The rapid identification of planting patterns for major crops in a large irrigated district has vital importance for irrigation management,water fee collection,and crop yield *** this study,the OTSU algorithm and Mean-Shift algorithm were employed to automatically determine threshold values for mapping two main rotated crop patterns at the pixel scale.A time series analysis was conducted to extract the spatial distribution of rice-wheat and wheat-maize rotations in the Chuanhang irrigation district from 2016 to *** results demonstrate that both threshold segmentation algorithms are reliable in extracting the spatial distribution of the crops,with an overall accuracy exceeding 80%.Additionally,both Kappa coefficients surpass 0.7,indicating better performance by OTSU *** the period from 2016 to 2020,the area occupied by rice-wheat rotation cropping ranged from 12500 to 14400 hm 2;whereas wheat-maize rotation cropping exhibited smaller and more variable areas ranging from 19730 to 34070 hm *** findings highlight how remote sensing-based approaches can provide reliable support for rapidly and accurately identifying the spatial distribution of main crop rotation patterns within a large irrigation district.

Phototherapy, including photodynamic therapy(PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT), is a promisingmethod of tumor treatment, which has the advantages ofstrong specificity and small side effects. However, PDT willaggravate the hypoxic environment in tumor cells, and PTTwill lead to heat-resistant reaction, both of which will make theorganism quickly produce heat shock proteins (HSPs) toprotect itself, thus seriously hindering the therapeuticefficiency of phototherapy. As a natural HSPs inhibitor,quercetin (QR) provides a feasible way to solve this ***, a kind of metal organic framework (MOF), Fe-TCPP(FT), was used as a delivery material and photosensitizer tobuild a chemo-phototherapy platform, and QR was used as achemotherapy drug and HSPs inhibitor. On this basis, the nanoparticles (NPs) were modified with PEG-CPP30 (a cellpenetratingpeptide that specifically recognizes human breast cancer MCF-7 cells), which showed excellent targetingcapacity and biocompatibility. The combination of chemotherapy and phototherapy significantly improved the anti-cancereffect. At the same time, NPs also showed prominent anti-HSPs effect. The effective connection of the two played acomplementary role in the process of tumor treatment, which provided a new strategy for the accurate and efficienttreatment of tumors in the future.

Based on RS data of Daiyue district,Tai'an City in 2000,2005 and 2010,changes of land use types in urban-rural ecotone of Tai'an City from 2000 to 2010 were *** theories,ArcGIS techniques and landscape structure analysis software Fragstats were applied to select relevant landscape pattern indexes and analyze changes of landscape structure,and compare changes in two durations(2000-2005,2005-2010).The results showed that area of natural landscapes in the study area declined from 2000 to 2010,construction land expanded,land use types were mainly transferred from natural landscapes to man-made *** terms of landscape level,number of patches(NP),patch density(PD),patch shape index(SHAPE),Shannon's diversity index(SHDI) and Shannon's evenness index(SHEI) increased,the largest patch index(LPI) *** terms of type level,arable land were influenced by the most human interventions,large-scale patches turned fragmented,and landscape dominance degraded;woodland landscapes were concentrated in mountainous areas,waterscape indexes showed slight *** of regional dominant landscape types degraded,landscape fragmentation and landscape heterogeneity increased,and landscape stability declined.

The preservation of farmland is a growing concern in China because the fact that China possesses limited land resources and the world's largest population presents a clear contradiction. Only when the value of farmland is fully appreciated in commercial markets can farmland preservation be effectively achieved. The current study constructed a model to evaluate the economic, social, and ecological value of farmland in China according to the connotation of values. As a case study, the value of Chinese farmland was estimated in 1999, 2002, 2005, 2008, and 2011 using the established model. Although the amount of farmland was greatly reduced from 1999 to 2011 due to constructive occupation, agricultural restructuring, ecological restoration, and disaster destruction, the value of this farmland increased from 220.71×1012 to 736.26×1012 RMB Yuan as a result of the multifunctional nature and scarcity of farmland during the same period. The potential value of farmland in China was huge, but the value in the market was greatly underestimated, especially in regard to its social and ecological value. This study proposes a new method that integrates the discounted value of all future services provided by a natural resource(for the society and individuals) to evaluate the resource assets, provides a scientific foundation for the preservation and operation of farmland assets, and explores ways to increase farmers' property income.

