Soil erosion assessment by RUSLE model using remote sensing and GIS in an arid zone

In this research,we used the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE)and Geographical Information system(GIS)to predict the annual rate of soil loss in the District Chakwal of *** parameters of the RUSLE model were estimated using remote sensing data,and the erosion probability zones were determined using *** estimated length slope(LS),crop management(C),rainfall erosivity(R),soil erodibility(K),and support practice(P)range from 0-68,227,0-66.61%,0-0.58,495.99-648.68 MJ/***^(-1).year^(-1),0.15-0.25 MJ/***^(-1).year^(-1),and 1 *** results indicate that the estimated total annual potential soi loss of approximately 4,67,064.25 ***^(-1).year^(-1) is comparable with the measured'sediment ioss of 11,631 ***^(-1).year^(-1) during the water year *** predicted soil erosion rate due to an increase in agricultural area is approximately 164,249.31 ***^(-1).year^(-1).In this study,we also used,Landsat imagery to rapidly achieve actual land use ***,38.i3%of the region was threatened by very high soil erosion,where the quantity of soil erosion ranged from 365487.35 ***^(-1).year^(-1),Integrating GIS and remote sensing with the RUSLE model helped researchers achieve their final ***-use planners and decision-makers use the result's spatial distribution of soil erosion in District Chakwal for conservation and management planning.

Uninterrupted,efficient power supplies have posed a significant hurdle to the ubiquitous adoption of wearable devices,despite their potential for revolutionizing human‒machine *** challenge is further compounded by the requirement of these devices to supply dependable energy for data-intensive sensing and *** thermoelectric solutions fail to deliver satisfactory performance under conditions of extremely low ***,we present a novel solution of a wearable thermoelectric generator integrated with an energy management system,which is capable of powering sensors and Bluetooth by harnessing body *** from previous works,our innovation lies in its ability to consistently operate even with a minimal temperature difference(i.e.,4 K)between the human skin and the ambient environment,ensuring reliable data transmission within a time as short as 1.6 ***,our system can recharge utilizing body heat under ultralow voltage conditions(30 mV).Our developed system provides a novel pathway for the continuous,reliable monitoring of self-contained wearable devices without depending on batteries.

Control Emotion Intensity for LSTM-Based Expressive Speech Synthesis

To improve the performance of human-computer interaction interfaces, emotion is considered to be one of the most important factors. The major objective of expressive speech synthesis is to inject various expressions reflecting different emotions to the synthesized speech. To effectively model and control the emotion, emotion intensity is introduced for expressive speech synthesis model to generate speech conveyed the delicate and complicate emotional states. The system was composed of an emotion analysis module with the goal of extracting control emotion intensity vector and a speech synthesis module responsible for mapping text characters to speech waveform. The proposed continuous variable “perception vector” is a data-driven approach of controlling the model to synthesize speech with different emotion intensities. Compared with the system using a one-hot vector to control emotion intensity, this model using perception vector is able to learn the high-level emotion information from low-level acoustic features. In terms of the model controllability and flexibility, both the objective and subjective evaluations demonstrate perception vector outperforms one-hot vector.

In the past decade or so,AI(artificial intelligence)technology has been growing with such a mesmerizing speed that today its presence in almost any industry that deals with any huge sheer volume of data is taking advantage of AI by integrating it into their day-to-day ***,seven billion people worldwide shape the world’s energy system and directly impact the fundamental drivers of energy,both renewable and non-renewable sources,to meet the demand for electricity from *** energy sources can be reached from nature such as solar,wind,etc.,and human-made such as NPPs(nuclear power plants)in the form of either fission as an old technology since the Manhattan project and in the near future as fusion in the form of magnetic or inertial ***,AI controlling nuclear reactors are about to *** basic idea is to apply AI with its two subset components as ML(machine learning),and DL(deep learning)techniques to go through the mountains of data that come from a reactor,spot patterns in it,and calling them to the unit’s human attention operators is not invadable *** of such nuclear reactors will combine simulation and real-world data,comparing scenarios from each to develop“confidence[in]what they can predict and what is the range of uncertainty of their prediction”.Adding that,in the end,the operator will make the final decisions in order to keep these power plants safe while they are in operation and how to secure them against cyber-attack natural or human-made *** this short communication article,we would like to see how we can prove some of these concepts;then a NPP manufacturer can pick it up and use it in their designs of a new generation of these reactors.

Empirical Analysis on Performance Evaluation of A Pharmaceutical Company Based on Economic Value Added

Objective To establish an economic value added(EVA)performance evaluation system to maintain the competitiveness of pharmaceutical company A under the environment of fierce competition in the pharmaceutical *** An EVA performance evaluation model was established by adjusting the items of EVA performance evaluation index,such as after-tax profits,total invested capital and weighted average cost of capital *** and Conclusion EVA values of pharmaceutical company A from 2014 to 2018 were calculated and compared with the traditional performance evaluation method,it was found that EVA performance evaluation model reflected the real performance of pharmaceutical company ***,pharmaceutical company A is doing well,but its growth rate is unstable.

The proposal is focused on reconsideration and total reconstruction of recent economic education on the basis of different teaching styles, real competence-based learning, education for entrepreneurship and other trends in life-long education. These qualities are closely and mainly linked to target competencies which are the results of education and are reconditioned by these qualities. A modernized taxonomy of teaching methods and styles and instructions for their application in a diverse form will be proposed. The project applicants believe that the conceptual changes should be addressed by basic research as an innovation of methodological support in the form of teaching aids stratification. Teachers of economic subjects must be able to create their own teaching aids independently. They should be field methodology innovators, too. The new proposed taxonomy should be reflected in the training of teachers so that they avail of the new paradigm. This article is provided as one of the outputs of the research project of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, which is realized in the framework of institutional support University of Economics IP100040.

The Construction of Drug Traceability system Based on Block Chain Technology
