Titanium/Gold （Ti/Au） metals have been widely employed as ohmic metal contacts on n+Ga2O3,exhibiting the specific contact resistance （ρc） of 10-5-10-6Ω·cm2[1].But previous studies have revealed the presence of a defective Ga2O3layer and reactive Ti-Ga2O3layer at the annealed Ti/*** an interfacial layer can afect the performance of ohmic contact,which may become more pronounced in power devices subjected to electrical stress and high-frequency ***,there have been no reports on the impact of bias stress effects and dynamic degradation of Ti/Au ohmic contacts on n+Ga2O3.

All-perovskite tandem solar cells have the potential to surpass the theoretical efficiency limit of single junction solar cells by reducing thermalization ***,the challenges encompass the oxidation of Sn2+to Sn4+and uncontrolled crystallization kinetics in Sn-Pb perovskites,leading to nonradiative recombination and compositional heterogeneity to decrease photovoltaic efficiency and operational ***,we introduced an ionic liquid additive,1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide （EMIMI） into Sn-Pb perovskite precursor to form low-dimensional Sn-rich/pure-Sn perovskites at grain boundaries,which mitigates oxidation of Sn2+to Sn4+and regulates the film-forming dynamics of Sn/Pb-based perovskite *** optimized single-junction Sn-Pb perovskite devices incorporating EMIMI achieved a high efficiency of 22.87%.Furthermore,combined with wide-bandgap perovskite sub-cells in tandem device,we demonstrate 2-terminal all-perovskite tandem solar cells with a power conversion efficiency of 28.34%,achieving improved operational stability.

Rechargeable aqueous zinc-metal batteries （AZMBs） are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage systems due to their low cost and high ***,their performance and sustainability are significantly hindered by the sluggish desolvation kinetics at the electrode/electrolyte interface and the corresponding hydrogen evolution reaction where active water molecules tightly participate in the Zn（H2O）62+solvation ***,learnt from self-generated solid electrolyte interphase （SEI） in anodes,the dielectric but ion-conductive zinc niobate nanoparticles artificial layer is constructed on metallic Zn surface （ZNB@Zn）,acting as a rapid desolvation *** zincophilic and dielectric-conductive properties of ZNB layer accelerate interfacial desolvation/diffusion and suppress surface corrosion or dendrite formation,achieving uniform Zn plating/stripping behavior,as confirmed by electronic/optical microscopies and interface spectroscopical measurements together with theoretical ***,the as-prepared ZNB@Zn electrode exhibits excellent cycling stability of over 2000 h and robust reversibility （99.54%） even under high current density and depth of discharge ***,the assembled ZNB@Zn-based full cell displays high capacity-retention rate of 80.21%after 3000 cycles at 5 A g-1and outstanding rate performance up to 10 A *** large-areal pouch cell is stabilized for hundreds of cycles,highlighting the bright prospects of the dielectric but ion-conductive layer in further application of AZMBs.

AIM： To evaluate the effects of osthole on fatty liver, and investigate the possible mechanism. METHODS： A quail model with hyperlipidemic fatty liver and rat model with alcoholic fatty liver were set up by feeding high fat diet and alcohol, respectively. These experimental animals were then treated with osthole 5-20 mg/kg for 6 wk, respectively. Whereafter, the lipid in serum and hepatic tissue, and coefficient of hepatic weight were measured. RESULTS： After treatment with osthole the levels of serum total cholesterol （TC）, triglyceride （TG）, lower density lipoprotein-cholesterol （LDL-C）, coefficient of hepatic weight, and the hepatic tissue contents of TC and TG were significantly decreased. The activity of superoxide dismutase （SOD） in liver was improved. In alcohol-induced fatty liver rats, the level of malondialdehyde （MDA） in liver was decreased. In high fat-induced fatty liver quails, glutathione peroxidase （GSH-PX） in liver was significantly improved. The histological evaluation of liver specimens demonstrated that the osthole dramatically decreased lipid accumulation. CONCLUSION： These results suggested that osthole had therapeutic effects on both alcohol and high fatinduced fatty liver. The mechanism might be associated with its antioxidation.