From 2015 to 2017, a total of 1957 investigation sites were set up in Sanyuan district of Sanming City, to conduct a comprehensive investigation on the species, occurrence and distribution of forest pests in 200 species of plants. The results showed that there were 163 species of forest pests in Sanyuan district, including 122 species of pests and 41 species of diseases. Dendrolimus punctatus walker, Monochamus alternatus Hope, Pantana phyllostachysae Chao, Loudonta dispar(Kiriakoff), Rammeacris kiangsu(Tsai) and Schizotetranychus nanjingensis Ma et Yuan were common forest pests, and Bursaphelenchus xylophilus(Steiner et Burher) Nickle was an invasive forestry quarantine disease. The prevention and control measures and technical measures against B. xylophilus and common forest pests were put forward, in order to provide scientific basis for productive control.

Protection and optimization of cultivated land resources are of great significance to national food *** land conversion in northern China has increased in recent years due to the industrialization and urbanization of ***,the assessment of cultivated land conversion in this area is insufficient,posing a potential risk to cultivated land *** study evaluated the evolution and spatiotemporal patterns of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,China,and the driving factors to improve rational utilization and to protect cultivated land *** spatiotemporal patterns of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia were analyzed using the cultivated land conversion index,kernel density analysis,a standard deviation ellipse model,and a geographic *** showed that from 2000 to 2020,the trends in cultivated land conversion area and rate in Inner Mongolia exhibited fluctuating growth,with the total area of cultivated land conversion reaching 7307.59 km^(2) at a rate of 6.69%.Spatial distribution of cultivated land conversion was primarily concentrated in the Hetao Plain,Nengjiang Plain,Liaohe Plain,and the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos urban ***,the standard deviational ellipse of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia exhibited a directional southwest-northeast-southwest-northeast distribution,with the northeast-southwest direction identified as the main driving force of spatial change in cultivated land ***,cultivated land conversion exhibited an increase-decrease-increase change process,indicating that spatial distribution of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia became gradually apparent within the study *** geographic detector results further revealed that the main driving factors of cultivated land conversion in Inner Mongolia were the share of secondary and tertiary industries and per-unit area yield of grain,with explanatory rates of 57.00%,55.0

The Late Paleozoic and Mesozoic tectonic framework of the Nanpanjiang Basin has much been ***,the middle-acid volcanic rock,dacite,exposed to the Zhesang gold district,southeast Yunnan Province,has been *** results show that the dacite belongs to a calc-alkaline series,SiO_(2)contents range from 62.79 to 76.66 wt%.Zircon SHRIMP U–Pb dating of dacite demonstrates that they were formed in the Early Triassic(247.8±1.7 Ma,MSWD=1.2).All samples exhibit enrichment in LILE(***,K,Th,and U),and depletion in HFSE(***,Ta,and Ti),which has the geochemical affinity of I-type ***–La/Sm and La–La/Yb discrimination diagrams show that the partial melting,mainly of the mafic lower crust,of rocks,plays a major role in the formation *** dacite has low initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.706954 to 0.708589)and negative ε_(Nd)(t)values(-11.77 to-10.88).Zircons in dacite have ε_(Hf)(t)values of-16.2 to-8.3,and the two-stage Hf model ages are 1799–2301 Ma,mostly concentrated between 1800 and 1900 Ma,indicating that the magma source area is the reconstructed ancient lower crust mixed with some mantle materials,and crystal fractionation process underwent in the late stage of magma *** study reveals that the arc-volcanic rocks of the Early Triassic in the southern margin of the Nanpanjiang Basin were formed by the subduction of the Late Paleozoic ocean basin within the border region between China and Vietnam.

Hydrochemical characterization of groundwater in Balad district, Salah Al-Din Governorate, Iraq

The assessment of hydrochemical quality of groundwater is very important to explore its nature and usefulness. In this paper, groundwater quality evaluation is carried out in the Balad district, Salah Al-Din Governorate, Iraq. A total of 28 groundwater samples are collected from shallow tube wells and analyzed for various physicochemical parameters. Groundwater suitability for drinking is evaluated based on the World Health Organization(WHO) and Iraqi standards, and suitability of groundwater for irrigation is assessed based on various hydrochemical parameters. The results reveal that the dominant types of groundwater based on piper diagram are mixed CaMgCl and CaCl. Gibbs ratio indicates that the groundwater in the studied area is affected by the evaporation process. The cation-anion exchange reaction in the studied area demonstrates that 54% of the groundwater samples indicate a direct base(cation-anion) exchange reaction, while 46% of the groundwater samples indicating the chloro-alkaline disequilibrium. Furthermore, generally all of the groundwater samples are unsuitable for drinking and irrigation. Cluster analysis reveals two different groups of similarities between the groundwater samples, reflecting different pollution levels in the studied area.
