Membrane electrode assembly(MEA)is widely considered to be the most promising type of electrolyzer for the practical application of electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).In MEAs,a square-shaped cross-section in the flow channel is normally adopted,the configuration optimization of which could potentially enhance the performance of the *** paper describes the numerical simulation study on the impact of the flow-channel cross-section shapes in the MEA electrolyzer for CO_(2)*** results show that wide flow channels with low heights are beneficial to the CO_(2)RR by providing a uniform flow field of CO_(2),especially at high current ***,the larger the electrolyzer,the more significant the effect *** study provides a theoretical basis for the design of high-performance MEA electrolyzers for CO_(2)RR.

In disaster response,collaboration facilitates interactions among actors,such as the government,the military,nongovernmental organizations,and civil society *** study examined the longitudinal changes in collaborative governance in Myanmar’s disaster responses based on cases of flooding in 2015,2016,and *** examine the mechanisms underlying this dynamic network formation,the collaborative ties of the actors involved in search and rescue activities were converted into longitudinal relational data sets,and the evolution of collaborative governance was analyzed by relying on the assumptions of social capital,transaction cost,homophily,and resource dependency theories and using a longitudinal social network analysis *** findings show that the collaborative networks of search and rescue processes in disaster response evolved and changed over time according to the hypothesized patterns of strong,weak,and preferential tie *** study also revealed that the collaborative governance system assumes the form of a hierarchy rather than a generalized exchange,and the actors’reliance on military organizations is not obvious due to the emerging alternative non-military actors and diverse local actors observed in the cases.

Background There are different definitions to identify/classify children with medical complexity(CMC).We aimed to investigate and describe the definitions used to classify CMC in epidemiological *** PubMed,SciELO,LILACS,and EMBASE were searched from 2015 to 2020(last updated September 15th,2020)for original studies that presented the definition used to classify/identify CMC in the scientific research *** applied the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses *** the included studies,the following were identified:first author,year of publication,design,population,study period,the definition of CMC used,limitations,and *** Nine hundred and sixty-seven records were identified in the searched databases,and 42 met the inclusion *** the 42 studies included,the four most frequent definitions used in the articles included in this review were classification of CMC into nine diagnostic categories based on the international Classification of Diseases,Ninth Revision(ICD-9)(35.7%,15 articles);update of the previous classification for ICD-10 codes with the inclusion of other conditions in the definition(21.4%,nine articles);definition based on a medical complexity algorithm for classification(16.7%,seven articles);and a risk rating system(7.1%,three articles).Conclusions CMC definitions using diagnostic codes were more ***,several limitations were found in its *** research highlighted the need to improve health information systems to accurately characterize the CMC population and promote the provision of comprehensive care.

Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation(AMOC)plays a central role in long-term climate variations through its heat and freshwater transports,which can collapse under a rapid increase of greenhouse gas forcing in climate *** studies have suggested that the deviation of model parameters is one of the major factors in inducing inaccurate AMOC *** this work,with a low-resolution earth system model,the authors try to explore whether a reasonable adjustment of the key model parameter can help to re-establish the AMOC after its *** a new optimization strategy,the extra freshwater flux(FWF)parameter is determined to be the dominant one affecting the AMOC’s *** traditional ensemble optimal interpolation(EnOI)data assimilation and new machine learning methods are adopted to optimize the FWF parameter in an abrupt 4×CO_(2) forcing experiment to improve the adaptability of model parameters and accelerate the recovery of *** results show that,under an abrupt 4×CO_(2) forcing in millennial simulations,the AMOC will first collapse and then re-establish by the default FWF parameter ***,during the parameter adjustment process,the saltier and colder sea water over the North Atlantic region are the dominant factors in usefully improving the adaptability of the FWF parameter and accelerating the recovery of AMOC,according to their physical relationship with FWF on the interdecadal timescale.

Because the larger metallic surrounds are heated by the eddy current, which is generated by the AC current flowing through the AC busbar in the international Thermonuclear ExperimentM Reactor （ITER） poloidal field （PF） converter system, shielding of the AC busbar is required to decrease the temperature rise of the surrounds to satisfy the design requirement. Three special types of AC busbar with natural cooling, air cooling and water cooling busbar structure have been proposed and investigated in this paper. For each cooling scheme, a 3D finite model based on the proposed structure has been developed to perform the electromagnetic and thermal analysis to predict their operation behavior. Comparing the analysis results of the three different cooling patterns, water cooling has more advantages than the other patterns and it is selected to be the thermal dissipation pattern for the AC busbar of ITER PF converter unit. The approach to qualify the suitable cooling scheme in this paper can be provided as a reference on the thermal dissipation design of AC busbar in the converter system.

