Clinical Study of Shentong Zhuyu Decoction Combined with Massage Therapy in the Treatment of Exertional Chronic Lumbar Muscle Strain

[Objectives]To explore the effects of Shentong Zhuyu decoction combined with massage therapy in the treatment of exertional chronic lumbar muscle strain.[Methods]Sixty-four cases of exertional chronic lumbar muscle strain were randomly divided into two groups(32 cases each group).The patients in the control group only took celecoxib capsules,and those in the treatment group additionally took Shentong Zhuyu decoction combined with massage *** syndrome score,lumbar function,hemorrheology index and clinical effect were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.[Results]After treatment,the tcm syndrome scores of lumbar distension/dull pain,tingling-like lumbago,adverse lateral turn,body weight loss,dark purple tongue,slow or astringent pulse,and Oswestry disability index(ODI)score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the levels of plasma viscosity,red blood cell aggregation index,platelet aggregation rate(PAG)and fibrinogen(Fib)were lower than those in the control group,showing statistical significance(P<0.05).The overall clinical effect distribution of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Shentong Zhuyu decoction combined with massage therapy can effectively relieve the symptoms of patients with lumbago and improve the lumbar mobility function and hemorrheology,with obvious therapeutic effects in the treatment of exertional chronic lumbar muscle strain.

BACKGROUND The efficacy of Vonoprazan-amoxicillin dual therapy(VAT)in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori(***)is *** To evaluate the efficacy of VAT in the Chinese *** This prospective,multicenter,randomized,open-label,and two-stage study was conducted at 23 centers in Fujian,China(May 2021-April 2022).***-infected patients were randomized to bismuth quadruple therapy(BQT),BQT-Vonoprazan(BQT-V),seven-day VAT(VAT-7),ten-day VAT(VAT-10),and fourteen-day VAT(VAT-14)*** primary endpoint was the *** eradication *** secondary endpoint was the frequency of adverse *** study was registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry,*** In the first stage,VAT-7 and BQT-V groups were selected for early termination because less than 23 among 28 cases were *** the second stage,the eradication rates for BQT,VAT-10,and VA-14 were 80.2%[95%confidence interval(95%CI):71.4%-86.8%],93.2%(86.6%-96.7%),92.2%(85.3%-96.0%)in the intention-to-treat(ITT)analysis,and 80.9%(95%CI:71.7%-87.5%),94.0%(87.5%-97.2%),and 93.9%(87.4%-97.2%)in the per-protocol *** ITT analysis showed a higher eradication rate in the VAT-10 and VAT-14 groups than in the BQT group(P=0.022 and P=0.046,respectively).The incidence of adverse events in the VAT-10 and VAT-14 groups was lower than in the BQT group(25.27%and 13.73%vs 37.62%,respectively;P<0.001).CONCLUSION VAT with a duration of 10 or 14 days achieves a higher eradication rate than the BQT,with a more tolerable safety profile in ***-infected patients in *** XP et *** for *** eradication.

Nocturnal enuresis is a disorder commonly encountered in children. Seldom bed-wetting at midnight due to excessive play, over-fatigue, mental excitement or drink too much water before going to bed does not mean abnormal. However, frequent nocturnal enuresis in children aged 3-12 is a morbid condition. The tcm treatment may bring about satisfactory effects for the following four patterns of the disease.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of acupuncture treatment for controlling Jacksonian epilepsy. Method: Penetrating needling is adopted together with scalp acupuncture and strong/electric needling on body points. Results: Of the 98 cases treated for 5 courses, 52 cases were markedly effective, 22 effective, 10 poorly effective and 14 ineffective. The total effective rate was 85.7% (95%CI = 78.8% - 92.6%). Conclusion: Acupuncture is quite effective for treating Jacksonian epilepsy.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of traditional Chinese comprehensive therapy(TCCT) on promoting gestation in patients with previously failed in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET) because of kidney deficiency, liver stagnation, and blood stasis(KLB).METHODS: Sixty-seven patients were enrolled in this study and divided into two groups: a trial group with 35 patients and a control group with 32 patients. The trial group was given TCCT for 3months, then administered IVF-ET or awaited natural pregnancy. The control group was administered IVF-ET without TCCT 3 months after the previous IVF-ET or natural pregnancy attempt. The patterns of KLB were observed both before and after treatment. The natural pregnancy rate of the two groups was calculated after treatment. Differences between the two groups were compared after using IVF-ET treatment again in fertilized egg number and fertilization rate were ***: After treatment with tcm comprehensive therapy, seven patients in the treatment group became pregnant, while there were no successful conceptions in the control group. The difference in clinical pregnancy rate in the initial cycle and transfer cycle of IVF were significantly different(P <0.05). The trial group had a significantly higher conception rate than that of the control group(P <0.05).CONCLUSION: TCCT can promote the natural pregnancy rate in patients with previously failed *** could increase patients' fertilized egg number, fertilization rate, pregnancy rate, and clinical pregnancy rate after another IVF-ET *** can also relieve the symptoms of KLB.

The present parper describes the combined treatment of gonococcal arthritis by acupuncture, garlic moxibustion, pricking blood, cupping and drawing hydrarthrus. Dazhui (Du 14), Quchi (LI 11) and Zusanli (St 36) points were selected, plus points along the meridian which were needled as indicated by the affected joint. Results showed that of the 116 cases, 74 were cured., 13 were markedly helped, 11 improved and 11 failed. The total effective rate was 84.5%.

Objective: To explore the promoting function of tcm nursing in the rehabilitation of hemiplegia patients with stroke. Methods: 78 stroke hemiplegic patients admitted from April 2022 to April 2024 were randomly divided into a control group of 38 cases who received routine care, and an experimental group of 40 cases who received routine nursing basis plus traditional Chinese medicine nursing;the nursing effects of the two groups of patients were compared. Results: After 12 days of nursing care, the experimental group showed better psychological status [SAS score (21.71 ± 3.21), SDS score (22.18 ± 2.31)], limb motor function, daily living ability, and neurological function [NIHSS score (12.23 ± 2.21)] than the control group, with significant differences in data (P Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine nursing for stroke hemiplegia patients is more conducive to promoting rehabilitation than routine nursing.
