Polarized electron beam production via laser wakefield acceleration in pre-polarized plasma is investigated by particlein-cell *** evolution of the electron beam polarization is studied based on the thomas±Bargmann±Michel±telegdi equation for the transverse and longitudinal self-injection,and the depolarization process is found to be influenced by the injection *** the case of transverse self-injection,as found typically in the bubble regime,the spin precession of the accelerated electrons is mainly influenced by the ***,in the case of longitudinal injection in the quasi-1d regime(for example,*** et al.,***.110,135002(2013)),the direction of electron spin oscillates in the laser *** the electrons move around the laser axis,the net influence of the laser field is nearly zero and the contribution of the wakefield can be ***,an ultra-short electron beam with polarization of 99%can be obtained using longitudinal self-injection.

the neutron total cross section data of^(9)Be are essential in the nuclear structure model research of light nuclei and nuclear power *** neutron total cross section of^(9)Be in the 0.3 eV−120 MeV energy region has been measured using time-of-flight and transmission methods with the Neutron total Cross Sectional Spectrometer(NtOX)based on the multi-cell fast fission chamber at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)-Back-n white neutron source(Back-n).the fission count-neutron energy distributions of ^(235)U and ^(238)U without samples and with Be samples with three thicknesses were measured in the double-bunch operation mode for a beam power of 100 *** Bayesian method was used to eliminate the influence of the double-bunch problem on neutron measurement in the energy region above 10 *** neutron total cross section of^(9)Be results was consistent with ENdF/B-VIII.0 evaluation library data in the 0.3 eV−20 MeV energy *** the energy ranges of 0.3 eV to 10 keV and 0.01 to 20 MeV,the deviations between our results and the evaluation results of ENdF/B-VIII.0 were within 2.5%and 15%,*** the resonance energy region,the measured resonance energies in our experiment were 0.63,0.82,and 2.8 MeV,*** results showed that the total cross section uncertainties of three Be samples were within 2.2%in the energy region below 1 *** total cross section uncertainty of 30 mm Be from ^(235)U was the smallest and less than 5%in the energy region of 0.3 eV−120 *** results of this experiment can provide technical support for further data analysis and related nuclear data evaluation.

Quasi-coherent micro-instabilities is one of the key topics of magnetic confinement fusion. this work focuses on the quasi-coherent spectra of ion temperature gradient(ItG) and trapped-electron-mode instabilities using newly developed far-forward collective scattering measurements within ohmic plasmas in the J-tEXt *** ItG mode is characterized by frequencies ranging from 30 to 100 k Hz and wavenumbers(k_(θρs)) less than 0.3. Beyond a critical plasma density threshold, the ItG mode undergoes a bifurcation, which is marked by a reduction in frequency and an enhancement in amplitude. Concurrently, enhancements in ion energy loss and degradation in confinement are observed. this ground-breaking discovery represents the first instance of direct experimental evidence that establishes a clear link between ItG instability and ion thermal transport.

Fully relativistic energies,transition properties,and lifetimes of lithium-like germanium

Employing two fully relativistic methods,the multi-reference configuration dirac-Hartree-Fock(MCdHF)methodand the relativistic many-body perturbation theory(RMBPt)method,we report energies and lifetime values for the lowest35 energy levels of the(1s^(2))nl configurations(where the principal quantum number n=2-6 and the angular quantum numberl=0,...,n-1)of lithium-like germanium(Ge XXX),as well as complete data on the transition wavelengths,radiativerates,absorption oscillator strengths,and line strengths between the *** the allowed(E1)and forbidden(magneticdipole M1,magnetic quadrupole M2,and electric quadrupole E2)ones are *** results from the two methodsare consistent with each other and align well with previous accurate experimental and theoretical *** assess theoverall accuracies of present RMBPt results to be likely the most precise ones to *** present fully relativistic resultsshould be helpful for soft x-ray laser research,spectral line identification,plasma modeling and *** datasetspresented in this paper are openly available at https://***/10.57760/sciencedb.j00113.00135.

