A class of trilinear differential operators is introduced through a technique of assigning signs to derivatives and used to create trilinear differential equations. The resulting trilinear differential operators and equations are characterized by the Bell polynomials, and the superposition principle is applied to the construction of resonant solutions of exponential waves. Two illustrative examples are made by an algorithm using weights of dependent variables.

Connected vehicles enabled by communication technologies have the potential to improve trafc mobility and enhance roadway safety such that trafc information can be shared among vehicles and *** speed advisory strategies have been proposed to smooth connected vehicle trajectories for better system performance with the help of diferent carfollowing ***,there has been no such comparison about the impacts of various car-following models on the advisory ***,most of the existing studies consider a deterministic vehicle arriving *** resulting model is easy to approach yet not realistic in representing realistic trafc *** study proposes an Individual Variable Speed Limit(IVSL)trajectory planning problem at a signalized intersection and investigates the impacts of three popular car-following models on the *** deterministic and stochastic IVSL models are formulated,and their performance is tested with numerical *** results show that,compared to the benchmark(i.e.,without speed control),the proposed IVSL strategy with a deterministic arriving pattern achieves signifcant improvements in both mobility and fuel efciency across diferent trafc levels with all three car-following *** improvement of the IVSL with the Gipps’model is the most *** the vehicle arriving patterns are stochastic,the IVSL improves travel time,fuel consumption,and system cost by 8.95%,19.11%,and 11.37%,respectively,compared to the benchmark without speed control.

A class of non-semisimple matrix loop algebras consisting of triangular block matrices is introduced and used to generate bi-integrable couplings of soliton equations from zero curvature *** variational identities under non-degenerate,symmetric and ad-invariant bilinear forms are used to furnish Hamiltonian structures of the resulting bi-integrable couplings.A special case of the suggested loop algebras yields nonlinear bi-integrable Hamiltonian couplings for the AKNS soliton hierarchy.

Optimality analysis of train platforming and routing with different interlocking modes

The train platforming and routing(TPR)problem is to decide train operations within stations after the networkwise train schedules are determined.A feasible TPR plan requires both platform and route conflict-free,where the avoidance of route conflict is controlled according to three interlocking *** the TPR problem is widely studied,none of them did a serious investigation on the optimality impacts of different interlocking modes in the ***,this paper introduced and formulated a space–time version of TPR considering three interlocking modes and subsequentially conducted numerical experiments to analyze the optimality differences under each *** on the experimental findings,engineering practical suggestions are also *** summary,the experiment results showed that both route-locking sectional-release and sectional-locking sectionalrelease modes significantly outperform the route-locking route-release *** among them,using the routelocking sectional-release mode can bring notable benefits on large stations with high-density volumes while using the sectional-locking sectional-release mode can always provide outstanding outcomes over various station and traffic settings.
