Cable welding wire（CWW）co2gas shielded welding is an innovative process arc welding with high efficiency,high quality and low consumption,in which cable wire is used as consumable *** co2gas shielded welding and submerged arc welding（SAW）are used for contrast studies on processing property of high strength steel A36used in ship *** results show that the shapes of weld seam,using CWW co2gas shielded welding and SAW,are good and no weld defect such as air hole,flaw,slag inclusion,incomplete fusion,lack of penetration and so on are found in the weld *** the rotating of arc during CWW co2gas shielded welding process has a strong stirring effect on molten pool,the grain in the heat affected zone（HAZ）of the joints,using CWW co2 gas shielded welding,is *** failure positions of joints by CWW co2gas shielded welding and SAW are all in the base metal,but tensile strength of CWW co2gas shielded welding joint is higher than that of SAW joint by an average of 2.3%.The average impact energy of HAZ,using CWW co2gas shielded welding and SAW,is almost equal,but the average impact energy of the weld seam using CWW co2gas shielded welding is increased by 6%,and the average impact energy of the fusion line is increased by 7%.The 180°bending tests for the joints of CWW co2 gas shielded welding and SAW are all qualified,and the joints hardness is all less than HV 355,but hardness of CWW co2gas shielded welding wire welding joint near the fusion line is obviously *** can be concluded that the properties of CWW co2gas shielded welding are better than those of the SAW joint,and CWW co2gas shielded welding is suitable for welding high strength steel A36used in ship structure.

copper has long been utilized as a disinfectant for bacteria,but its impact on microbial communities attached to the steel surface in seawater remains *** the present study,3 mooring chain steels of different copper contents are subjected to a 3-month marine field exposure,and the corrosion rate increases in the order of BR5 steel(without copper)steel(0.8%copper)steel(0.4%copper).The microbial community results show that copper introduction does not result in an obvious change in microbial quantity,but it alters the diversity,richness,and structure of microbial communities due to the variation in copper-resistance of different ***5 CuH steel holds microbial communities with the highest percentage of some well-known corrosive microbes including sulfate-reducing bacteria,sulfuroxidizing bacteria,and iron-oxidizing bacteria,but possesses the lowest community diversity/richness owing to the toxicity of *** microbial community diversity/richness is stimulated by the low-copper content of BR5 CuL steel,and this steel also carries an intermediate proportion of such corrosive *** well-known corrosive bacteria and microbial community diversity/richness seem to be involved in the corrosion acceleration of copper-bearing mooring chain steels.

CrN/（Ti,Al,Zr,Cr） N bilayer films were successfully deposited on cemented carbide（ WC-8% co） substrates by multi-arc ion plating process using two Ti-Al-Zr alloy targets and one pure Cr target. As a result of bilayered structure and addition of alloying elements（ e. g. Al and Cr）,the films exhibited excellent high temperature oxidation resistance under both short-term isothermal（ up to 800 ℃） and long-term cyclic（ up to 600 ℃） exposure conditions. combined with pre-established outstanding tribological properties（ e. g. maximum hardness of 4 000HV0. 01 and maximum adhesion strength over 200 N）,these observations make such films quite a promising candidate to extend the cutting tool life span and boost the performance in high-productivity,high-speed and high-feed cutting or in dry machining conditions.

To achieve high-efficiency utilization of complex and unmanageable iron-containing minerals,the effects of oxygen enrichment on productivity,yield,flame front speed,exhaust gas peak temperature,and desulphurization reaction of the vanadium-titanium magnetite sintering process as well as sinter tumble index and mineralogy were clarified,with oxygen enrichment concentrations ranging from 21 to 29 vol.%.Results indicated that with increasing the oxygen enrichment concentration from 21 to 27 vol.%,the flame front speed increased from 30.3 to 40.0 mm min^(-1),the yield enhanced from 72%to 77%,and the productivity augmented from 1.83 to 2.67t m^(-2)h^(-1);in the meantime,the tumble index was improved from 73.7%to 77.9%,and the exhaust gas peak temperature rose from 376.4 to 484.8℃.The main reason for the improvement in sintering properties was the increased combustibility of fuels and the generation of proper liquid phase that improved the permeability of the packed *** improved sinter strength is mainly due to the increase in the phase fraction of silico-ferrites of calcium and *** addition,oxygen enrichment sintering could significantly increase the desulphurization level of vanadium-titanium magnetite sinter and the rate of desulphurization reaction during sintering process.

In this paper,CCT(continuous cooling transformation)diagrams are determined for Nb-containing reinforcing bars with different Nb,Mn additions,and initial austenite grain sizes by simulating industrial conditions via dilatometry *** was found that coarse austenite grain size,high Mn content and Nb remaining in solution all increase hardenability of Nb-containing rebars,namely lower Ar3 for acicular phase transformation products,which leads to continuous yielding during tensile deformation when the volume fraction of acicular ferrite or bainite microstructure reaches a certain volume *** coupling with actual cooling rates for different size rebars,it can be explained why bainitic structure is prone to form in the center of rebars,especially for small size *** order to achieve required ferrite-pearlite microstructure,cooling strategy is optimized for industrial production.

controlling of the solution and precipitation for microalloying additions of Nb,V,Ti and their combination is the basic building block of microalloyed *** three microalloying elements,Nb has been regarded the most effective microalloying ingredient used for low carbon flat products due to marked strengthening effect of grain refinement and relatively weak precipitation strengthening effect by matching proper thermomechanical processing(TMP).However,Nb was not viewed as attractive as V for medium carbon long products in the past because of limited solubility during reheating *** is more,hot working is usually carried out at high temperatures in the recrystallization regime,so it is difficult to exert conventional controlled rolling to obtain pancaked austenite,which has further affected the research and application of Nb in medium carbon long *** of these factors,studies of Nb in medium carbon long products were incomplete,and even some recognitions and conclusions are subjected to *** order to clarify the strengthening effects of Nb in medium carbon long products,the reinforcing bars have been chosen as experimental steels to clarify the role of Nb on microstructural changes along the whole hot working,cooling *** addition,qualitative and quantitative analyses of Nb’s state and distribution in reheating,rolling and cooling had been carried out to illustrate some singularities.

To diagnose the lining condition of the blast furnace hearth during its campaign, are widely used methods based on the analysis of the temperature characteristics of the refractory lining. Measurement of the temperature characteristics is performed by means of a few hundred thermocouples placed inside the refractory lining. The peculiarity of proposed and used mathematical models is a fully three-dimensional assessment of the refractory lining, presence mechanisms of adaptation to the actual thermal conductivity of refractories and optimization calculations to the work in the on-line mode. The new monitoring systems of the lining wear of the blast furnace hearth are established on 5 blast furnaces of integrated iron-and-steel works of China： No.4 by volume 3,200 m3 of “Jinan iron ＆ steel company” in Jinan （683 thermocouples）, No.2 by volume 1,080 m3 of “Henan Jiyuan iron ＆ steel （Group） company” in Jiyuan （212 thermocouples）, No.4 by volume 2,500 m3 of “Guangxi Liuzhou iron ＆ steel （Group） company” in Liuzhou （383 thermocouples）, No.3 by volume 1,750 m3 of “Jinan iron ＆ steel company” in Jinan （524 thermocouples）; No.1 by volume 1,750 m3 of “Jinan iron ＆ steel company” in Jinan （524 thermocouples）.