the High-energy Fragment Separator(HFRS),which is currently under construction,is a leading international radioactive beam *** sets of position-sensitive twin time projection chamber(tPC)detectors are distributed on HFRS for particle identification and beam *** twin tPCs'readout electronics system operates in a trigger-less mode due to its high counting rate,leading to a challenge of handling large amounts of *** address this problem,we introduced an event-building *** algorithm employs a hierarchical processing strategy to compress data during transmission and *** addition,it reconstructs twin tPCs'events online and stores only the reconstructed particle information,which significantly reduces the burden on data transmission and storage *** studies demonstrated that the algorithm accurately matches twin tPCs'events and reduces more than 98%of the data volume at a counting rate of 500 kHz/channel.

We systematically study the electronic structure of a kagome superconductor CsV_(3)Sb_(5)at different temperatures coveringboth its charge density wave state and normal state with angle-resolved photoemission *** observe thatthe V-shaped band aroundГshows three different behaviors,referred to as a/a',βandγ,mainly at different *** investigations confirm that these bands are all from the same bulk Sb-p_(z)origin,but they are quite sensitiveto the sample surface conditions mainly modulated by ***,the intriguing temperature dependent electronicbehavior of the band nearГis affected by the sample surface condition,rather than intrinsic electronic behavior originatingfrom the phase *** result systematically reveals the confusing electronic structure behavior of the energy bandsaroundГ,facilitating further exploration of the novel properties in this material.

Novel synthesis of stabilized Bi1-x-yGdxdyyO1.5 solid electrolytes with enhanced conductivity for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）

Herein,we report the synthesis of a dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi2O3solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with dy3+and Gd3+has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi2O3-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction（XRd）,field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy（FESEM-EdX）,thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis（tG/dtA）,and the four-point probe technique（4PPt）.XRd analysis reveals that the samples Bi1-x-yGdxdyyO1.5（y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20） exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRd analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic（FCC） structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi0.90Gd0.05dy0.05O1.5has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd2O3increases until it reaches 20%.this finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.the dtA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRd *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized dy-Gd co-doped Bi2O3solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi0.75Gd0.20dy0.05O1.5exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells（SOFCs）.

Micelle-directed self-assembly of single-crystal-like mesoporous stoichiometric oxides for high-performance lithium storage

due to their uncontrollable assembly and crystallization process,the synthesis of mesoporous metal oxide single crystals remains a formidable ***,we report the synthesis of single-crystal-like mesoporous Li2tiSiO5by using soft micelles as *** key lies in the atomic-scale self-assembly and step-crystallization processes,which ensure the formation of single-crystal-like mesoporous Li2tiSiO5microparticles via an oriented attachment growth mechanism under the confinement of an in-situ formed carbon *** mesoporous Li2tiSiO5anode achieves a superior rate capability(148 mAh g-1at5.0 A g-1) and outstanding long-term cycling stability(138 mAh g-1after 3000 cycles at 2.0 A g-1) for lithium storage as a result of the ultrafast Li+diffusion caused by penetrating mesochannels and nanosized crystal frameworks（5-10 nm）.In comparison,bulk Li2tiSiO5exhibits poor rate capability and cycle performance due to micron-scale diffusion *** method is very simple and reproducible,heralding a new way of designing and synthesizing mesoporous single crystals with controllable frameworks and chemical functionalities.

the ground-state mass excess of the t_(z)=−2 drip-line nucleus ^(22)Al is measured for the first time as 18103(10)keV using the newly-developed Bρ-defined isochronous mass spectrometry method at the cooler storage ring in *** new mass excess value allowed us to determine the excitation energies of the two low-lying 1+states in ^(22)Al with significantly reduced uncertainties of 51 *** compared to the analogue states in its mirror nucleus ^(22)F,the mirror energy differences of the two 1^(+)states in the ^(22)Al-^(22)F mirror pair are determined to be−625(51)keV and−330(51)*** excitation energies and mirror energy differences are used to test the state-of-the-art ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group calculations with four sets of interactions derived from the chiral effective field *** mechanism leading to the large mirror energy differences is investigated and attributed to the occupation of theπs_(1/2) orbital.
