A New Framework for Software Vulnerability Detection Based on an Advanced Computing

The detection of software vulnerabilities written in C and C++languages takes a lot of attention and interest today.This paper proposes a new framework called DrCSE to improve software vulnerability detection.It uses an intelligent computation technique based on the combination of two methods:Rebalancing data and representation learning to analyze and evaluate the code property graph(CPG)of the source code for detecting abnormal behavior of software vulnerabilities.To do that,DrCSE performs a combination of 3 main processing techniques:(i)building the source code feature profiles,(ii)rebalancing data,and(iii)contrastive learning.In which,the method(i)extracts the source code’s features based on the vertices and edges of the CPG.The method of rebalancing data has the function of supporting the training process by balancing the experimental dataset.Finally,contrastive learning techniques learn the important features of the source code by finding and pulling similar ones together while pushing the outliers away.The experiment part of this paper demonstrates the superiority of the DrCSE Framework for detecting source code security vulnerabilities using the Verum dataset.As a result,the method proposed in the article has brought a pretty good performance in all metrics,especially the Precision and Recall scores of 39.35%and 69.07%,respectively,proving the efficiency of the DrCSE Framework.It performs better than other approaches,with a 5%boost in Precision and a 5%boost in Recall.Overall,this is considered the best research result for the software vulnerability detection problem using the Verum dataset according to our survey to date.

Glioblastoma multiforme(GBM)is the most common malignant primary brain tumor in adults.The precise identification and distinction of GBM heterogeneity from surrounding brain parenchyma at the cellular level and even at the tissue level are important for GBM therapy.In this study,GBM cells are distinguished from normal astrocytes and non-central nervous system(CNS)tumor cells by surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)based on gold nanoshell(SiO_(2)@Au)particles and support vector machine(SVM)algorithm.In addition,the gold nanoisland(AuNI)SERS substrates are further developed and explored for accurate detection of GBM at the tissue level.The distinction between glioma and trauma tissues,identification of different tumor grades,and IDH mutation are realized with the assistance of orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(OPLS-DA)in a rapid,non-invasive,and convenient method.The results show that the developed SERS-based analytical method has the potential for practical application for the detection of GBM at the single-cell and tissue levels and even for real-time intraoperative diagnosis.

The influence of solute Ce,Mn,and Si on the mechanical properties of silicon steel was investigated by first-principles calculation.Ce,Mn,and Si can all be solubilized in Fe matrix.Ce significantly reduces the incompressibility and rigidity of the system but also significantly improves the toughness and machinability.The effect of Mn on mechanical properties of the system is not obvious.Si has a significant effect on the improvement in incompressibility and rigidity but a limited effect on the improvement in toughness and machinability.The metallic bond strength of Fe-Ce,Fe-Mn,and Fe-Si doped systems is weaker than that of the pure Fe system,which can be used to explain the reduction in the incompressibility and rigidity of these doped systems.The relatively high electron cloud density in the doped system may be responsible for the increase in toughness.

The research explored the ways and means of narrative design in which regional cultural elements are integrated into cultural and creative products.It also researched a new way of thinking and methods of creative product design based on regional cultural elements in order to satisfy consumers’emotional and cultural experiences.Narrative theory takes the perspective of narrative expression in the design of cultural and creative products.The regional cultural elements were used for better interactive communication with consumers in the form of cultural and creative products.In the narrative of cultural and creative product design,intervening in the development of regional cultural and creative design from the perspective of narratology can better exert and create the cultural value of the region itself,with cultural and creative products playing an important role in“local cultural stories.”This research adopted a qualitative approach and provided ideas and guidance for the narrative design and expression of regional cultural elements in creative products through comparative analysis of case studies.The research highlighted the role of narrative design in creating multi-layered experiences,weaving regional cultural stories into products,and the importance of deep understanding and effective use of regional cultural elements in design.

Cancer frequently develops resistance to the majority of chemotherapy treatments.This study aimed to examine the synergistic cytotoxic and antitumor effects of SGLT2 inhibitors,specifically Canagliflozin(CAN),Dapagliflozin(DAP),Empagliflozin(EMP),and Doxorubicin(DOX),using in vitro experimentation.The precise combination of CAN+DOX has been found to greatly enhance the cytotoxic effects of doxorubicin(DOX)in MCF-7 cells.Interestingly,it was shown that cancer cells exhibit an increased demand for glucose and ATP in order to support their growth.Notably,when these medications were combined with DOX,there was a considerable inhibition of glucose consumption,as well as reductions in intracellular ATP and lactate levels.Moreover,this effect was found to be dependent on the dosages of the drugs.In addition to effectively inhibiting the cell cycle,the combination of CAN+DOX induces substantial modifications in both cell cycle and apoptotic gene expression.This work represents the initial report on the beneficial impact of SGLT2 inhibitor medications,namely CAN,DAP,and EMP,on the responsiveness to the anticancer properties of DOX.The underlying molecular mechanisms potentially involve the suppression of the function of SGLT2.

This paper discusses ancestral hall architecture within the context of the Cantonese folk lineage in the Pearl River Delta.Using a typological research approach and chronological analysis,various factors that have influenced the evolution of ancestral hall architecture are analyzed.The study specifically investigates the features of ancestral halls during the Ming and Qing dynasties.Three periods of ancient China are analyzed:The transition from Ming to Qing,the mid-Qing dynasty,and the late Qing dynasty.The variables of each period and how they influence the evolution of architectural typological features are identified.Based on our analysis,architectural features are related to economic and social factors,materials available,and craftsmanship of the construction workers.

This paper studies the clan temples in four periods,namely,the development period(early Ming Dynasty and before),the shaping period(mid-Ming Dynasty to early Qing Dynasty),the maturity period(mid-Qing Dynasty),and the programmed period(late Qing Dynasty),analyzes and summarizes their prototypical planform features and attempts to summarize and construct a genealogy of the architectural characteristics of the plane shape of clan temples.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,Guangfu ancestral halls in general showed a journey of development from a centripetal-single-linear-multi-linear-grid pattern,forming the unique Guangsanlu classic pattern in the Guangfu area.
