Repair of Second-Generation Recycled Fine Aggregate of Waste Concrete from Freeze-Thaw Environment by Carbonation Treatment

The reuse of waste recycled concrete from harsh environments has become a research hotspot in the field of *** study investigated the repair effect of carbonation treatment on second-generation recycled fine aggregate(SRFA)obtained from recycled fine aggregate concrete(RFAC)subjected to freeze-thaw(FT)*** and after carbonation,the properties of SRFA were *** second-generation recycled fine aggregate(CSRFA)at five substitution rates(0%,25%,50%,75%,100%)to replace SRFA was used to prepare carbonated second-generation recycled fine aggregate concrete(CSRFAC).The water absorption,porosity and mechanical properties of CSRFAC were tested,and its frost-resisting durability was *** results showed after carbonation treatment,the physical properties of SRFA was improved and met the requirements of II *** micro-hardness of the interfacial transition zone and attached mortar in CSRFA was 50.5%and 31.2%higher than that in SRFA,*** the increase of CSRFA replacement rate,the water absorption and porosity of CSRFAC gradually decreased,and the mechanical properties and frost resistance of CSRFAC were gradually *** treatment effectively repairs the damage of SRFA caused by FT cycles and improves its application potential.

Plants of the Caprifoliaceae family are widely cultivated worldwide as ornamental plants owing to their numerous,sweet-smelling,beautiful flowers and *** miconioides Rehd.,a member of the family,is endemic to eastern China and is cultivated as a popular ornamental plant in North America and European *** has a rather novel and beautiful trait of high horticultural value,that is,its sepals persist and enlarge,turning purplish ***,we report the chromosome-level genome assembly of *** to understand its evolution and floral *** 622.28 Mb assembled genome harbored a shared whole-genome duplication with a related species,Lonicera *** genomic analysis suggested that chromosome fission events following genome duplication underlie the unusual chromosome number of these two species,as well as chromosome fission of another five chromosomes in ***,giving rise to a haploid chromosome number of 14(versus 9 in ***).In addition,based on transcriptome and chloroplast genome analysis of 17 representative species in the Caprifoliaceae,we assumed that large structural variations in the chromosomes of *** were not caused by *** in the candidate genes of the MADS-box family were detected in the *** genome,including AP1-,AP3-,and SEPexpanded,which might underlie the sepal elongation and development in this *** current findings provided a critical resource for genome evolution studies in Caprifoliaceae and it was an example of how multi-omics data can elucidate the regulation of important ornamental traits.

In this study,a directional interpolation infinite element suited to a saturated porous medium is presented to account for dynamic problems with semi-infinite or infinite *** employing the Galerkin method,the element property matrixes for a two-dimensional space are *** the governing differential equations for wave propagation in the saturated porous media,the analytical solutions for one-dimensional wave propagation are derived in *** the shape functions for the infinite element based on the analytical solutions are formulated and the dynamic stiffness matrix is presented in analytical form is *** a result,a fully coupled 2 D infinite element for the analysis of dynamic problems in unbounded saturated porous media is *** effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed element is well demonstrated by a comparison of the numerical results with known analytical solutions for 1 D and 2 D wave propagation *** results highlight that the proposed directional interpolation infinite element is useful and effective for addressing the dynamic problems with semi-infinite or infinite domain,with consideration of both compression and shear waves.

The giant magnetoimpedance(GMI)effect and effective permeability ratio in a QFR/Cu/QFR sandwiched structure are studied,where QFR stands for the as-quenched FeNiCrSiB amorphous *** GMI effects are obtained in the QFR/Cu/QFR sandwiched structure without *** maximum values of the longitudinal and transverse GMI ratios at 0.5 MHz are 282%and 408%,***,the maximum effective permeability ratios at 0.5 MHz are 326%and 1013%in longitudinal and transverse field,*** large GMI values are attributed to the high effective permeability of the sample due to the closed alternating current(ac)magnetic flux path in the sandwiched structure,and large permeability variation induced by the magnetic field.

The challenge of aerodynamic noise is a key obstacle in the advancement of low-pressure tube ultra-high-speed maglev transportation,demanding urgent *** study utilizes a broadband noise source model to perform a quantitative analysis of the aerodynamic noise produced by ultra-high-speed maglev trains operating in low-pressure ***,an external flow field calculation model for the ultra-high-speed maglev train is ***,numerical simulations based on the broadband noise source model are used to examine the noise *** impact of the train speed and pressure level on noise generation is investigated ***,a correlation formula is *** results reveal that the amplitude of sound source changes in the streamlined region of the head and tail cars of the train is large,and the amplitude of changes for the middle car is *** noise source strength increases with speed,with a quadrupole noise source becoming dominant when the train speed exceeds 600 km/*** a speed of 1000 km/h,the noise source intensity from the streamlined area at the rear of the train overcomes that at the ***,the noise source decreases as the pressure level in the tube *** the pressure level drops to 0.01 atm,the quadrupole noise source intensity of a train running at 600 km/h significantly weakens and falls below that of the dipole noise source.

Single atom catalysts(SATs)process the highest utilization efficiency of noble *** synergistic effect of noble single atoms and clusters,however,is insufficiently *** this work,Ru single atoms and clusters are fabricated on CoP substrate simultaneously,using a facile synchronous phosphorization method,with pre-prepared CoOOH and RuCl_(3)mixture as the raw *** is demonstrated that strong charge transfer is established between Co and Ru elements,which leads to electron-sufficient Ru *** a result,the Ru species decorated CoP exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity for HER,with an overpotential of 32 mV to afford a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2)and a Tafel slope of 37.6 mV/dec,much better than the pure CoP *** work provides insights into the exploration of synergistic effect of noble metal single atoms and clusters fabricated on transition metal phosphide substrate.