Electrochemical CO2reduction reaction（CO2RR） has been regarded as one of the most promising solutions to achieving “zero carbon emission”. In most of the CO2RR-related studies, high-purity CO2has been employed as the feed gas; however, in practice, CO2is generally emitted in low concentrations, so it is of great significance to realize high-selectivity electroreduction of low-concentration CO2with large concentration fluctuation. In this work, we constructed a dual-active-site catalyst and successfully achieved CO2local enrichment and conversion for low-concentration CO2. Operando experiments reveal that the catalyst has one type of site for activating CO2and one type of site for binding the reaction intermediates. The dual-active-site catalyst displays a selectivity for formic acid consistently above 97% over a broad potential window（from-0.9 to-1.6 V ***）. Even when fed with a low-concentration CO2stream（volume ratio from 50% down to 10%）, the dual-active-site catalyst could display high activity and selectivity（>91%）. In particular, the selectivity is still above 85% when the CO2volume ratio is as low as 5%. This work offers a feasible route for converting low-concentration CO2via a synergistic effect for dual-active-site catalysts.

In this paper,the fault-tolerant capability of the existing stator-flux-oriented decoupling control(SFOC)for the DTP-PM motor is investigated,and a simple fault-tolerant SFOC is further designed to enhance fault ***,the mathematical model of the DTP-PM motor in the stator-flux-oriented rotating coordinate system is *** SFOC is proposed to guarantee healthy operation performance,considering torque,flux linkage,and harmonic ***,the coupling relationship under open-phase conditions is *** assessed result shows that the coupling relationship between the harmonic and fundamental components results in conflicts and poor post-fault ***,the proposed SFOC includes an automatic deactivation module to detect conflicts with a variable *** conflicted harmonic current controllers can be excluded ***,fault-tolerant control can be remedied without diagnosing the specific fault scenario,and excellent faulttolerant capability can be ***,experiments on a DTP-PM motor are carried out to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

Objective: To apply lectin affinity chromatography and glycoproteomics-based LC-MS/MS to preliminarily investigate the possible potential plasma biomarkers of Opisthorchis viverrini(OV)-associated CCA in OV/dimethylnitrosamine(DMN)-induced CCA hamster model. Methods: Nine Syrian hamsters were divided into 3 groups as follows(n=3 each): normal(healthy control group); OV group; and OV/DMN group(CCA group). Pooled plasma samples collected from animals in each group at the 6th month post-infection with OV metacercarae were subjected to glycoproteomics analysis. Glycoproteins in the pooled sample from each group were initially isolated by concanavilin A(Con A)-based affinity chromatography. The expression of glycoproteins isolated by both enrichment methods were determined using LCMS/MS. Results: Among the 24 Con A-binding glycoproteins isolated, two proteins, N-myc downstream regulated gene 1(NDRG1) and fetuin-B(FETUB) were found up-regulated only in the samples from the OV and control groups, but not in the OV/DMN(CCA) groups. On the other hand, one protein, i.e., NSFL1 cofactor p47 isoform x3(NSFL1C) was found only in the samples from OV/DMN(CCA) and control groups, but not in the OV group. The remaining 21 proteins were upregulated in the samples from all groups. Conclusions: NDRG1, FETUB and NSFL1 C glycoproteins isolated by Con A-based affinity chromatography could be potential biomarkers for CCA. Plasma samples with negative for NDRG1 and FETUB proteins but positive for NSFL1 C are likely to be OV-associated CCA. Nevertheless, this conclusion remains to be confirmed whether this battery test can discriminate OV-associated CCA from other risk factors.

Background:In addition to healthcare entitlements,‘migrant-friendly health services’in Thailand include interpretation and cultural mediation services which aim to reduce language and cultural barriers between health personnel and *** the Thai Government started implementing these services in 2003,challenges in providing them still *** study aims to analyse the health system functions which support the interpretation and cultural mediation services of migrant health worker(MHW)and migrant health volunteer(MHV)programmes in ***:In-depth interviews were conducted in two migrant-populated provinces using purposive and snowball sampling.A total of fifty key informants were recruited,including MHWs,MHVs,health professionals,non-governmental organisation(NGO)staff and policy *** were triangulated using information from policy *** deductive thematic analysis was classified into three main themes of evolving structure of MHW and MHV programmes,roles and responsibilities of MHWs and MHVs,and supporting ***:The introduction of the MHW and MHV programmes was one of the most prominent steps taken to improve the migrant-friendliness of Thai health *** mainly served as interpreters in public facilities,while MHVs served as cultural mediators in migrant *** challenges in providing services included insufficient budgets for employment and training,diverse training curricula,and lack of legal provisions to sustain the MHW and MHV ***:Interpretation and cultural mediation services are hugely beneficial in addressing the health needs of *** ensure the sustainability of current service provision,clear policy regulation and standardised training courses should be in place,alongside adequate and sustainable financial support from central government,NGOs,employers and migrant workers ***,regular monitoring and evaluation of the quality of services