Aim: Increased expression of c-fos, c-jun and type Ⅳ collagen (CoⅣ) in glomerular mesangial cells (GMC) are important characteristics of diabetic nephropathy. Both c-los and c-jun regulate the gene expression of extracellular matrix components, and CoⅣ is the main component of the extracellular matrix. It has been reported that puerarin inhibits aggregation of the extracellular matrix in diabetic rats by an as yet unknown mechanism. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of puerarin on c-fos, c-jun and CoⅣ expression in GMC cultured in medium containing 5.6 or 27.8 mmol/L glucose. Methods: The expressions of c-fos and c-jun were measured at the protein level using flow cytometry. CoⅣ content was detected using radioimmunoassay. Protein kinase C (PKC) activity was measured using liquid scintillation counting. Results: Puerarin (10-5mmol/L) significantly ameliorated the high-glucose effect on c-fos, c-jun and CoⅣ expression. This effect is accompanied by a reduced PKC activity in these cells. Coclusion: Our results suggest that reduced PKC activity and expression of c-fos and c-jun in GMC might participate in the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effect of puerarin on diabetic nephropathy.

Evidence for a therapeutic effect of Braintone on ischemic brain damage

This study used a novel combination of in vivo and in vitro experiments to show that Braintone had neuroprotective effects and clarified the molecular mechanisms underlying its efficacy. The chinese herbal extract Braintone is composed of Radix Rhodiolase Essence, Radix Notoginseng Essence, Fofium Ginkgo Essence and Rhizoma Chuanxiong. In vivo experiments showed that cerebral infarction volume was reduced, hemispheric water content decreased, and neurological deficits were alleviated in a rat model of permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion after administration of 87.5, 175 or 350 mg/kg Braintone for 7 consecutive days. Western blot analysis showed that Braintone enhanced the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor la, heme oxygenase-1 and vascular endothe- lial growth factor in the ischemic cortex of these rats. The 350 mg/kg dose of Braintone produced the most dramatic effects. For the in vitro experiments, prior to oxygen-glucose deprivation, rats were intragastrically injected with 440, 880 or 1 760 mg/kg Braintone to prepare a Braintone-co ntaining serum, which was used to pre-treat human umbilical vein endothelial cells for 24 hours. Human umbilical vein endothelial cell injury was alleviated with this pre-treatment. Western blot and real-time PCR analysis showed that the Braintone-containing serum increased the levels of hy- poxia-inducible factor la mRNA and protein, heine oxygenase-1 protein and vascular endothelial growth factor mRNA in oxygen-glucose deprived human umbilical vein endothelial cells. The 1 760 mg/kg dose produced the greatest increases in expression. Collectively, these experimental findings suggest that Braintone has neuroprotective effects on ischemia-induced brain damage via the up-regulation of hypoxia-inducible factor la, heme oxygenase-1 and vascular endothelial growth factor expression in vascular endothelial cells.

AIM： To observe the anti-liver fibrosis effect of Astragalus complanatus fiavonoids （ACF） in rats. METHODS： The liver fibrosis model in rats was established by injecting interperitoneally 0.2 mL/100 g 0.5% dimethylnitrosamine, thrice a week. Meanwhile, the rats were administered ACF （30, 60, 120 mg/kg） or colchicine （0.1 mg/kg） once a day for 1 mo. Serum N-propeptide of type Ⅰ procollagen （PINP） and type Ⅲ procollagen （PⅢNP） was measured using ELISA. Malondialdehyde （MDA） and superoxide dismutase （SOD） in hepatic tissue were evaluated. Matrix metal protease-1 （MMP-1） mRNA expression was assayed by RT-PCR and the protein expression of tissue inhibitor of metal protease-1 （TIMP-1） was analyzed by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS： In the ACF groups, SOD activity increased and MDA content decreased in comparison to the liver fibrosis model group. The serum PINP and PⅢNP contents in ACF-2 and -3 group decreased compared to those in model group. In ACF-2 and -3 group, the expression of MMP-1 mRNA increased significantly and the protein expression of TIMP-1 decreased compared to that in model group. CONCLUSION： The antifibrotic mechanisms of ACF are associated with its influence on lipid peroxidation and collagen synthesis and degradation.

We report the growth of porous AlN films on C-face SiC substrates by hydride vapor phase epitaxy(HⅤPE).The influences of growth condition on surface morphology,residual strain and crystalline quality of Al N films have been *** the increase of theⅤ/Ⅲratio,the growth mode of Al N grown on C-face 6H-SiC substrates changes from step-flow to pit-hole *** force microscopy(AFM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and Raman analysis show that cracks appear due to tensile stress in the films with the lowestⅤ/Ⅲratio and the highestⅤ/Ⅲratio with a thickness of about 3μ*** contrast,under the mediumⅤ/Ⅲratio growth condition,the porous film can be *** when the thickness of the porous Al N film is further increased to 8μm,the film remains porous and crack-free,and the crystal quality is improved.
