current and recurrence plots of different discharge states are reconstructed. The results indicate that the chaos attractors have different characteristics in evo-lutionary tracks, the topological structure and grain direction of recurrence plots show significant differences. The chaos attractor can describe the tracking process, the recurrence plot can identify the tracking state clearly, while its arithmetic is simple.

A comparative analysis of dielectric properties of oil-paper insulation and polymer materials before and after thermal aging

The shortcomings of oil-immersed transformer solid insulation like low high-temperature resistance of the insulation paper and the uneven distribution of electric field caused by the large difference of dielectric constants between insulation paper and transformer oil,restricted the development of transformer with smaller size and larger *** view of this situation and the transformer’s demand for the dielectric physicochemical and mechanical property of insulation material,polycarbonate,polyester film and polyphenylene sulfide with high high-temperature resistance were chosen for the comparison analysis in this paper We did the 300-day thermal aging experiment on four samples in transformer oil under different aging temperatures of90°C,110°C and 130°C,then analyzed the changes of their dielectric *** experiment results are as follows;the permittivity and dielectric dissipation factor of the three polymer materials are apparently smaller than those of the paper both before and after 300-day aging;the volume resistivity and partial discharge inception voltage of the three materials are higher than those of the paper both before and after aging;and the breakdown field strength of polycarbonate is higher than that of the paper both before and after aging,while that of polyester film and polyphenylene sulfide are slightly lower than that of the paper.
